Saudi Arabia embraces Syria’s jihadist leadership, calls on Western leaders to lift sanctions

The gullibility of the West is astounding. It poured billions into the Palestinian perpetual lie of an exponentially rising number of “refugees” through the decades; into Afghanistan, where “humanitarian aid” has funded the Taliban since the fall of Kabul in Aug. 2021; and into Iran, first with Obama’s nuke deal and then with Biden’s repeated releases of billions in frozen funds. Now the West is poised to embrace the new Syrian leadership, which is nothing more than an expansionary jihadist entity rebranded to con the West out of more billions.

As for Saudi Arabia, beware. “After urging from Saudi Arabia, EU ministers will consider easing sanctions on post-Assad Syria,” by Baraa Anwer, Associated Press, January 12, 2025:

European Union foreign ministers will meet in late January to discuss easing sanctions imposed on Syria, the bloc’s foreign policy chief said Sunday. However, she said the move would depend on Syria’s new rulers carrying out an inclusive political transition after last month’s overthrow of President Bashar Assad.

Kaja Kallas’ comments came at a gathering of top European and Middle Eastern diplomats in the Saudi capital of Riyadh to discuss Syria’s future.

Saudi Arabia called for the lifting of sanctions, which threaten to undermine Syria’s recovery from nearly 14 years of civil war that killed an estimated 500,000 people and displaced half the country’s prewar population of 23 million.

European countries and the United States have been wary over the Islamist roots of the former insurgents who drove Assad out of power and who now lead an interim government.

The former rebels have promised to hold a national dialogue summit that includes different groups across Syria to agree upon a new political road map leading to a new constitution and an election.

Kallas said EU foreign ministers will look at how to ease sanctions during a Jan. 27 meeting in Brussels….

And now: Saudi Arabia is urging the West to embrace the al-Qaeda offshoot leadership in Syria. From the frying pan into the fire, Syria is now ruled by jihadists, and the West, or at least some Western countries, will take jihadists at their word.

This is all unfolding in Muslim Brotherhood style, as the MB is well known for leading “dialogues” as a means to manipulate the gullible West:

In July, the US launched an investigation into $293 million in missing aid that was believed to have been diverted to Taliban. America somehow expected the suffering people of Afghanistan to be the beneficiaries of humanitarian aid. This is not only gullibility on display, but the reckless funding of Western enemies. Western leaders will never learn. The West will always lose ground in any “dialogues” with jihadists, stealth or violent. That’s because the West embraces the falsehood that Islam (as the Sharia delineates its tenets and teachings) is a religion of peace.

Supporting the jihadist leadership of Syria is a short-term solution that will backfire.

A reminder about who the new Syrian leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani really is under his facade (for expedient reasons, he has changed his name to Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, which he says was his original name): he served his religion as the leader of the Salafist Al-Nusra Front, aka the Front for the Conquest of the Levant. Its goal was conquest: to overthrow Bashar al-Assad and establish an Islamic State governed by Sharia law.

According to the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, Jabhat al-Nusra (that is, the Al-Nusra Front) during the Syrian civil war “rivals ISIS as a sophisticated, intelligent, strategic actor in the region and continues to enjoy a dangerous freedom to operate in Syria. The two groups share common goals, including a revived Islamic Caliphate. JN, however, is pursuing its aims through a distinct, more patient methodology that is highly threatening despite its low signature. Whereas ISIS has announced its state and tried to legitimize it by conquest, JN is following AQ leader Ayman al-Zawahiri’s method of fomenting a religious and social revolution by embedding itself within an indigenous insurgency. The Syrian war has provided JN a nearly ideal environment within which to implement this strategy on behalf of al-Qaeda, and JN has enjoyed worrying success to date.”

Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa is now telling the West what it wants to hear, and the West is showing an inclination to believes him. The West will then enable him, as will Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and the Islamic ummah will continue its 1,400-year march of conquest. Open-door mass migration in the West, meanwhile, has ensured that in Europe there is now an army in waiting — including both lone wolves and jihadist cells.

Specifically, Islam is a Muslim Terrorist Ideology and Criminal Organization of discrimination, segregation, supremacy, genocide, polygamy, deceit, hatred, incitement, sedition, rape, terrorism, and violence against all Non-Muslims as taught in the Quran.

    Non-Muslims CANNOT have peace with Islam and its Muslims because Islam and its murderous god, Allah, demand a continuous, Muslim war against unbelievers since Non-Muslims are CRIMINALS under Islam where Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” HENCE, NON-MUSLIMS MUST MAKE ISLAM, ITS MOSQUES, ITS SCHOOLS, ITS ORGANIZATIONS, ETC. ILLEGAL UNDER THE LAW. Similarly, Islam and its many Organizations must be identified and declared to be a MUSLIM TERRORIST ORGANIZATION for their funding, teaching, and support of terrorism, violence, and discrimination against Non-Muslims.

    Allah in Islam demands SURRENDER which means ‘to Surrender, whether voluntarily or not, by becoming a Muslim’ while Submission, ‘to Submit’, is a voluntary act to follow the authority or control of another. Allah in Quran 49:14 says, “’The Bedouins said, ‘We believed.’ Say,’You did not believe. But say, ‘We surrender (became Muslim as a result of fear).’ And the faith has not entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and his messenger, he will not decrease anything from your works. Surely Allah is forgiving, merciful.’”

    Islam promotes a terroristic, Muslim war against unbelievers when Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with THEIR MONEY AND THEIR LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

I think that the new Trump administration needs to have another summit w/ the Saudis like the one in 2017, where it needs to remind them about the commitments made in 2017 to stop abetting jihad activity. Things like its agreements w/ Iran, Hamas, et al need to end. Also put pressure on Qatar to end its support for the muslim brotherhood, and do the same for Turkey
