Saudi Arabia tightly controls its news media outlets. Its encouragement of Hamas and venom toward Netanyahu during Israel’s defensive war against Hamas is consistent with ongoing Saudi policies. Normalization talk is based solely on the demand that Israel return to the pre-1967 borders, a.k.a. “the Auschwitz borders.”
Developments involving Saudi Arabia, prior to and after October 7:
“Editor Of Saudi Daily: The Resistance Is The One Holding The Cards In The Gaza War; It Must Remain Steadfast Until Victory Is Achieved; U.S. Should Arrest Netanyahu When He Comes To Visit,” MEMRI, June 6, 2024:
In a June 9, 2024 article, Khalid bin Hamad Al-Malik, editor-in-chief of the Saudi daily Al-Jazirah, wrote that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who is scheduled to address the U.S. Congress on June 24, 2024, is a murderer, terrorist and war criminal and that the U.S. should arrest him when he arrives instead of honoring and supporting him. Al-Malik also urged Hamas to remain rigid in the negotiations with Israel until it achieves victory, because “the resistance” is the one holding the cards, not the U.S. and not Israel, which is failing to achieve its goals in the war. Victory over Israel, he explained, means making a deal which will guarantee the release of Palestinian prisoners in return for the Israeli hostages, a permanent end to the war, the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from Gaza and the commencement of dialogue to implement the two-state solution.
“June 24, [2024] has been firmly set as the date on which Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will address the U.S. Congress. The invitation came in response to the decision of the International Court [of Justice] to issue an arrest warrant [for Netanyahu] as a war criminal who enabled a genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip…
“Logically speaking, the U.S. should capture Netanyahu and turn him in to face justice instead of welcoming him as a victor and shielding him from the punishment he deserves. But this is the U.S., which is far removed from [any inclination] to enforce the law on its criminal allies, especially Israel…
“In his speech Netanyahu will tell his usual lies and receive from America nothing but support for his crimes. He will present his war as self-defense against criminals and terrorists, when it is he who is the murderer, criminal, terrorist, occupier and aggressor…..

This criminal terrorist….one who supports the terror of hamas, is a terrorist….is the one who should be arrested, tried and put to the gallows if he ever steps foot in the U.S.

But I’m certain, somehistory, should this man want to visit America, even speak before Congress, people like AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Bernie Sanders, Adam Schiff, Jamaal Bowman, Gavin Newsom, Cackling Kamala and so many others from the Democratic Party (and yes I know that Sanders is not a Democrat but this is indeed a technicality) would have no problem with this and yet Benjamin Netanyahu is the culprit in the eyes of these malevolently foolish people who are becoming, by the year, more and more the face of the Democratic Party, a once patriotic party which has for anyone with sense and knowledge clearly turned traitorous. And the figure head for this now treasonous party is the addled and corrupt old fool, Joe Biden, arguably the most useful useful idiot in all of American history.
As the Democratic Party of the USA goes, so goes America. And why I want the Democratic Party to go downwards into complete oblivion. This Saudi turkey, this miscreant, is not the problem, not even for Israel, because an America with both major political parties fully behind Israel would, could, deal with this awful human being. Alas this is no longer the case as I have expostulated above.

Wellington, I have absolutely no doubt that you are correct. You’ve made the case and the jury doesn’t need to deliberate.

Yes it has.
Many Democrats of yesteryear were American patriots (e.g., JFK’s brave World War II service on the PT-109) are no longer.

Just more projection. Bad people regularly project a great deal, they don’t keep their word and they enjoy the suffering of others but howl when deserved retribution occurs upon them. It’s a kind of evil trinity.

Saudi Arabia, it’s not to trust as well, they turn everything around as they please
They deserve it to be on that day, umbrella of Iran and Qatar
We all thought that Mohammed bin Salman is a loyal and smart man, and knows what it is right and wrong
This is exactly what the Biden administration has wanted to destroy the Abraham accords
Well, if it is so easy, that one old senile man and his team can turn Mohammed bin Salman around like that he deserves what he will get from the Iranians
By the way, the Iranians hate the Arabs they see them as their servants
A Saudi newspaper will not write something like that against Prime Minister, Netanyahu, and Israel, without the agreement of the king

Since 9/11, we had looked the other way on Saudi Arabia and its tacit support to global jihad. Since MbS came along, things have improved slightly, be it them shutting down funding of global dawa activity, at least from the government and from Aramco, opening up their education to teach about other cultures & stop teaching hatred of non-muslims, & so on. To be fair, they’ve been pretty good about Israel during Trump, but if Biden is anti-Israel, it’s tough to expect Riyadh to have a less anti-Israel posture than DC
However, the basis on which we ignored their involvement in 9/11 – them ensuring that the US dollar remained the world’s reserve currency – now no longer exists. Last week, they announced that they’d allow the 50 year agreement, where they’d only sell oil in US dollars, to lapse. They’re now exploring other alternatives to that, be it certain CBDC platforms, individual currencies of major trading partners and so on. Which is their right – they get to choose how they wanna be paid. However, since they are no longer keeping the dollar where it is, it’s perfectly fair for any US govt – be it Biden or Trump – to reopen the issue of their involvement in 9/11, and start pressing them. At least that should force them to be less open to our enemies than, say, Israel

Yes, of course, those evil scum of the earth Koranimals from hamas, who showed what delightful types of human beings they are with the atrocities they committed back in October, have to win. The vermin from hamas showed themselves to be as evil as human beings can be back then and this Muslim piece of shit and all the other evil scum who support hamas demonstrate very clearly what subhuman vermin they are. Hopefully, all of hamas will be wiped off the face of the earth along with scum like this shithead who support hamas. There seem to be so many evil people around these days and supporting hamas is a good litmus test which shows that the supporter of hamas is a satanically evil piece of shit. Without a doubt, islam produces so many evil monsters who are a disgrace to the human race.
Wellington says
It’s gotten to the point, tg, that any Muslim in modern times—with all the information about Islam so readily available—but who is nonetheless actually a good person must be, no exception, a deeply confused and uninformed human being.
Put another way, it is impossible to be a good person and an informed Muslim. Might as well aver that someone can be a good person and an informed Nazi or an informed Marxist.
No way around this. None at all.
tim gallagher says
I agree, Wellington, it is weird that any Muslim could remain a Muslim because the content of islam is so evil in so many ways. I meet seemingly pleasant Muslims and i consider that to be some kind of miracle. I suppose such people are just Muslim in name only, maybe they don’t actually come into contact with the absolutely foul and evil and barbaric content of islam. That is the only way i can explain it. I agree that any “informed” Muslim, who knows the evil content of islam, the calls to kill non-Muslims, the child brides and all the other evil bullshit in islam, could not remain a Muslim and be a good person. I also put islam on the same level, morally, as nazism and mass murdering marxism. It is worrying that this barbaric, murderously violent load of shit called islam seems to be actually winning the war against civilisation. It is such primitive, evil crap that it should have died out long ago, but there it is and with the high rates of breeding by Muslims, islam could end up winning and dragging humanity back to the darkest of dark ages. It is staggering to see people, non-Muslim left wing fascists, supporting hamas. How anyone can support satanically evil hamas is beyond me.

Perfectly – and succinctly – stated.

I have had to face and sacrifice personally the deliberate refusal of my local Jewish community to the long announced, established and unchangeable teachings and practice of Islam. Make no mistake: I love what I learned in the Jewish community and will carry it with me. To me, this man deserves a prize for candor which if heard and recognized by the delusional people who dream that Islam is “The Religion of Peace” may see a reason to practice one of their own fundamental teachings: “ASK EVERY QUESTION REPEATEDLY because the answer will always be imperfect and tainted to some extent by error and deception.” This man is telling the truth about Islam and its never-ending war to conquer, murder and enslave the world. The First Mitzvah according to Rabbi Maimonides is based on the passage “Let There Be Life”, “All rules bend as necessary to preserve life” including my own.
Frank Anderson says
A BASIC rule of all problem solving is that the problem must be recognized and accepted before any effort is made to solve it. Failing to understand the unchangeable, unreformable, unmodifiable nature of Islam prevents Infidels from studying it to see just how vile are its teachings, practice and history. Islam is distinguished from MOST religions by its advocating war, slavery, looting, conquest and murder.
Dealing with any Islamic counterpart is just as futile and hopeless as Chamberlain, Daladier and Stalin dealing with Hitler. According to “The Perfect Man and Perfect Example for All Time” any promise made is temporary and only good as long as it gives advantage.
The Abraham Peace Accords are at best temporary and serve only to lull a false sense of security where none will exist as long as Islam exists. Islam teaches and practices death. That has not changed in 1400 years and will not change now or in the future. Islam gives Infidels 3 choices, “Convert, Submit to humiliation and slavery, Die.”
The fourth comes from God, “Resist”. From the event Exodus, it is taught that God does not want any of His Children (ALL who call upon Him as Father) to live under any form of tyranny or slavery.
James Lincoln says
Frank Anderson says,
“A BASIC rule of all problem solving is that the problem must be recognized and accepted before any effort is made to solve it.”
100% true.
One has to do a “root cause analysis” of the problem.
Without that, efforts to solve the problem are largely wasted.

On a lighter note I have sometimes wondered whether Israel has a backup plan to destroy the oil fields of Arabia. I wonder how difficult that would be and how long it would take. Would it take longer than when Israel destroyed the Egyptian Air Force on the ground in 1967?
