As Israel’s just war against Hamas in Gaza progresses, the Arab countries and Iran are unifying in support of the Palestinians. Muslim countries have not acknowledged the horrifying terrorism committed against Israel, but instead have accused Israel of “crimes and terrorism against the Palestinian people” in the latest summits of Arab and Islamic nations in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
Soon after the ISIS-like Hamas attack, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran blamed Israel for being an “occupier.” Islamic countries are now ganging up against the Jewish state at the UN. The final declaration of the summits of Arab and Islamic nations reject that Israel is acting in self defense, which is absurd on its face. The summit participants, which included Iran, “demanded that the United Nations Security Council adopt ‘a decisive and binding resolution’ to halt Israel’s ‘aggression.’”
Several Islamic nations however “rejected” a more hardline approach, which would have included a disruption in “oil supplies to Israel and its allies as well as severing the economic and diplomatic ties that some Arab League nations have with Israel.”
So while there is division on punitive action against Israel, which will have far reaching consequences across the board, there’s no disagreement about blaming and smearing Israel for defending itself, and calling for UN involvement, while exonerating Hamas and even the Palestinian Authority for its promotion of martyrdom.
Israel and other free societies are drastically different in values from Sharia-adherent countries, and the long established divide is increasingly apparent.

Meeting Saturday in the Saudi capital, Arab leaders and Iran’s president roundly condemned Israel’s actions in its war against the Hamas terror group in Gaza, accusing it of crimes and terrorism against the Palestinian people.
But the outcome of the summit also highlighted regional divisions over how to respond to the war, even as fears mount that it could draw in other countries.
The final declaration on Saturday rejected Israeli assertions that it is acting in self-defense and demanded that the United Nations Security Council adopt “a decisive and binding resolution” to halt Israel’s “aggression.” It also called for an end to weapons sales to Israel and dismissed out of hand any future political resolution to the conflict that would keep Gaza separate from the West Bank.
At the same time, several nations rejected a push to respond to the war by threatening to disrupt oil supplies to Israel and its allies as well as severing the economic and diplomatic ties that some Arab League nations have with Israel.
According to Israel’s Channel 12, the more hardline draft resolution would have called to prevent the transfer of US equipment to Israel from bases in Arab countries; called to freeze all diplomatic and economic ties with Israel; threatened to use oil as leverage to put pressure on Israel a la the 1972 oil embargo; prevented flights to and from Israel using Arab countries’ air space; and formed a joint mission to put pressure on Western nations for a ceasefire….

This article demonstrates among other things:
1. The Biden policy hamstringing U.S. oil and gas production is suicidal, as should have been obvious from the jump to all but the dead
2. Israel can never trust or rely upon ” moderate” neighbors, such as the KSA, for support, or for lasting, or even temporary peace deals. A corollary of this is for Israel to avoid, or at least be extremely wary of, entangling economic agreements with the likes of Bahrain, the Emirates, et al.
3. Israel can never hope to “normalize” relations with any Arab Muslim country; the best that can be achieved is an ice cold peace, where sullen hostility becomes the status quo, as opposed to active belligerence and threats of war being the policy of Israel’s local enemies.
4. Israel must finally come to understand that all Arab/Muslim countries are its enemy, and that the reason for this is Islam. Nothing will change this. Israeli officials speak of their plans to “de-radicalize” Gaza once Hamas is defeated. They do not discuss how this can be done. It cannot. This is wishful thinking, and complete nonsense.
5. There is only one course of action for Israel: to remain overpoweringly stronger militarily than its Muslim neighbors and other hostile actors that threaten her, most obviously Iran. For Israel, there must be unending vigilance, distrust and military superiority. And after 75 years of unending jihad, it is scandalous and distressing that so many in Israel still seem to be abysmally ignorant of Islam, and wilfully refuse to understand that it is Islam itself that is the basis for the hatred and bloodlust directed against it by its local enemies.
