The biggest mistake Israel ever made in its dealings with surrounding Muslim countries was to give up land for peace. Negotiations do not work with jihadists.
October 7 has expanded the “resistance” movement against Israel, which must protect its tiny land from obliteration.
The massive surrounding Muslim lands were taken by violent jihad, but yet Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq come out in condemnation of Israel.
On the very day of October 7, these countries also blamed Israel for the so-called “occupation.”
Saudi Arabia also issued the statement:
The assaults carried out by the Israeli occupation government, including the seizure of the buffer zone in the Golan Heights, and the targeting of Syrian territory confirm Israel’s continued violation of the principles of international law and its determination to sabotage Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity.
It is risible that Saudi Arabia would accuse Israel of “determination to sabotage Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity.” It’s most obvious that Israel seeks to protect its country. When jihadists lay down their weapons, only then will there be peace in the Middle East.
UN peacekeepers also accused Israel of violating the “1974 disengagement agreement.” Only Israel is required by the UN to play by strict rules even in the face of attack.
“Qatar, Saudi, Iran, Iraq condemn Israel’s ‘dangerous’ land grab in Syria,” Al Jazeera, December 9, 2024:
Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran have decried Israel’s seizure of land in Syria near the occupied Golan Heights as the Israeli military continues to launch air strikes across the country.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said on Monday that Doha considers the Israeli incursion “a dangerous development and a blatant attack on Syria’s sovereignty and unity as well as a flagrant violation of international law”.
“The policy of imposing a fait accompli pursued by the Israeli occupation, including its attempts to occupy Syrian territories, will lead the region to further violence and tension,” it added.
Israel started attacking Syria after the armed opposition in the country toppled the government of former President Bashar al-Assad early on Sunday.
Saudi Arabia slammed the Israeli moves on Monday, saying that they confirm “Israel’s continued violation of the rules of international law and its determination to sabotage Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity”.…

Memo to all these countries: how about aiming your ire at Turkey, which has so far occupied some 8000+ sq miles of territory in Northern Syria, including Idlib, and is bombing the Kurds? It’s not like Turkey is even your ally, as these countries stand to experience a repeat of Ottoman rule in case of the Arabs, and Seljuq rule in case of Iran

The only (Arab) leader that cared about the Kurds was Gaddafi. Most Arab leaders today are cowards who can not dare to say anything against Erdogan’s invasion and persecution of Kurds.

“Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity”.”
What ‘security and stability’? There has been none since about 2010…if then.
The thugs in charge of any kind of ‘government’ which might work on such things, are saying that next they are going to take over Jerusalem. Their threats to go to Israel, fight for gaza, and then on to saudi arabia, don’t sound like they are much interested in “Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity”.
And the thugs at al jezeera, and in those nations complaining, don’t really care either. They are simply against anything done by, or for, Israel.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, was Israel tut. Wären ja auch blöd, die Fehler der Vergangenheit zu wiederholen. Das Bashing der üblichen Verdächtigen gegen Israel ist so irrelevant, wie der umfallende Sack Reis in China.

The Middle East is a mess so send them more American tax dollars to help them out. Problem is we don’t really know who we are helping. Besides you can’t buy friends.

Let us remember that the Golan Heights was originally intended as part of the Jewish homeland – to- be. It was ripped off by the Brits and French to create an artificial puppet state, just as Transjordan, originally intended as about 75% of the Jewish homeland, was ripped off by the Brits to serve as a puppet state..
