No one in the West hears about demands from Hindus, Buddhists, Jews or any other religion in every public institution. Such demands come from Muslims, so the establishment — particularly the woke — succumbs at every turn. The accommodation has gone to such an extreme in Britain that now little girls are being discovered in forced marriages, just as in Islamic countries. In September, at least 100 girls 12 and under were flagged as forced-marriage victims, 27 of those were under the age of five years old.
This is as sick as it gets, but it does not stop the woke from surrendering to Islam. They abandon human rights under Britain’s uncodified Constitution and rule of law, because they are driven by hatred of the West, even when the cost is the sacrifice of girls and women to the horror of child marriage. This was also clearly evident in the rape gang scandal and massive systemic coverups in Britain.
Now, the same mentality of open acceptance of ruinous leftists has spread to the traditional St. Andrews University, which will gradually erode order, as beloved tradition fades into the background.
Without adequate pushback, the university is doomed, just like Britain as a whole, as it continues to succumb to the twin corrosive forces of the red/green alliance.

A leading British university has told its students to snub a centuries-old tradition to accommodate foreign students.
The University of St Andrews, founded more than six centuries ago, issued a style guide banning the use of Scottish terminology by students because it “may be unfamiliar” to international audiences.
Instead of using “traditional St Andrews terms” to refer to students in specific years, undergraduates are instructed to describe themselves as first-year students or second-year student and so on – just like every other university.
But, at the centuries-old institution, tradition dictates that first-years are known as bejantes and second-years are known as Semis.
Meanwhile, a student in their third year would be a Tertian, and those in their final years would be a Magistrand.
The terms are not to be used “unless the historical or ceremonial term is directly relevant”.
The style guide adds that, if students need to include the traditional term, they must explain it in “plain English” on its first use.
The Conservative peer told GB News: “Surely, the reason international students flock to St Andrew’s is because they love all the quirky, eccentric traditions.
“It’s like Hogwarts for young adults.
“If you strip away all these traditions, it will lose its charm. You might as well call it St Andrew’s Polly and have done with it.”….
…the university boasts that it is a “beacon of inclusivity” due to being a world-class and “truly international” institution.
Last week, the University of Oxford advised staff to ditch everyday expressions such as “learn the ropes” and “find your feet”, warning they could confuse international students….

I remember back in 2004, I think it was, when the Brits recommended that native Brits not stare directly into the faces of those new immigrants from the middle east and africa, as this was considered impolite in their cultures. What this was, in fact, was the belief that non muslims ought to lower their heads and not assert their equality by looking directly at them but rather, lower their gaze. What a pitiful state Britain is in. Strength of character has evaporated. As in Canada the leadership is astoundingly poor, characterized by weakness. Without leadership qualities and backbone, Britons simply surrender everything to worthless Muslims who display the intellect of a slug. One cannot accuse them of having brains, yet through belligerence and aggression they get their way.
