By now it should be well known that the Palestinian cause is the central cause of the Muslim ummah. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) wants East Jerusalem as a Palestinian capital, and they also want Palestinian control of the strategically advantageous Judea and Samaria which would enable jihadists to wipe Israel off the map. Israel is absent from official Palestinian maps, as well as from maps that the OIC uses.
Indonesia’s top Muslim council, the Ulema Council, which is careful to keep its policies aligned with those of the ummah worldwide, fiercely opposes Israel, and thus, Andrea Bocelli, who is a supporter of Israel, also.
Bocelli was also opposed by the Jordanian Et’harrak anti-normalization group, which urged a boycott and cancellation of Bocelli’s November 27 concert at the Petra Cultural Village.
Indonesia has agreed with its Ulema Council’s demands, and police have pulled the concert permit, but so far Bocelli’s concert is still scheduled in Jordan. As Jihad Watch has previously reported, the situation is similar in Jordan.

“Indonesia’s top Muslim council opposes upcoming Andrea Bocelli concerts over Israel ties,” by Niniek Karmini, Associated Press, October 14, 2026:
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesia’s top Islamic council met with government officials Wednesday to voice its opposition to two upcoming concerts by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, arguing that the singer’s past support for Israel is incompatible with the views of many in the Muslim-majority country.
The Indonesian Ulema Council, or MUI, the country’s highest and most influential body of Islamic scholars, demanded the cancellation of Bocelli’s scheduled performances at the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple in Central Java’s Magelang city on Oct. 31 and in the capital Jakarta on Nov. 3.
The council, which initially announced its opposition on Oct. 10, met with Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism to discuss Bocelli’s Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour Indonesia, including the Borobudur performance at one of Indonesia’s most iconic historical sites.
The council said its objection is in response to Bocelli’s past support for Israel, including his participation in a 2010 fundraiser in Los Angeles for the Israel Defense Forces and a 2022 concert in Tel Aviv….

We can always hope for inclement weather. News of this sort reduces my interest in helping Indonesia in times of hardship. These people deserve what they get… in spades… The hate emanating from the Islamic word is simply disgusting. When I hear about troubles in Indonesia, the first thing that I will think about is their hate of Israel and Jews. There won’t be a second thing, except perhaps a covert nod of recognition.

“no one can buy or sell if refusing to worship the “wild beast and its image.”‘
This includes buying tickets for a concert, or singing and getting paid to sing. the “beast” disapproves of people who support Israel, because the “beast” sees Israel as a great enemy and wishes to devour its enemy.
