In Canada, what the National Association of Christian Lawmakers is really presenting to Trump is an escape from the persecution of Jews in Canada.

The National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) sent the request to Trump on Thursday, asking his administration to use existing refugee, humanitarian, and visa authorities while maintaining US security and admissibility requirements.
The letter said more than 2,000 Jewish Canadians have expressed interest in moving because of safety concerns. It cited harassment, vandalism, intimidation, threats, and violence targeting Jewish schools, synagogues, businesses, institutions, and families since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks.
NACL asked President Trump to direct the State Department and Department of Homeland Security to develop a process for Jewish Canadian nationals and immediate family members who face persecution or can credibly demonstrate fears based on their Jewish identity or faith….

Honestly, I think God allows this for them to go to Israel, not america. Israel today is 7.3 million Jews and 75% of all Jewish babies born. Despite war, Israels economy is much stronger than america but is hard as gas comes out to 11 dollars a gallon now but distances are shorter to drive. Mamdani is to get Jews and real christians to exit n.y. before the mushroom cloud comes. Sadly most n.y. Jews head to Florida but desantis soon will be gone by term limits and yes, Florida could go blue green faster than most think.

The western world in particular has a lot to thank the Jews for. Their contribution in science, medicine, technology, etc, are enormous, even our culture and way of life are based on Judeo Christian values. No other race has ever been persecuted the way the Jews have, so I do hope Trump opens the door for them.

Islam understands all the sides very well, and will continue to expand. Worst case scenario, Trump came in and banned Islamic migration. Yesterday, while watching Armin’s show, I saw a guy who’s a Jewish American say that he was nervous about the fate of Jews in this country thanks to both the DSA-CAIR mob as well as the Isolationist Right (the Tucker hordes) in this country. Armin gave him a 2 sided answer: “Right now, if I were Jewish, and especially if I had a family – wife & kids, I’d definitely move to Israel. But I am hesitant to advise that b’cos America is the greatest nation and definitely worth fighting for. Over the long term, I think that the next 250 years will be even greater than the last 250, but in the short term, things will get worse before they get better. Since it’s this short term that I’d be living in, rather than the long, I’d definitely go to Israel if I were in your situation”
Even in the past, from other people, I have seen both sides of similar arguments. For instance, w/ Bangladesh Hindus, I’ve seen them being urged to flee to a safer country for Hindus like India. But then within India, there are also muslim pockets where Hindus flee from. The argument is then made that the more places Hindus retreat from, the more muslim they become, ultimately contributing to the islamization of that place. That place then turns into a dump, and muslims keep moving to other places. That way, they’d soon be everywhere and there’d be nowhere left to flee
I agree w/ you – secular entities are bad everywhere – except in muslim countries, where the alternative is worse. Like I support Iran becoming secular, since that’s the alternative to the islamic republic, but I’m completely opposed to that happening to Israel, India, Russia & other such a places

I totally can see a complete 180 in Israel, sanctions and Palestine recognition. Also a green light to Turkey Iran etc to gang up on Israel and the radical left leader would turn a blind eye, sell weapons to Turkey under the guise of NATO.

I see both sides of an argument here. If it was just islam that Canadian Jews/Christians/Hindus were fighting, you’d be absolutely right! But it’s not just islam: it’s also the secular Left that they are fighting, which is somewhere b/w the Dems and the DSA on the Leftometer. That one outnumbers Rightists and Centrists something like 7:3, making it practically impossible
That said, like in your above post, if we retreat from everywhere, then where will we be finally left to live?
