A prominent Shi’ite cleric in Michigan celebrated the death of Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham and asked worshippers to pray for US President Donald Trump’s death, later urging Muslims to elect Abdul El-Sayed, who last week won the Democratic nomination for the state’s Senate seat.
Mohammad Baqer Qazwini made the remarks during a July 17 Friday sermon at the Islamic Institute of America in Dearborn Heights, according to footage published Friday by the Middle East Media Research Institute. MEMRI identified the original source as the institute’s YouTube channel. The remarks in the clip were delivered in English.
Qazwini told worshippers he had awakened to “very good news” following Graham’s death and that Allah had taken the senator’s soul to hell.
He blamed Graham for what he called the “genocide in Gaza” and for the deaths of civilians in Lebanon, and he described the senator’s death as “a slap” from Allah that Graham had not anticipated.
Qazwini then turned to Trump.

I agree, Patton. The Founding Fathers of America were far-seeing men but even they did not take into account the potential menace of Islam. Thomas Jefferson is the one exception here but he was in France as our Minister (called that then rather than Ambassador) while the Constitutional Convention was going on in the Summer of 1787 and he was not, to my knowledge, involved in any extensive way in the construction of the First Ten Amendments which became part of the Constitution in 1791.
It was our sixth President, John Quincy Adams, who truly grasped the iniquity of Islam but he was not of course a Founding Father but “merely” the son of one, the great John Adams. No President, not even Jefferson, has understood the malevolence of Islam better than Quincy Adams. In any case, you are eminently correct in asserting that Muslims will parasitically take advantage of the First Amendment and so much else of the Constitution in order to destroy the First Amendment and the Constitution. Deeply unfortunately, much of America still remains asleep and a significant portion of America (read the Left here) are asinine enough to actually facilitate Islam’s many nefarious and destructive designs upon America.

Many colonists came to the colonies in search of a place where they could practice their faith. This was a key point of contention that the new land offered a possibility to relieve. Next was to be able to defend yourself which grew to a new height of importance given the physical circumstances. Why the colonists all assembled at the new Congress and demanded Amendments be added to the new document. Congress had little choice given they were being confronted with the soldiers who fought the revolutionary war!

The Koran does indeed have many passages which serve as ipso facto proof that basic civil liberties here in America are in jeopardy if Islam gets its way. But then so does the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf, both of which, like the Koran, are perfectly legal to publish and own as well as accepting the vile and stupid principles found in such texts.
What is key is to realize that iniquitous belief systems are protected under the Constitution where belief itself is concerned but this so very often does not apply to actions taken in fulfillment of such beliefs. This is key to grasp and why an optimally informed public is a major safeguard of major liberties. Not there yet with Islam and, I fear, not even with Marxism.
