Last December, The Hill reported that more Muslim candidates were seeking office as the “Mamdani effect” took hold. Two months ago, the New Arab reported that “across the US, Muslims are running in the 2026 midterms at the federal, state and local levels.” But what these candidates are standing for requires scrutiny. The spotlight is now on Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. “Socialist-backed Michigan Senate hopeful calls American politics a ‘disease’ after professing love for US,” by Bonny Chu, Fox News, July 2025, 2026:
Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed on Sunday described America’s political system as a “disease” moments after professing his love for the country where he was raised.
El-Sayed delivered blistering attacks on the American political system during the final stop of “The People v. The Powerful” tour at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids.
He spoke at the event alongside Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., as the trio criticized President Donald Trump, party leaders, corporations and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The Egyptian American physician and former public health official first reflected on the opportunities he said America had afforded him, noting he received an “incredible” public university education and a medical education funded through the National Institutes of Health.
“No, don’t get it twisted. I love America. I know exactly what America gave to me. I know what my life would have been, but for America,” El-Sayed said. “I know what America can do, and at the same time, it’s impossible not to reflect on the worst moments of those 250 years as well.”
He then argued that Trump was merely a symptom of broader problems in American politics.
“Donald Trump is not, himself, the disease of our politics. He’s just the worst symptom of the disease of our politics,” El-Sayed said….
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also claimed that El-Sayed “represents the politics of the future” for America.
Democrats have historically supported big government and big spending, but today, the red-green alliance is a powerful factor as American values stand in the balance. Islam is an expansionary religion, and everywhere in the world where Muslim populations increase, so do systematic challenges to the value system of that region.
In the West, Islamic supremacists latch themselves onto DEI drives and the leftists who assist them. Demands become excessive, as is seen routinely in America today. These include demands for the disruptive Muslim call to prayer over loudspeakers and assaults on freedom of expression from Muslim special interest groups such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR); if one scrutinizes Islam as one would any other religion or doctrine, one is labeled an “Islamophobe.” Other demands include calls for special privileges such as a certified halal school meals program in the public school system; demands to formally add Eid to academic calendars; and dedicated quiet spaces during Ramadan; as well as for disruptive public prayer. And, of course, antisemitism is on the rise, heavily promulgated through advocacy of the disruptive and hateful Palestinian “resistance.”
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) declared the Palestinian cause the “central cause” of the Muslim ummah, and this was posted on the United Nations website. To the OIC, that “central cause” takes precedence over loyalty to the U.S. or any other country. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has shown up his adherence to it (see also HERE), and it’s obvious where El-Sayed’s loyalties lie. As he described America’s political system as a “disease,” he also stated:
The disease? It’s the system that allows corporations and billionaires and special interests like AIPAC to buy and sell politicians to rig the system against us.”
He just had to slip APAIC in there. Like a moth drawn to a flame, Muslim leaders fly straight to that “central cause” of the Muslim ummah: the Palestinians, or more accurately, the Palestinian jihad against Israel and Jews. Abdul El-Sayed won’t even condemn the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, because he doesn’t want to rattle his Muslim base.
Jake Tapper just pressed Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed over his REFUSAL to comment on the death of Iran’s Ayatollah.
El-Sayed immediately tried to pivot away from the question, but Tapper wasn’t letting him off the hook.

El-Sayed’s refusal to condemn the all-time savage antisemite Khamenei, who hailed young American antisemites for their being “part of the resistance front” on campus, shows up his priorities. He and every potential Muslim leader also need to be exposed for their views about the “resistance” chant: “from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free”, which is outlawed in many countries.
The “central cause” to the Muslim ummah is an all-encompassing one, and leftists have largely joined it. Do Muslim leaders and potential ones such as El-Sayed stand for America first or for the Muslim ummah first?

Why not find out who funds these Muslim nihilists? They are the real disease.

Can’t do that, it would be islamophobia. Just don’t vote for this Islamic jihadist.

I’ll root for Hayley Stevens in the MI (D) primary. Republicans should vote in that (D) primary for her. In the General, they can vote for Mike Rogers, the GOP candidate, even though he’s pretty mediocre
There’s no need to make el Sayed the face of the Democrat party in the state this November, particularly given the (D) record in Senate elections in the state. The only GOP victory has been Trump’s, but otherwise, Dems have just been running away w/ every other race that counts

Islam is the disease and it’s adherents are parasites. We need a cure not a coverup.
