Finally! “Indiana Lt. Governor Calls for Ban on Mosques Broadcasting Call to Prayer Over Loudspeakers,” Twitchy, July 11, 2026:
Last October, Mehdi Hasan argued that if American Christians are allowed to ring church bells, then mosques have the right to blare the Islamic call to prayer over loudspeakers, starting at sunrise. Indiana Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith says the media was all over him on Friday, asking for comment on his call to ban mosques from playing the call to prayer over loudspeakers five times a day. Then, to clear things up, he gave his official response…
I’ve received multiple media requests today asking for comment on my recent call to ban mosques in America from blaring the Muslim call to prayer through loudspeakers 5 times a day across our cities.
Just to save time, here’s my official response:
Yes, I 100% want to ban…

As expected, activist CAIR with its Hamas links resorted to its default name-calling of “anti-Muslim” (aka “Islamophobic”), but this time, the group added the label “Christian supremacist” to describe Beckwith.
But who’s the real supremacist? The adhan is a disruptive bellowing that awakens neighborhoods in the wee hours of the morning and interrupts business at other times of the day. It is a public summons to ensure that every Muslim (and non-Muslim) can hear it. It noisily declares Allah’s supremacy over all other deities.
The adhan isn’t by any stretch of the imagination similar to church bells, which are not remotely disruptive and do not proclaim Christianity’s superiority to other religions. How anyone could make that comparison is peculiar.
This X post exposes the supremacist goal of pro-adhan activists:
Thank you!
Muslim call to prayer was used when there was no other channel.
Nowadays, every Muslim has a mobile phone. Easy to ping every Muslim directly.
Call to prayer now serves as psychological warfare on non-Muslims.

Even in Saudi Arabia, “families had been complaining that competing speakers were keeping their children awake.” And so Saudi Arabia defended an order in 2021 to turn down the volume of the adhan. So why should the West put up with it in the name of DEI?

Good for Mr. Beckwith. And good for the post on X. some people are actually understanding what it’s all about.
Stand your ground, Governor. Investigate cair in your State. Make them shake in their boots.
Church bells could be used regarding muzzlims….cair included….as they were used in the movie “The Magnificent Seven” to warn the villagers that the murderous thugs are coming. In fact, they are here.

Nothing weakens Christianity like nonobservance. Church bells are a call to remembrance as much as church attendance. Why not join in an organization of Christian churches in Indiana and set up a schedule to ring bells on the hour, say, ring out the hour? They might find a few latent members and others coming to church.
Then when Muslims complain about it and suggest that Christians know what time it is from their cell phones, Christians can reply, “Yes, and you know when Muslim prayer times are from yours!”
The more I think about it the more it makes sense to not shrink from notice like the Amish who don’t even construct a church. Revitalize. There is a generation of young people, many lost and insecure, who are going to weather a life of instability and loneliness without some beneficial plan for life.
What’s that word Protestants use? Revival, yeah, it’s time for Revival in Indiana. Haven’t we had enough of complicated tech, binge streaming, glutony, weak relationships, and supporting causes that sow violence and solve nothing?
Scientists don’t have an answer for the purpose of life – those folks who hit a dead end with Quarks, the unexpected statistical foundation of quanta, and the limit of astronomical distance – and discovered how to make nuclear bombs and cancer-causing chemicals along the way.
When I see how people behave at sporting events I realize that Christian churches can’t survive in the modern era without a common cause, larger than themselves, generating enthusiasm.

CAIR has a right to be enraged! After all, Muslims are to follow the path of their Prophet Mohammed, and it is clearly written in the Hadiths that in the 7th century, Mohammed climbed the tallest hills and called the faithful to prayer using a U.S. Army surplus loudspeaker.
