The West needs to take note of a growing threat that could in the longterm prove to be equal to or worse than the threat of the Islamic Republic of Iran. “Pakistan Asks Muslim Nations To Join ‘Islamic NATO,’” NDTV, August 10, 2026:
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has called for Islamic nations to set aside their differences and join Islamabad’s defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey to form a military alliance along the lines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). Talking to Geo News, Asif said the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement shouldn’t be an ‘exclusive club’ and urged Islamic nations to put their difference aside and join the pact.
“The doors really cannot be closed to other countries. This should not be an exclusive club — this is my personal opinion. It should expand,” Asif said.
“I think that, along the lines of NATO, Muslim countries should put their own differences aside–the transactional issues or bilateral disputes they have with one another — and stand together on this one platform,” he added.
The Pact
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed the “Mecca Joint Defence Agreement” on Friday, in what analysts belive could weave a new security architecture in the region.
Alarmed at a regional conflagration that has brought Iranian missile fire onto Gulf oil exporters, the three countries seek to deepen security cooperation amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran.
The new defence pact builds on a previous agreement signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia a year ago, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan claiming it is technically the same as NATO’s Article 5 mutual defence agreement…
As with NATO, a central feature of the new pact between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey stipulates that “an attack on any one of the three states would be treated as an attack on all of them.”
Pakistan is the world’s primary enforcer of Islamic blasphemy laws. It’s a state sponsor of terrorism, holds an estimated 170 nuclear warheads, and is steadily modernizing its arsenal. Its longest-range operational missile is the Shaheen 3, which can hit targets up to 1,709 miles. Saudi Arabia is the location of Mecca and Medina, Islam’s holiest cities. Turkey is “the new Iran,” a Muslim Brotherhood-supporting nation with revanchist aims. Recently, Greek MEP Afroditi Latinopoulou rightly warned that “pretending Turkey is still a reliable ally is not a strategy. It is dangerous self-delusion.”
The new “Islamic NATO” is a Sunni powerhouse in the making, and could be a catastrophic development for the interests of America (and more broadly the West), as well as of Israel. It is a reshuffling and renewed Islamic alliance on the global front, rivaling Iran’s now-broken “Shia Crescent.” Magnifying the threat it could pose, paradoxically, is its effort to appear much less threatening than the Islamic Republic of Iran; it eschews Iran’s brazenly aggressive and defiant rhetoric. Thus the West will be inclined to lower its guard.
Consider, for instance, the fact that the West has embraced the most dangerous member of the pact, Turkey, and even worse, is strengthening it militarily. Turkey is a member of NATO, which itself appears to take no issue with Turkey also becoming a member of “Islamic NATO,” or with its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s aim to revive the Ottoman Empire, with himself as caliph.
The new Mecca Joint Defence Agreement and the West’s apathetic approach to it is yet another example (like embracing Turkey) of how gullible the West is in its approach to anything relating to Islam. As such, Islamic supremacists frequently exploit the West, an exploitation which includes an invasion of its territories by Sharia-pushing Muslims and Muslim so-called “human rights” and advocacy groups everywhere. Many such prominent groups were deemed unindicted co-conspirators for their involvement in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding case. The West underestimates Islam’s 1400 years of history; its lack of knowledge about Islam’s doctrine and goals will be the West’s downfall, unless a change comes rapidly in whatever window of time remains.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is being outmaneuvered as it hyper-focuses on a diplomatic solution with Iran, which could never hold, while embracing Turkey and believing that Saudi Arabia is a loyal partner in its battle with Iran. In the longterm, key Muslim countries are loyal only to Islam, despite internal squabbles which have seen Muslims killing Muslims in large numbers throughout Islam’s history. Throughout that history, Muslims have maintained an unrelenting pursuit of expansion of territory, and have been largely successful. The jihad is enduring, both stealth and violent, as evidenced throughout the West now, as well as in Israel, throughout Africa, in India, and elsewhere, and somehow, its proponents managed to largely turn the world against the victim Israel after October 7.
An analyst with the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security has already suggested that Israel, which stands on the frontlines of the global jihad, should brace itself and pursue “two parallel axes: its existing Mediterranean alliance with Greece and Cyprus, and a new counter pact with the United Arab Emirates and India.” America and other Western countries will do well to form strategic alliances as well that do not give threatening Islamic countries the upper hand.
The biggest problem for America and the West now isn’t only Iran, but Iran and the new Islamic NATO, with its indication of increasing Turkish aggressiveness. Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif calling for “Islamic nations to set aside their differences and join Islamabad’s defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey” is a brilliant strategy, and a setup against the West, which risks yet again being duped.
On 7 August, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan announced the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, marking a development in defence cooperation among the three countries.

There is no negotiating with infidels in Islam, only exploitation and opportunism. Islam is no friend to the West, and can never be.

Islam is a dung heap and Pakistan is the very bottom of that dung heap!

Turkey and the 50+ Islamic Countries are Terrorist States against all Non-Muslims with Muslim discrimination, deceit, violence, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law and in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 41, 111; 49:15, etc.). Genocidal Allah in Qur’an 8:39 commands, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” Ultimately, Allah desires to fill hell with Non-Muslims(Qur’an 7:18; 11:119; 32:13; 98:6, etc.).

Muslims will cooperate with western globalists to achieve their aims. Western leaders thought they could use mass migration to solidify their power in the West. They and we will be destroyed by their craving for power. They thought they were using Muslims, but the Islamists have more desire to win than do our leaders.
From a VIP column in PJ Media:
Angela Merkel was always trying to bring Soviet-style revolution to Germany, and she wanted to use foreigners with no history of freedom and First World civilization to help her. Her views are those of globalists and Islamists across Europe and America. From Keir Starmer to Zohran Mamdani, from Emmanuel Macron to Abdul El-Sayed, leftist politicians are deliberately engaging in population replacement and demographic upheaval.

This could be what finally unites the West against Islam, call it the 10th Holy Crusade. Bring it on.

This new alliance is a joke. Saudi Arabia formed it w/ Turkey & Pakistan, and a day after it, got attacked by the Houthis. But neither Turkey nor Pakistan sent any actual military support – the reason that Riyadh signed on to this in the first place
Once this Iran saga is over, I expect the MbS leadership to tell its people, “Look, this is the support we get from the ummah. We have no reason to prefer them over the Zionists”

Pakistan Invites Muslim Nations to Join the New ‘Islamic NATO’
……………………………………..
No one is threatening these nations–save perhaps the equally Islamic Iran. But this is not called the “Sunni NATO”–but Islamic NATO. So it is aimed against civilized Infidels–it is nothing like NATO.
