See the following recent headlines on Jihad Watch, which justify President Herzog’s accusations against Mamdani:
End Jew Hatred movement formally petitions Hochul to remove Mamdani over latest NYC jihad attack
NYC Islamic Terror Attacks Up 243% Under Mamdani
Families of 9/11 Victims Petition to Exclude Mamdani From Participating in 25th Year Memorial Events
Antisemitism will only escalate under Mamdani, as well as anti-American sentiment and a strengthening of the red-green axis.
As Mamdani accuses Israel of genocide and America of funding it, he has offered absolutely no solution on what Israel could possibly do to secure its nation from obliteration, given the real Palestinian goal of genocide against it, as documented in the Palestinian National Covenant. That Covenant states that Zionism and the establishment of the state of Israel are:
…entirely illegal, regardless of the passage of time, because they were contrary to the will of the Palestinian people and to their natural right in their homeland…Israel is the instrument of the Zionist movement, and geographical base for world imperialism placed strategically in the midst of the Arab homeland to combat the hopes of the Arab nation for liberation, unity, and progress. Israel is a constant source of threat vis-a-vis peace in the Middle East and the whole world. Since the liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East…
Jihadists hide weaponry in heavily populated areas, so what is Israel to do? Let jihadists obliterate it? Not one of Israel’s critics have given a valid answer.
“Exclusive: Israeli President Herzog blasts Mamdani, praises Trump, sounds alarm on Iran,” by Amelie Botbol, Fox News, August 1, 2026:
JERUSALEM, Israel — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is spreading hateful and antisemitic rhetoric and endangering the lives of New Yorkers, Israeli President Isaac Herzog told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview at his Jerusalem residence.
“Mamdani does not respect my nation’s right for self-determination … the Jewish people’s inherent right to have a nation of their own. And he’s basically spreading blasphemy, hate, antisemitic rhetoric. He should understand that he’s risking his own citizens. He’s risking their safety, well-being and life,” Herzog said.
In an incident that drew global attention, Mamdani posted a video on social media July 21 in which he called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “a war criminal” and “the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people.”
“This cannot be accepted in New York, which is a city which is dear to our heart, dear to the Israelis and dear to me personally,” Herzog said.
“I think New York will continue way after Mamdani. And I hope he won’t create an irreversible damage.”
On Iran, Herzog said the regime has for decades posed a strategic threat to global stability and not only to Israel and the Middle East.
“They take their people’s food and money and spend it on terror all over the world. It’s a given fact,” he said. “You ask yourself why a nation of this nature wants to have so much terror activity around the world, and that is because of ideology. … The ideology does not accommodate any other religion or moderate Islam, for that matter. That is why it is so dangerous.”….

Why is Herzog even mentioning? Mamdani? By doing so, he is implicitly acknowledging that Mamdani’s opinion and words matter. Mamdani is a nothing, whose words and actions shpuld matter only to the people of NYC and perhaps the surrounding suburbs.
And of course they should matter to The State Department when Mamdani’s threatens the security of a foreign head of state, who was invited to the US by Trump.
Herzog is giving Mamdani’s an international soapbox by even acknowledging him.

Fully agree. Also everybody worldwide – including here – are giving Mamdani more importance and attention than he deserves. He may be the mayor of the world’s largest city, but that’s all he is. His views on anything – from the Balestinians to the Koh-i-Noor diamond are worthless and irrelevant
Out here, I tend to ignore Mamdani stories, and only respond to comments of other people when at all. Similarly, I bought 3 of Spencer’s last 4 books – excluding the Mamdani one, since I’m not a New Yorker and so what he says or does is irrelevant to me. What’s more important is watching the DSA take over the Democrat Party – that’s the trend to watch out for

“Mamdani does not respect my nation’s right for self-determination..”
He doesn’t respect any nation’s rights to govern under a democratic, free-enterprise system. The man is beyond socialist, a communist where government owns the means of production and dictates to the citizens while claiming it is for their own good.
Mamdani intends to experiment with NYC but his ideas can’t achieve practice without an enforcement arm. Look at his government grocery “business”. It can’t work unless he can stop actual grocery chains and bodegas from leaving AND stop the actual cause of the “food desert” crisis – five-finger discounts, stealing by the very people for which he is creating the government supermarkets.
The man is ambitious, trying to get more support from lefties, struggling young adults, and Muslims by criticizing Israel. His intent is to create a communist revolution in the US. He is the modern Fidel Castro.
