Abdul El-Sayed has embraced infamous antisemite Hasan Piker, a popular social media influencer, to increase his younger voter base, especially with Muslims, among whom he’s most popular. Piker has said: “If Jews in America keep putting this idea out there that they are singularly invested in Israel, eventually someone is going to come around and take action, not against the state of Israel mind you, but against American Jews.” Piker has also called Orthodox Jews “inbred,” has likened Zionism to Nazism and supports Hamas. A commentary in Detroit News noted that “It’s right to judge Abdul El-Sayed by the company he keeps.”
Now El-Sayed is trying to distance himself from Piker because of the fallout.
Abdul El-Sayed has also called the U.S. political system a “disease,” and slammed “special interests like AIPAC.” According to a Fox News report, El-Sayed’s campaign collected over $115,000 “from individuals who work for or have held leadership roles with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR),” an organization with Hamas links.

I thought that these elected officials of ours were supposed to be leaders and people who can think and speak for themselves. But as soon as they get elected they find themselves under control of the party leadership. You either fallow party rules or you become an outcast from party support for reelection and even find yourself in the basement office. And sadly most of our elected officials don’t have the guts to stand up for the people they are elected to represent.

That is a weak statement by congressman Gottheimer. He should say ‘never ever’ will that guy get my support.
Men who talk like Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed and associate with those like Hasan Piker cannot be trusted to disavow their past comments and associations of such magnitude.

Dem candidate in Michigan Hillary Scholten is far better. She has told people she won’t put her name on campaign literature with Abdul El-Sayed. She also said that doesn’t want to be a part of a “unified campaign” with El-Sayed
Much as I admire her, I wonder how much of it is a lost cause?

Well, in your state, candidate Hillary Scholten (D-MI) has announced that she won’t put her name on campaign literature w/ El-Sayed, and also stated that she doesn’t want to be a part of any “unified campaign” w/ him
She may be pandering to Jews, but she’s also writing off the DSA vote. I do hope that she wins, even though I rarely root for a Dem

I don’t think there is a lot of jews in that area of Michigan compared to Rashida Talab.
I think never trumper weakly Peter meijer had that district but the democrats took it back. Very few Muslims and Jews over there. The Muslims and Jews are mostly packed into one stupid district here.
God cursed me and put me in this Talab district. We can’t shake this Palestinian pig.
The Palestinians aren’t in Dearborn, some are. But most are in Lincoln Park. And I’m not sure they’re with Talabs district. It maybe changed with re districting.
I pray they cut us loose because I’m on the edge of the district.

Political Islam is here. We have to adjust correctly to this new reality and game plan how it could possibly benefit us if we message to the people like we should.
I’m trying to stay optimistic. I am thinking the Islamists are going to take seats that we’re going to be demon rat anyway. So it doesn’t change much, but it could even benefit republicans because we could scare voters into making these races tighter if we can shave points off these Muslims we couldn’t shave off other demon rats.
I’m trying to find a way to be more optimistic. Lots of these Muslims are citizens and having large families who will be in line to vote soon. I don’t know what we can do. Freedom of religion.
