Outrage grows over Qur’ans, hijab distribution at Texas school, school opposes ‘Bible revival’

The controversy that erupted from the February story revealing that a Muslim group at a public high school in Texas gave out hijabs, Qur’ans and pamphlets touting the glories of Sharia has not died down.

According to CBS News at the time, “in a viral video, the president of the school’s Republican Club describes what he saw: ‘They were giving out hijabs to girls throughout the high school, and they were giving our Qurans, and they also had pamphlets about Sharia law.'”

The story has gained momentum, to the horror of the school’s administration, which undoubtedly never expected the story to be in the news three months later. In response to the bizarre Islamic proselytizing, a “Bible revival” began, as the school tried in vain to quash it. As Robert Spencer wrote: “People are beginning to be aware of what is happening, and to fight back to defend their own culture and heritage. Only in the West is such an action ‘Islamophobia’ and ‘bigotry’; everywhere else, people defending their own culture are celebrated.”

Wylie Independent School District has claimed after the passing out of hijabs and Qur’ans that it “does not allow the distribution of any religious materials to students.” The principal, Tiffany Doolan, also admitted that it “should not have happened”; yet it did happen, and witnesses establish that passing around the hijabs and Qurans could have been stopped at any time, but intentionally was not.

What is striking is Tiffany Doolan’s admission that while “mistakes” were made, “and it happened on” her watch, she declares that she now “owes” it to everyone to “learn from this moment and to move forward with the kind of leadership and accountability this community deserves.” This is her and the school’s way of blocking Bibles, while preferring Qur’ans. An excerpt from an email that Wylie ISD Superintendent Kim Spicer sent to parents:

district procedures regarding outside groups, visitors, and the distribution of non-school materials on campus will be followed. Any distribution of materials must remain off school property, and if needed, district staff will communicate directly with individuals regarding appropriate options available under district procedures.”

How convenient. As the New York Post stated:

On Instagram, the principal’s account @raidernationprincipal shows Doolan wearing a hijab with students in 2025 with the caption, “Yesterday, our MSA created an opportunity for everyone to experience the beauty of wearing a hijab on World Hijab Day! I LOVED this experience!”

Clearly Tiffany Doolan and the Wylie Independent School District did not expect such intense backlash, and now they are doing a shoddy job at damage control. Extreme DEI ideology is playing out at Wylie East High School, which is at the same time discriminating against Christians.

    • It is a GOP run state, except for Dem run big cities like Austin, Dallas and Houston. Is this Wylie school in one of those jurisdictions?

  3. The students are allowed by law to talk about religion and read their Bibles on campus. It’s the **non-students**….staff, teachers, principal, and visitors….who are not allowed by law to speak about religion or have books, etc. on campus.

    If a student has Bibles and other students want the Bibles, it is **lawful** for the students to share them.

    The principal is a supporter of islime, or she wouldn’t have worn the slave ….rape her not me…rag, nor allowed the book of demon filth and the slave…rape her not me….rag on campus.

  4. The principal of a school, that has such a poor grasp of the school districts policies and the same poor grasp of the U.S. Constitution is not fit for the job of Principal. The same school district that hired this Principal, should fire this Principal. This Principal has proved herself as being unfit for the job.

    She knows to not allow Bibles to be distributed – but not Qurans and hijabs.

    That performance identifies her as stupid. She has made “mistakes” that happened on “her watch”. Her statements confirm that she is not Principal material. You’re supposed to be able to do the administrative job you were hired to do. You are not a teacher’s assistant. You are supposed to lead because you know what the rules are. Since you didn’t know how to properly handle this obvious situation, the only way for you to “do better” is to resign.

    The school district should recognize she failed at basic Principal skills and fire her.

    I’ve never worked for the Wylie Independent School District. Even with my total lack of experience in the WISD I know that a “Hijab Day”, with free Qurans and hijabs, would be, and is, blatantly illegal.

    How stupid she must be not to know? Awfully stupid.

    Islam counts on this DEI stupidity. It’s part of Islams constant and infinite forms of Jihad that Islam wages once it’s inside your countrie’s borders.

  5. Islam is sticking its big toe in the door all over America. The Islamic plan is total dominance of the world with islam and sharia law. They know they can’t defeat our military so they come in at the bottom of our society and slowly work their way into our schools, media and political system. Migration Invasion of America is well on its way, just look around you.
