Given Israel and America’s war with Iran, it is unsettling to contemplate the ramifications of any confrontation with Turkey. This is precisely why it isn’t prudent to enable obvious enemies of the West to escalate tensions with states that are our allies in the first place. Turkey as a member of NATO is one such an example.
Consider the following headlines:
- Turkish journalist close to Erdogan: Turkey should become a nuclear power and consider nuking Israel

- Turkish president Erdogan accuses Israel of ‘atrocities’ against Palestine and Lebanon, threatens to attack

Miki Zohar is not off base in his comments about Turkey, since Turkey has been escalating its hostility with Israel for years under its Islamic supremacist President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Israeli minister says Turkey should be treated as ‘enemy state,’” by Mera Aladam, Middle East Eye, May 20, 2026:
The Israeli minister of culture and sports has said Turkey should be treated as an “enemy state”, warning it could become Israel’s next major adversary.
Speaking to Israeli news outlet Srugim on Monday, Miki Zohar made the remarks during a discussion about the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, which sailed earlier this week from the Turkish port city of Marmaris and was later raided by Israeli forces.
“We must begin to treat Turkey as an enemy state,” Zohar said.
“If Turkey chooses the path of war with us, it will undoubtedly pay a very heavy price. Israel knows how to defend itself and how to harm those who harm it.”
The minister added that Ankara would “no doubt pay a huge price” if it went to war with Israel.
He also claimed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had said he would build an army to conquer Israel. Although Erdogan has been a fierce and vocal critic of the Israeli government, he has not publicly declared any intention to go to war with Israel.
“There were Iranians who thought the same thing, and look where they are now. If the Turks think the same thing, they will be in a much worse situation,” Zohar said.
His comments came after Israeli forces intercepted several vessels in international waters after they departed from Turkey as part of the Gaza-bound aid flotilla mission….

We know that in Islam there is a strong hatred for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. This is an irrational hatred that is based on the teachings of the Koran and the Hadiths. This is a hatred that has no basis on facts or reality. As a result we have Islamic nations that want to see Israel destroyed. With the things that are going on with Turkey, this nation will eventually attack Israel. This nation needs to be removed from NATO. I see Turkey as another dangerous Islamic nation that needs to be restrained. The president of Turkey is another proud and egotistical leader that would like to bring back the Ottoman Empire with him as its caliph.

Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and the 50+ Islamic Countries are Terrorist States against ALL Non-Muslims based on Islamic Law and on Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15; 98:6-7, etc.). Muslims are Totalitarian Terrorists of Allah operating in bad faith to ultimately conquer the Non-Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”
Allah commands Muslims to fight Non-Muslims to establish Islamic Law, Sharia, using Islam’s ideological animus against Non-Muslims so that Islam reigns supreme. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day[Non-Muslims]. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[in Islamic Law], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have given the book[Jews and Christians] until they pay the jizyah[Extortion Payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

Oh, I so hope so. The Turks are long, looooong overdue for a whupping.

Maybe the Overton window is – finally – starting to shift in regard to Turkey.

I can’t vent enough about the Turks. May 19 was the remembrance anniversary of the Pontic massacre—which Turkey still denies, just like the Armenian/Greek/Assyrian genocide in Anatolia.
There’s nothing I’d like better than to see those squatters kicked out. And for us to get the Hagia Sofia back.

I don’t believe Türkiye would dare confront Israel militarily. That’s why it’s hiding behind the Gaza flotilla, hoping this will put pressure on Israel and weaken it politically.

I think that “Türkiye” wants to provoke Israel into attacking, so that it can try to get NATO to invoke Article 5 and declare war on Israel. But other than that, they’ve noticed how Israel has made short work of Iran, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas, and so they don’t dare engage w/ Israel in battle

I may be naive and uninformed but I don’t get how Turkey, an historical enemy of the West in their golden jihadi days of the Ottoman Empire, ever became a member of NATO in the first place. Turkey never repudiated its core Fascist ideology which is Islam like Germany did with Nazism. Maybe Turkey became more “secularized” at one time but that doesn’t mean it won’t be sympathetic to Muslim terroristic countries or that it doesn’t still harbor anti-Jew and anti-Christian attitudes. It’s scary that US has allowed American-controlled nuclear weapons to be stashed on their territory. How many people know that? Can’t the Turkish military or one of the many Islamic “terrorist” organizations just take control of it if they wanted to even if they didn’t have the launching codes? First they will place some hospitals and schools all around it, then…they hold someone important hostage like maybe…(finish the script…)

Lizabee, NATO (foolishly, in my opinion) took on Turkey for two reasons–firstly, it was a traditional enemy of Russia, and hence of the Soviet Union. Then, in the early 1950s Turkey seemed to be getting more democratic and was pulling away from Islam–if you didn’t look too closely. This latter did not turn out to to be the case, of course.

It already is–just look at the Gaza flotillas and Erdogan installing Jihadist Al Sharaa in Syria–more dangerous than Assad.
