Hamas-linked CAIR lashes out at Sharia-Free America congressional hearings scrutinizing it

On November 18, 2025, Governor Greg Abbott designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal organizations. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis followed suit. The tension is rising, and CAIR is responding with panic: “CAIR Submits Statement for Congressional Record Rebutting Anti-Muslim Hate Planned for Second ‘Sharia Hoax’ Hearing,” CAIR, May 13, 2026:

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/13/26) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today publicly released a formal statement and briefing materials that it shared with the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government ahead of an anti-Muslim congressional hearing that platforms “unhinged bigots” who seek to expel American Muslims and ban the practice of Islam in the United States.

The hearing, titled “Sharia-Free America: Why Political Islam & Sharia Law are Incompatible with the U.S. Constitution: Part II is scheduled to occur today.

The hearing is being organized by the leadership of the so-called “Sharia-Free America Caucus,” which CAIR previously designated as an anti-Muslim hate group. Its members have called for banning the practice of Islam, expelling American Muslims from the United States, and even “destroying” all mainstream Muslims.

The U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations also submitted a formal statement for the record condemning the hearing as discriminatory hate.

In a statement, CAIR Government Affairs Department Director Robert S. McCaw said:

“All Americans have the constitutional right to practice their faith and participate in public life without facing threats of discrimination, expulsion or violence, especially from members of Congress. That is why this second anti-Muslim congressional hearing is an attack not only on the American Muslim community, but on the First Amendment itself….

Some background:

Texas Representative Chip Roy recently stated this about CAIR:

“CAIR is not some innocent 501(c)(3) organization—they facilitate terrorism while operating under the guise of a nonprofit. This bill makes it clear: their assets must be frozen, their tax-exempt status revoked, and all Americans should be prohibited from supporting them. No organization that aids terrorism should financially benefit from it, especially on U.S. soil.”

In mid-April, Roy introduced a bill to preserve America from Sharia. His argument:

America is facing an existential threat – the spread of Sharia Law.  From Texas to every state in the union, instances of Sharia Law adherents have threatened the American way of life, seeking to replace our legal system and Constitution with an incompatible ideology that diminishes the rights of women, children, and individuals of different faiths.

Europe should be a wakeup call to America, showing what the spread of Sharia law looks like – the erosion of the West.

America’s immigration system must be fortified to counter the importation of Sharia adherents – the preservation of our constitutional republic and its people depend on it.”

Although it is difficult to find this important story on the Leftist favoured Google, the Gateway Pundit and the Daily Signal covered the GOP’s upcoming investigation of CAIR. The Daily Signal reported:

 CAIR has also come under renewed scrutiny following allegations that it supported a controversial housing development in Texas that lawmakers have said would enforce Sharia law. On Thursday, a federal judge ordered CAIR’s Texas chapter to turn over a list of foreign donors, along with documentation of trips one of its officials took to eight Middle Eastern countries before the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack.

That housing development is EPIC City (The East Plano Islamic Community-EPIC).

A few headlines about it:

Separate branches of CAIR are another issue. In early January, the United States House Committee on Ways & Means Chairman Jason Smith called for an IRS investigation into CAIR California over accusations of “misuse of taxpayer funds and illegal activity.”

As expected, CAIR is fighting back furiously as it doubles down on its victimology subterfuge, adding in a barrage of name-calling, such as labeling its foes “unhinged bigots.” What else can anyone expect? It is only Western infidels who are hurt and give up when they’re called “racists,” “bigots,” and “Islamophobes” for merely casting a light upon Islam. And CAIR exploits this. No other group reacts this way.

CAIR will continue to manipulate and use America’s freedoms against it, especially religious freedom, which is not a license to break other laws. Nor is it even recognized under the Sharia.

  1. First and foremost, Americans should be aware of those stealth jihad- minded Muslims who are living in the US who attempt to have Sharia law enacted in this country. As the members of CAIR

    Those facts that this is the United States and has something that is far better than Sharia law. It’s the US Constitution. This is America, not Saudi Arabia or Iran.

    As the former US President, Theodore Roosevelt, had well-spoken when he declared in a speech “There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is only room here for only hundred percent Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else.”

    Second, attempting to fuse together the United States Constitution with Sharia is just like trying to mix oil and water together.

    Third, the stealth jihadists scheme for achieving the advancement of Islam and its Sharia by the Muslim Brotherhoods members this is called the “stealth jihad” which is which by insidious infiltrate of the United States government both dangerously subversive to the US Constitution which those stealth jihadists of CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood” would want to replace the US Constitution with Islam’s Sharia .

    This as subtly effective and also is demonically clever in an Islamic sense. Furthermore, this, in some ways, is very similar to the instruction printed in the book entitled THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu. Which reads, “At first, then, exhibit the coyness of a maiden, until the enemy gives you an opening; afterwards emulate the rapidity of a running hare, and it will be too late for the enemy to opposes you.”

    Forth, Sharia, it should be made known that the actual origin of Sharia. It had been revealed in a Time –Life book with the title MESOPOTAMIA: THE MIGHTY KINGS copyright 1995 ” For that future history book about the ancient pagan world of Mesopotamia informs the reader that “many Islamic laws resemble the Babylon and Assyrian forebears.” . page 150.

    Therefore, Sharia is of pagan origin and therefore has no value or worth.

With this News report from jihad watch it’s a very good thing to be aware and remember that there is the sly and subtle as well as disingenuous non-violent methods of the goal of advancement of Islam with its Sharia in the United States by the means what is known and called the “Stealth jihad.” By this technique the Muslims who are the stealth jihadists are able to infiltrate the United States, and gradually, “inch by inch” and likewise “step by step.” Further, archive progression for their Islamic agenda for the advancement of Islam and to establish Sharia in the United States in place of the US Constitution.

    To put this in another way, with America they would like to, if they can, enact Sharia as the law land instead of the US Constitution. Realistic or not, this is their objective.

    To this end the stealth jihadists will and do use the Islamic of Taqiyya, which the modus operandi of speaks and printing lies that are very deceptive.

Those tactics are gathered in a doctrinal statement called “Taqiyya” which is one of the most effective arms for the spread of Islam.     • Much of the sly insidious yet subtle stealth jihad is based on the Islamic dogma called Taqiyya .This is the Islamic doctrine the deception is a good thing to do as long as it’s done for the advancement of Islam with its Sharia in the United Stats

      This Islamic practice of Taqiyya is contrast to teachings found in the Bible. For the Bible informs its readers in Proverbs 11:18. “The wicked worketh a deceitful work…” Likewise, the very next chapter [12] of the same book of Proverbs it reads in verse 5 “The counsels of the wicked are deceit,”

      Also further on verse 20 it reveals “Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil…” [K.J.V.]

  3. The big problem with Islam is that Islam is not just a religion, but Islam is a full religious system and full political government system combined together. When Muslims go to non-muslim countries they seek to impose their Islamic Sharia Law government system on the nations that they immigrate to. This Islamic Sharia Law is totally incompatible with and opposed to the government of the United States. As a result Sharia Law must be forbidden in this nation.

    That has about as much importance and force for change as me saying my neighbors across the street are loud and noisy at all hours, which makes them an anti-sleep group. That is true about the neighbors being loud and noisy, but the likely find time to sleep.

    The pols fighting back against the muzzie takeover, and the signs pointing to them trying to enforce their evil on everyone else, is not an “anti” but a “pro.” Not anti-muzzie, but pro-freedom.
    If the muzzies of cair and other muzzie criminal groups want to take it as anti-muzzie, they are free to flee to afghanistan or pakistan, etc.

  5. It is always hard to watch hearings like this. Democrats changing the subject and Republicans unable to pin the Democrat witness to the wall.

    We know since the time of John Quincy Adams what Islam represents. Men were able to read, understand and summerize the Quran. Adams eloquently did just that when he said, ‘The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.’

    There you have it simplified, fraud or force, sharia or jihad; death slowly, over centuries or quickly.
    Take you pick.

    A yes or no question, asking voters if they consider Islam to be a subversive and seditious belief system should be put on the November 2026 election ballot.

    This would be better than polling …. and just might activate the base.

    “Finlayson responded in November of 2023 to a LinkedIn message from an overseas educator who he said was “calling for the eradication of Israel.” Though the author later deleted his post and all corresponding comments, the National Post quoted from Finlayson’s response in a December 2023 article.

        “Texas student tells congressional panel he faced death threats after speaking out against Islamic group on campus”

        A Texas high school student told a congressional panel that blatant viewpoint discrimination at his public school was the reason why administrators blocked a Republican student club while approving other ideological groups and events.

        Marco Hunter-Lopez, a student at Wylie East High School in Wylie, a suburb of Dallas, shared a viral video on social media in February in which he claimed Islamic religious literature — including a pamphlet advocating for Sharia law — was distributed on campus by a group called Why Islam.

        Hunter-Lopez, the president of the school’s Republican Student Club, said the group was distributing Islamic head coverings, or hijabs, to female students “throughout the high school” as well as copies of the Quran and “pamphlets about Sharia law and other Islamic things” during lunchtime.

        After having a discussion with the four women who were there representing the group, Hunter-Lopez said he was confused as to why they were allowed on campus.

        “We typically have colleges come out. We have our clubs…” he said. “We’ve never had a faith group, to my understanding.”

        On May 13, Hunter-Lopez shared his testimony at a House Judiciary Committee hearing, where Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, questioned him about why his attempt to form a Republican club — which met all standard requirements — was initially denied because of its “political nature.”

        “The requirements are to have 10 members, a teacher that’s willing to sponsor, and a room to meet,” said Hunter-Lopez. “We did on day one.” Despite compliance, he said, the group was later denied “due to its political nature, even though other ideological groups, including groups promoting gender affirming ideology, were approved.”

        When asked why the school appeared to apply a double standard, Lopez pointed to slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot at an event at Utah Valley University last September. “They just don’t want conservative values. I think it’s a trend we’ve seen with how Charlie Kirk was on campuses and on high school campuses.

        “I think that they think conservative values are a threat because they’re true,” he added.

        Lopez contrasted the treatment of his club with school support for World Hijab Day, noting that the principal actively participated and promoted the event. “Our principal actually wore the hijab two years in a row that we know of. … She’s posted it, promoted on social media saying she ‘loved it,’ all caps,” he testified, adding that his approved club still faced restrictions, including having posters taken down.

        The student also highlighted disparities in school libraries. “McMillan Junior High in Wylie ISD offers a Quran but no Bible available,” Lopez said, claiming that “the Bible’s not allowed.”
        Wylie ISD did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.

        According to Hunter-Lopez, there were also excessive security protocols imposed on his club’s guest speakers, including state representatives and congressmen, which required weeks of advance paperwork and background checks.

        In contrast, he said an Islamic group received no such scrutiny. “None. None, from what I know,” Lopez stated when asked about protocols for that group. He noted the school did not appear to vet materials, including “Sharia pamphlets” or items with the shahada, the Islamic profession of faith.

        Hunter-Lopez told the panel that he faced death threats after speaking out against the Islamic literature.

        “I had people saying that they were going to be at my house waiting for me to get home and they were going to shoot me. I had people telling me to kill myself. A lot of different things,” he said. “But I know nobody can proclaim anything over me because I wake up every morning with victory with Christ.”

        Following the incident in February, Wylie ISD officials blamed a “failure to follow established procedures” and said it wasn’t immediately clear how the group gained access to the Wylie East High School campus or who authorized it.

        Nearly one year prior to the incident, Wylie East High School Principal Tiffany Doolan promoted World Hijab Day on her Instagram page, writing, “Yesterday, our MSA created an opportunity for everyone to experience the beauty of wearing a hijab on World Hijab Day! I LOVED this experience!”

Now while I’m not sure how exactly this was previously judged – does not Islam meet all the requirements to be judged to be a CULT and have there not been previous cases where such were banned. e.g. they profess allegiance to a philosophy that requires “jihad” against any opposition to their beliefs?
    And is this not deemed criminal?
    Is there any other “religion” that advocates such extreme behavior towards non-members??
    Therefore the classification of Islam as being a religion would not stand scrutiny and they should be charged accordingly!!

  9. The American people have been brainwashed to believe Islam is a religion thru the democrats protection of it especially with Obama in office. CAIR has been preaching that Islam will take over America, an outright threat that has gone on without consequences or removal for threating to conquer or destroy America.

    Islam’s sole purpose is to make a one world caliphate, a global world that is strictly Islam. So far since Oct, 2023 it has made itself apparent with the attack on Israel, the ongoing invasion and spread of mosques, population growth, Islamic compounds, schools and finally holding public elected offices.

(ISBN # 0-915957-72-8) This book covers all 5 of Islamic books, Chapter o9.0 title JIHAD is an important read. This can be found online using the title of the book, Amazon has it listed however they are asking $$$$$ for it.

    Wake up people, Islam is out to conquer or destroy America. Islam does not care that you are human, all they care about is that you either submit to Islam & become Muslim to save your life or they will kill you to show the world that you did not submit.

    Think this is a false or incorrect statement: look to Africa and the nations where Islam is slaughtering the Christians. These Muslims are not terrorists they are Muslims following the very commands from a person they deem holy, follow his every command without thought to the person in front of them is human, the only thing they want is submission and if not they kill.

    However CAIR is using American Constitutional Law against the people which means what I call a non violent war against the American people be claiming a religious entity.

    The government has failed to enforce the law that states any organization that seeks to destroy America be removed from America. That in itself is criminal.

  10. No, CAIR, the Fist Amendment to the U.S. Constitution does NOT authorize any practice, religious and otherwise, that violates relevant U.S. law.

    FGM, polygamy, and punitive amputations, as examples, are illegal here.
