Hijab-clad Salt Lake City mayor extols ‘values of faith and kindness that Ramadan brings to our community’

Islamopandering is all the rage these days and is happening all over the country; Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall is by no means unique, but offers a particularly egregious example of how foolish this really is. She happily dons a hijab, oblivious to the untold numbers of women who have been threatened, brutalized, and even killed for not wearing it.

She praises “the values of faith and kindness that Ramadan brings to our community,” giving the impression to those ignorant of their own culture (and they are legion) that Islam teaches faith and kindness in a way that Judaism and Christianity (and Mormonism) do not, and that faith and kindness didn’t exist in the West before Islam came along. She also ignores the real meaning of Ramadan, and why there is always more jihad violence during it. She is the very model of the modern useful idiot.

  1. It was bad when a former Minneapolis mayor went to a mosque in a hijab to conduct city business. Now you have that lunacy in Salt Lake City as well. How islamically penetrated is Utah? I know it has been moving centrist over the last 2 decades, but this?

    Am I right in assuming that it’s still a Red city, or has it somehow gone Purple, if not Blue?

    • Several years ago actually, Laura Ingraham hit the nail on the head. She pointed out that even though there were almost no similarities between Islam and Mormonism , or Catholic churches,etc, these churches and their organizations get money for resettling so called refugees. That’s why these groups have been so anxious to “help “.

      • Despite not being Christian, I used to be somewhat supportive of churches having their role in politics, on issues like family values, education, the media and the like. But after the trend of almost all churches preaching love towards islam, I’m almost w/ the (D) separation-of-church-and-state crowd! If churches are gonna make it more difficult to ostracize and ultimately outlaw islam in the West, then get them out of the way, and just prosecute islam on purely secular ideals!

A bag of emotions who would think that it was a demonstration of peace, tranqility and love when receiving candies from the joyous crowd after Oct 7 or 911. Instead of wearing the burqa I would have respected her more if she came to the joyous celebration announcing that she just got her FGM yesterday as a sign of gratitude and support to the Muslim celebrants and its traditions.

    When Christians establish a charity, they help everyone.
    Muslims don’t.
    A Muslim charity will only help Muslims.

    When Christians establish a hospital, they help everyone.
    Muslims don’t even establish hospitals.

    Muslims are not known for their kindness, and to suggest they do is just a lie.

    • What you say is spot on, Islam is bad. Muslims have a hate filled, rotten attitude towards non Muslims. Any kindness they have is only towards their fellow Muslims. Then again, I am a Christian but I loathe Islam and not give charity to Muslims. I would ban Islam from all civilised, non Muslim countries. Letting Muslims in is the dumbest move ever. It is suicidal.

        Appreciate the link and the understanding of what Islamic hospitals would be. I hadn’t thought about that aspect of Islam.
        Islam is so counter to everything in our Western understanding even
        a hospital has to be explained. For instance, if we see a hospital with the name Methodist Hospital we know it’s not just for Methodists but an Islamic Hospital would only be by, and for, the Muslims. If they did ever build such a monstrosity they might have to hire and treat unbelievers – until they get their numbers up to point they can practice “Medical Jihad”.
        Islam’s approach to hospitals is an example of how Islam views the unbelievers as their mortal enemy. As stated in the Quran unbelievers have offended Allah by their unbelief and deserve death for their sin. Why would they want to help or cure the unbelievers Allah has commanded them to kill? So they don’t.

      • Jewish and Christian hospitals–of whatever denomination–are for *everyone*. This would *not* be the case wirh any Muslim hospital.

        I was born in a Catholic hospital, even though my family is not Catholic. The care was excellent.

Unfortunately the IRS has not revoked the tax free 401(c)(3) status of CAIR and similar Muzzie groups that violate the conditions of 401(c)(3) status.

        • I spent 22 years fighting islam with the .mighty 82nd. They are on high ready right now. I thought I got a good education between Kuwait, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq, but you and Infidel are making g me think real hard and for that I am grateful. Helping g me to keep dementia at bay. I have triplet girls in college now and crazy is right around the corner. In all seriousness, combat was easier than kids. I love both, but keeping someone alive and healthy is much harder than going g tne other way. All the people that post make me think outside of my prejudiced box. Always thankful for that.

          I can only imagine what it would be like to spend that much time in lands ruled by islime and having to watch every moment for violence.

        • Somehistory, it never fails to amaze me that people forget that we do need each other. Some camaraderie and kindness go very far in our materialistic society. I started reading Robert Spencer after the events in Israel on 10/7. As a fairly observant Jewish man i have found great comfort in reading his books and then was turned onto this forum.
          Knowing the perspective of others has helped me to be a better critical thinker and a better person. Perhaps my thinking is a little extreme as I think all should leave, but it is how i feel after having spent all that time in the M E.
          Most importantly may G-d look down upon you and yours with kindness and compassion. I look forward to your continued posts.

        • Richrd, thank you for your kind thoughts for me and mine.

          I was “introduced” to muzzies by being around them; where I lived, where I worked, etc. I had never read their book….and will never….so I was unaware of the demon filth they feed on daily. I just knew they were not people I wanted around me. so many showed rudeness when interacting with me, for no reason I could discern.

          I was taking courses in public safety and criminal justice, most having to do with fighting terrorism when I found this site and began to read Mr Spencer’s words. I have only read one of his books, but many of his articles and listened to many of his interviews.
          Obviously I can’t quote any of the book of demon filth, but I don’t feel that is necessary to know that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did not make man for those things.
          I am thankful that faithful Jews recorded the Words we all need in order to be “blessed” by our Creator. And I’m thankful that Mr. Spencer and others have alerted us to the reasons for the evil muzzies commit everywhere they are, so we are on guard against them..

          I’m glad you found this site and I look forward to reading more of what you have experienced and your thoughts on the matter.

        • I’m getting there too. I do cybersecurity for myself and contracting to some of the organizations you have read about or worked with.
          I do all of my work off a phone and often make typos as well as using cheaters. I hate having to carry a phone all the time, but with kids and a loving wife I have no choice. I do hope your day goes easy.

        • You actually should read the “Book of Demon Filth” (I like your characterization), it is an eye-opener. It will give you insight beyond what Robert Spencer can convey of what the civilized world is up against. Reading it in conjunction with Robert’s historical research is the best of both worlds. And if you do read it, you are in good company. Thomas Jefferson read it; read his comments on the Barbary Wars. So did Winston Churchill. Unfortunately, we no longer have luminaries running our governments. Most are hacks that have little historical knowledge or insight as to what makes the world tick!

          The Islamic ideology irreversibly permeates and poisons the Muslims’ soul. Yahya Sinwar, who committed the Qu’ran to memory, was serving four life sentences in an Israeli prison for murdering two Israeli soldiers and two informants. He started gettin dizzy spells, and a prison dentist correctly thought it was a brain tumor. Sinwar received the same neurosurgical care in an Israeli hospital as an Israeli would have received, and it saved his life. But the ingrate saw it as being rescued by Allah to continue his jihad against Israel from within the prison and afterwards when he was released in an ill-conceived prisoner exchange. All the Muzzies are poisoned by the Book of Filth, and by importing them amongst us, we now have a domestic cancer that threatens all of us infidels.

          What I did do was listen to Robert’s description of the demon-filth book on Hatun Tash’s channel – at least until chapter 9. Somehow, didn’t get the time since then. However, it gets repetitive and boring. There is the TL:DR version of the book, which is “muslims good, infidels bad”, and that infidels are to be killed, raped or humiliated in any way possible. What more do we need to know?

        • Infidel, you distilled it down to those last two sentences. Those two are the most. crucial. We need not no more. What we need to ot out is what are we as free people going to do about it?
          We cant rely on government to intervene as they are more concerned earned about money, votes and power. Very sad. Something needs to be done or I feel a very uncivil war will take place on the u.s. homeland. I still say it goes against judeo Christian pillars that the U.S was built on. Leave on your own, leave in a box or be buried at sea.
          Take your pick, but they all must go.

          Thank you, Taffy. As I wrote, I saw islime up close and personal for years before I even heard of Mr Spencer or Mr. Ibrahim. I was “treated” to islime by its adherents and it taught me a lot about their behavior
          I had read a book on various religions…all of the “major” ones… and the chapter on islime, written by a former muzzie, had nothing useful for understanding the “why” of the evil behavior.
          As Infidel wrote, what more does one need.to know past: ““muslims good, infidels bad”, and that infidels are to be killed, raped or humiliated in any way possible.”
          I have that memorized, and don’t need to read from the demons’. The book is spiritual poison.
          But each one must make his own decisions on what to read, when and how much.

        I am studying the Quran so I know HOW I’m being lied to by Islam.

        For example, there is still the fairytale going around about how Islam sent desperately needed aid to Ireland during the 1845-52 Potato Famine. There is, to this day, in the town of Drogheda, a plaque commemorating the Ottoman Sultan’s charity.

        If I had not read the Quran and understood Islam’s commands NOT to give charity to infidels, let them die, I might have been convinced to believe this lie.

        The Sultan did send aid – did more than Queen Victoria – there is a plaque. If you do a low level search with AI it will tell you this lie was true. The political reality of WHY the Sultan did that is much more interesting.
        Which AI will divulge, if you keep on pressing it.

        Why would an Islamic Turkish Sultan send aid to starving Infidels when Mohammed and the Quran forbid it?

        Turkey was facing the upcoming Crimean War, 1852-56, and the Sultan needed the British Empire on his side. He was facing off against the Russian Empire and was buying Infidel allies.
        It was a cynical use of “charity” by a malign force to gain an ally.
        Realpolitik pure and simple.

        That plaque at Drogheda is used, to this day, to tell the Irish that they should let Islam into their borders because Islam came to their aid during the Great Famine.

        I knew to keep pressing AI because I had read what the Quran says.

  12. It is really rare when you see a politician refusing to wear a hijab. The only example I can think of is Marine Le Pen, and look what happened to her. She is barred from running for office in France and is often described as a far-right extremist racist.

    Yet another, at best ignorant, politician cosplaying multiculturalism by donning the Submitscarf. She wishes to display how enlightened and open minded she feels.
    She may feel it’s the same as going to an Italian festival dressed in red, white and green. It is not.

    But as Hank above said – those are just her shallow feelings.

    My shallow feelings wish she could be forded to wear the Submitscarf for at least a year. Then maybe graduate to a burka for a time.

    She, as Mayor, is the City’s representative of local U S law. By U S law all are equal under the law. No U S citizen is required to wear special garments to mark themselves. She is showing that, as Mayor, and as a woman, she has no understanding of what she is promoting and submitting to by donning the Submitscarf.

    I am not religious, but I returned to the Christian church I was raised in for the focus on morality. As a member I contributed – until I came to see that the church was literally supporting illegal immigration by providing legal services and physical support.
    I left after 4 years of never hearing about the suffering Christians world wide at the hands of Islam and yet they supported open borders due to the suffering of the invaders.
    I too came to know that churches who performed such “charity” benefitted from their “good works”. They received refugee “settlement” reimbursements but also many of the invaders were church goers who would now fill the empty churches
    in the U. S.
    The Founding Fathers of the U.S. understood the need for separation of church and state. Like Free Speech it can be frustrating at times. One of the problems England faces is they have a state religion –
    so how can they object to no separation of Islamic religion and state.

    All to say the rot is far and deep.

    I am profoundly grateful to Mr Spencer et al and all of the people who post at this site.
