The highest calling in Islam is to “martyrdom,” so it is fitting that the holiest month in Islam would reflect such a calling. Islamic water carriers on the left labeled truth-tellers in the West who have been warning about this fact “Islamophobic,” despite the fact that warnings came from what Islamic clerics were widely preaching.
A few headlines:
- Al Jazeera: ‘Ramadan is the month of jihad and victories in Islamic history’
- Al-Qaeda calls Ramadan ‘the month of jihad,’ encourages Muslims to carry out jihad massacres
- Supreme Sharia judge and Abbas advisor: ‘Ramadan is a month of jihad, conquest and victory’
- Ramadan: Month of Jihad
- Ramadan: more bloodshed expected this month because “jihad is the best form of worship”
- Muslim leader: “Ramadan is the pious month of jihad and killing”
The State of Israel is particularly hated in Islam, so Jews get a special focus, intended to escalate antisemitism, as is pointed out in the article below.
At the core of Islam is violent conquest to spread the Sharia globally in service to Allah. The stealth jihad does the same. Western blindness and naivety have provided the perfect soil to spread the seeds of Sharia everywhere.
“Ramadan Is The Month Of Jihad, Victories And Martyrdom”, by Rachel Legow, MEMRI, February 20, 2026:
The month of Ramadan – which this year started on February 18 – is a time of piety of fasting, but it is also associated in Islam with jihad, conquest and martyrdom. According to Muslim tradition, during Ramadan Allah grants the Muslims glorious victories, as exemplified in history by the Battle of Badr (624 CE), the conquest of Mecca (630), the conquest of Andalusia (711), the battle of Ein Jalut (1260), and the “War of Ramadan” fought by Egypt against Israel in 1973 (also known as the Yom Kippur War).
The establishment in some Muslim countries promotes the perception of Ramadan as the month of jihad and victory, and inculcates the belief that great Muslim victories like those listed above are attainable every year during this month. This message is conveyed in sermons delivered by establishment clerics in the Arab world, in the government-controlled media and press, and in the schools systems of some Muslim countries.
This perception is also espoused by jihadi and terrorist organizations, which leverage the religious and spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan, and the legacy of Ramadan battles and victories in Islamic history, to intensify the incitement to terrorism. They emphasize that the commandment to wage jihad assumes special significance during this month, due to the heightened readiness for martyrdom, and stress that attacks during Ramadan have a “special flavor and character,” and even earn their perpetrators a greater divine reward.
Ramadan also serves as an opportunity to cement antisemitic perceptions of Jews and Israel in order to justify attacks against them, inter alia by means of the television series aired during this month in many Arab countries.…

Month of martyrdom etc.
Let’s give them what they want. We can some some uninvited guests with +1s from Raytheon. Tomahawk and cruise missles.
Every war i fought involved Islam. Oil in Kuwait, and Saddam not listening, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq, Islamic mental cases. There is a common thread here. Perhaps regime change can help.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Kuwait was an unjustified war, in retrospect. All we did was restore the al Sabahs to power. Today, they are one of the countries that bankroll the muslim brotherhood. Had we left Saddam there, but just worked out deals w/ him whereby he’d not attack Israel, we’d have been fine. No troops to protect Saudi Arabia, which ostensibly was one of Osama’s rationales for pulling off 9/11
Same thing for Kosovo – I have no idea what good it did in the region. On the negative side, the Serbs have no reason to like US, and who can blame them?
Oh, and thank you for your service!
Ugly 312 says
Infidel, you are most welcome. I enjoyed serving my country. I was younger and took orders. I did not think beyond getting the fight to the enemy.
Now older and a bit wiser and you raise an important point, we do not consider the secondary or tertiary repercussions of our actions. Had we left Saddam in place with that understanding I do not think Iran would be the problem it is today. But we had blood lust and he was hung for any number of reasons. It all depends on one’s perspective. We also have forgotten the one million civilian casualties that needless war had caused. We just never consider the ramifications of our actions.
I would love to see regime change in Iran with the wonderful prisoners of the wicked Khomeini freed from the Basij. The thought of the theocratic government in place having a nuclear weapon is very scary. I do not want that to happen for the world let alone what may happen to our allies in tbe region. I hope our president does opt for regime change and he has got the stones to do it. What are the possible repercussions from that ? Perhaps it is too late. I only see positives, but that has been my problem and that of our nation for many years. We need to consider the downsides to this.
Thank you for your posts here on jihadwatch. They are intellectually stimulating and I am smarter for them, so really thank you as well.

You’re more than welcome
I quite agree w/ you about Saddam. Even if he had conquered Saudi Arabia and turned Iraq from a shi’a to a sunni majority country, that would have been great. On the negative side, that would have brought him much closer to Israel, so they obviously wouldn’t have liked it. But at least the Saud and the al Sabah dynasties would have been eradicated, and maybe also the al Thanis in Qatar, the Khilafas in Bahrein as well as the ruling dynasties in Abu Dhabi and Muscat. He may then have maybe invaded Syria, and been locked in a war w/ Hafez al Assad
And yeah, when we do make political or military decisions, we need to consider their repercussions. Had we treated Russia more carefully in the 90s and helped them emerge from their economic meltdown, there wouldn’t have been the Beijing-Moscow axis against us today
࿗Infidel࿘ says
This is the #1 reason why we infidels should not greet muslims on Ramadan. Much less observe it ourselves, aside from being vigilant of jihad attacks
somehistory says
Exactly. Greeting them is wishing them success and that success for them means they get to rape and murder and are home free afterward.
Greeting them isn’t like saying ‘Merry Christmas” or “Happy Hanukkah” Wishing a happy muzzieness is just asking for pain and death.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Also, the Ramadan decorations that we see in the above picture in London – are they done in islamic countries, such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Morocco, et al? Or is it just a Western thing?
Siddi Nasrani says
I lived in Morocco for 8 years & never saw any Ramadan decorations.

they want to show us that they are just like us
like their new found obsession with halal
all Australian meat is halal
Canada grown duck is halal
Tillamook cheese is halal

somehistory says
And those who have been asleep for all these years….two decades at the very least….should wake up and realize that this month is extra special to the muzzies because they see special opportunities to rape and murder.
muzzies often slaughter infidels while the infidels are sleeping.
Westman says
“…great Muslim victories like those listed above…”
The 1973 Yom Kippur war was a victory for Islam? A surprise attack during a national religious observance, by multiple Islamic nations, that resulted in Egypt losing the Sinai? Had it continued and Israel gone to nukes it would have been a Nakba beyond the Egyptian and Syrian imagination.
Muslim clerics may talk upon the early and late successes in that war, but the eventual outcome, if it had continued, would have been as certain as the last “surprise” war by Hamas.
Islam’s parasite clerics, like the bullhorn leaders shouting slogans at demonstrations, don’t give a whit about what happens to those who would die by responding to their Ramadan cries for violence. No religion has taken more self-governance away from humans and directed it to violence than Islam.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Egypt had lost the Sinai in 1967, but I think they recovered a bit of it in 1973? In fact, as of 1975, they were in position of 1/3 of the Sinai, and recovered the rest of it in the Camp David accords

but…but…..but….
what about the more important “greater jihad”???? Have they forgotten the
“greater jihad”?
(.Greater jihad refers to the inner struggle against one’s own passions and impulses, emphasizing personal and spiritual development in accordance with Islamic teachings. It is often considered more significant than the lesser jihad, which involves physical struggle or warfare)
James Lincoln says

“what about the more important “greater jihad”????”
That’s just “window dressing”.

greater jihad is mental preparation for (as the koran says)r succeeding through terror

Muslims also think that they should give charity in the Bombadhon month because allah will reward them multiple times than in other months. Therefore, many season beggars will appear in the cities. So, the poor who really needs the charity should fast in the other eleven months because the rich only gives in Bombadhon.
The fault in this way of thinking certainly fall mostly on allah because of the reward system in the Bombadhon month.

Walter Sieruk says
First, this obsession by some jihad –minded Muslims becoming ‘martyrs” is really a is both deadly and unrealistic when the Muslim clerics call a jihad suicide/ homicide a “martyrdom operation.” Is just like scraping the label of ajar of ricin that reads “Danger Deadly Poison” and replacing that label is another one that reads “Apple Juice” that doesn’t, in way change the lethal contents in that jar.
Second, if those Muslim clerics, as the imams, really believe that what they call a “martyrdom operation.” is such grand and wonderful things to do., then they should practice what by preach and example and strap a bomb vest on themselves and then go out and blow themselves up. That they never, ever do, reveals the very disingenuous , insecure sinister and mind manipulating character of those imams.
Third, only a very unthinking person will accept the fool saying which is that “It doesn’t matter what you believe as long and you’re sincere.”
That incident of the jihad- minded Muslim attacking those police officers, all the while yelling out “Allahu akbar” in New York city is one example, out of many that it really does matter what a person believes even if his or her believe is sincere.
For that Muslim was. no doubt, sincerely following his religion, which is Islam , for the Qu ‘ran does instruct devout Muslims to “Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you and let them find harshness in you…” Surah 9:123.
Attacking: ”disbelievers ” with a machete is very effective way to show them harshness.
So, it is very important and does matter, very much what a person believes regardless if he or she actually, immensely, sincere.
Walter Sieruk says
The Muslim terrorist who engaged in that jihad suicide/homicide bombing had spiritual blindness because of deception of false religion, which is Islam.
Of the many false doctrines of Islam, one of them is the dangerous doctrine of a paradise with many virgins, hours, in it ,for the use only the Muslim male who dies in an jihad attack for the cause of Islam.
That jihadist/Muslim ,as well as others who are just as much under the spell of the deception of Islam and after their beguilement they become literally as it’s term “dangerous to self and others.”
A “peaceful, non-violent religion “, indeed. That bogus claim spoken by the many apologists for Islam is 100% balderdash
. Many a times a jihadist had made a video in which he speaks of the many virgins that he will have a wedding with after he dies as a “martyr” in his jihad bombing In reality he’s only exposing who completely deluded that he actually is by the false and empty promises of Islam,
For Muslims do accept Jesus and a prophet, yet nothing more. Still the point is that Jesus taught” “You are mistaken not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.” Matthew 22:29,30. [N.K.J.V.]
Therefore, according to Jesus such marriages those deluded jihadist talk about are not possible.
In addition, the Bible does warn about being taken in by religious stories , no matter how very inciting those religious stores might be, For in the Bible is warns against giving “heed to fables…” First Timothy 1:4.
Furthermore, coming of false teachers, as those imams and mullahs, who thoroughly indoctrinate such a dogma as of a sex -filled paradise into the hearts and minds of others had been predicted in the Bible
Which informs its reader “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine , but according their to their own desires , because they have itching ears ,they will heap up for themselves teachers ; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” Second 4:3,4.
In great contrast to the jihadist with his daydream of that Islam fable /story doctrine of a paradise with many virgins , the Christian has the reality of the Lord of all . Who is the Jesus of the Bible. Which reads in Second Peter 1:16. “For we did not follow cunningly devise fables when we made known to you the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitness of His majesty.”
