On March 1, 2025, Al-Qaeda’s Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF) released a four-page statement in Arabic and English versions, titled “Congratulations to All Muslims on the Occasion of the Advent of the Blessed Month of Ramadan.”[1] The Islamic holy month began, according to most Sunnis, on March 1, while many Shi’ites began observing it on the following day….
Furthermore, Ramadan is “the month of jihad,” which means not only “fighting enemies, but … also striving against the self that commands evil, and correcting it to obey Allah.” The “great victories” which Muslims have experienced during Ramadan, such as the Battle of Badr and conquest of Mecca, show that “Ramadan is not a month of idleness and laziness, but a month of work and diligence, a month of determination and victory, and a symbol of the beginning of the success of Islam and the completion of its triumph.”
The victory of Muhammad’s outnumbered army in the Battle of Badr, fought on the 17th of Ramadan in the second year from the Hijrah, served, in GIMF’s view, as “confirmation that true victory comes from Allah and that true faith is the most powerful weapon a person can possess,” establishing to Muslims the importance of trusting in Allah “in the darkest of circumstances.” Forming “the beginning of the launch of Islam and the strengthening of the power of the Muslims,” the battle “was a decisive turning point in the path of the Islamic da’wa [preaching],” demonstrating to Muslims and others “the strength and magnificence of Islam” and “opening new horizons for spreading the Islamic religion.”
The conquest of Mecca, on the 20th of the holy month in the eighth year of the Hijrah, was “one of the most prominent testimonies to the greatness of this religion,” offering – according to GIMF – “an eternal lesson in mercy and forgiveness,” when Muhammad granted amnesty to the city’s people, who had previously been his enemies. The Al-Qaeda media group claims that this forgiveness was “an embodiment of the forbearance of Islam” and marked a “turning point,” after which the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula “enter[ed] the religion of Allah in crowds.” GIMF declares: “People saw with their own eyes the strength and justice of Islam, and how a religion of such forbearance and forgiveness was worthy of adherence … The power of the Islamic message was revealed. The Conquest of Makkah became an affirmation of the victory of truth and the defeat of falsehood.”…
In a February 19 statement, Al-Qaeda’s Central Command urges Muslims to carry out attacks during this year’s Ramadan, the “month of conquests and victories.”[2]

As if the murderous, hate filled scum need to have a special time of the year to become even more murderously violent. As for truth and Islam, they are complete strangers to one another. Elul is the month preceding Rosh Hashanah, and it is traditionally considered a time for introspection and repentance in preparation for the High Holy Days. And no… no one need bewar of what you’re eating, drinking, saying, thinking, around observant Jews. This iw what the Ramadan pretence is about: but it’s the Jewish month of Elul that is little known because Jews do not curse others, demand the surrender of others and or their religions, and certainly don’t attack others in the name of religion. My word, how studpid we are in the West as we don’t realize this,… this perfidy that is Islam.
