Congressman provokes outrage by saying ‘the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one’

Outrage against Rep. Randy Fine is the left’s outrage du jour, with the fact that he was responding to Nerdeen Kiswani’s call for the banning of dogs in New York City (a “joke,” she says now) often left unmentioned.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom was the first to charge Fine with “racism.” Like virtually all leftists, Newsom doggedly pretends that Islam is a race or Muslims are all of one race. In reality, there are Muslims, and Islamic jihadis, of all races. And what everyone who is charging Fine with “Islamophobia” and “bigotry” is ignoring is the fact that Islamic law, Sharia, is political, supremacist, expansionary, and violent. If we continue to ignore this fact, we will be subsumed under its hegemony, and our new overlords will not hesitate to engage in acts against us that leftists term “bigotry” today, but won’t be doing so then.

Also, there are the obvious rejoinders to all the faux outrage over Fine’s statement: dogs never flew any planes into buildings, women don’t have to fear rape by dogs when they go out at night, dogs aren’t declaring their imminent takeover and the subjugation of the natives, and on and on. No leftist, of course, will acknowledge any of that. In raging at Fine, they’re busy pretending that Islam is no more dangerous than Methodism, and that it’s all about disliking “brown people.” This strategy will backfire on them, and it will do so, paradoxically, right at its moment of victory, when leftists discover, to their horror, that the “Islamophobes” were right, and the leftists themselves are the next jihadi target.

Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., prompted calls for his resignation from Democrats and a major Islamic civil rights group after suggesting in a social media post that he’d choose dogs over Muslims.

“If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one,” Fine posted to the social media platform X on Sunday.

Shortly afterward, he added a photo of a post from Nerdeen Kiswani, the co-founder of the pro-Palestinian group “Within Our Lifetime,” in which she called dogs “unclean” and said that “NYC is coming to Islam.” Kiswani later told NBC News in an email she made the comment satirically.

Fine wrote in the follow-up post, “For context, this is the leader of one of the key mainstream Muslim groups that supported Mamdani,” referring to Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s new mayor.

Fine’s initial post sparked a parade of criticism and a handful of calls for him to resign.

In a statement, the Council on American-Islamic Relations pointed to its previous condemnation’s of Fine’s past comments on Gaza and Hamas, adding that “leaders of Congress across the political spectrum should demand his resignation, which is long overdue.”

Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., called the post “disgusting Islamophobia and dangerous bigotry,” adding that “he should be forced to resign” after his committee assignments are stripped from him.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., called for House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., to “reprimand him immediately,” adding that he’s “repeatedly dehumanized Muslims without consequence.”

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom responded to Fine on X, writing, “Resign now, you racist slob.”…

    • The virtue-signaling Democrats fail to see that Fine was following Allah. Allah in Qur’an 98:6-7 says, “6 Surely those who became infidels, from the People of the Book[Jews and Christians] and polytheists, will abide in the fire of hell forever. Those are the worst of the creatures. 7 Surely those who believed and did good deeds, those are the best of the creatures.”

  3. Yes, an easy choice. My dog didn’t threaten to kill me if I didn’t become a dog.

    • He is entitled to his opinion even if he ruffles some feathers in the process. I don’t know his constituents but this will hopefully guarantee his re-election. He gets it.

      Muslims, and non-Muslims like Newsome, who are offended are the ones we have to keep an eye on.

    There is no such thing as Dog Jihad.

    Dogs don’t have an established ideology that promotes harm and deception towards non-dogs (although they might have a particular animus towards cats).

    Dogs aren’t anti-Semitic (although they might be anti-feline).

    Dogs are generally loyal and trustworthy.

    I support the dogs.

  10. Man’s best friend, wonderfully loyal and wishing us well, versus the hate filled, vicious members of a satanic cult which threatens to kill us if we don’t join the satanic cult. It is a bloody easy choice. I would choose the dog over a Muslim any day of the week.and bravo to this guy for being so forthright with his views as opposed to all the piss weak fence sitters.

      • I feel the same, john, although I have to say that there are some ferocious dogs that scare me but I think is the owners who have made them that way. Muslims, I trust none of them. They are are brought up to hate us. If only everybody would realise this.

  17. As I’ve already posted on several sites, I’d trade every Muslim man,woman & child if I could have my best friend & companion back. He was a Blue Heeler, my service dog & the most devoted creature I’ve ever known. I lost him to cancer this past year. The Muslim invasion of America began in earnest under the Kenyan Muslim & under his direction, Biden opened the border to who knows how many terrorists. I know enough of the Quran to know their goal is a world-wide caliphate and they will stop at nothing to achieve that. France & the UK are already lost but if it takes civil war to eliminate them from America, so be it, they MUSt & WILL be stopped.

      The only change I would make to Mr. Fine’s original comment would be to change “Muslim” to “Islam”.

  23. Unfortunately, politicians who have the brains and courage to speak the truth, like Randy Fine, are few and far between. The others are useful idiots or just plain idiots who are marching, like lemmings, to their own destruction and ours.

  25. This was either a setup, or just being used as one. Obviously, it’s not, “racist”, since Islam is not a race.

    That said, the comments here have been appalling. I loathe Islam. That is different than hating Muslim people. They need Jesus Christ. Muslims are human beings created in the image of God. Dogs are not.

    That type of behavior/comments, on JW, of all places, just drags the reputation of this important resource into the dirt.

    We’re supposed to be better than that. We always have been better than that.

      Muslims have the same benefits every other human has–and they have chosen to embrace a creed that preaches the abuse of dogs and robbery, rape, enslavement, and mass murder of all Infidels. Dog do not do this.

        • You make it sound as if one is standing on the lake shore watching a human drown while using resources in saving a dog.

          muzzies are here ….and everywhere…to take over and rape and enslave or rape and murder us. They don’t view us as having any rights they don’t see us as human and they want us dead. Our dogs can help prevent that killing.

          To tell them we will not get rid of our dogs so they can be happier in the quest to murder and subjugate us is common sense and self-preservation.
          If they don’t want to be around dogs, they can leave and go where there are no dogs.
