Some years ago, a woman we knew asked my son to make a recording of his dog …part pit bull, part German Shepherd….barking so she could play it if she was afraid of prowlers.
There have been strangers who approached our door, and when my daughter’s dog barks from inside, they fly off the porch.

They do rescues, they sniff out danger, they help catch criminals. they take people across Alaskan ice, they lead searchers to dead bodies, etc. And they make great companions for people who live alone.
Recently, there was the little 3 year old boy who went missing. As the police were searching for him, looking everywhere, a dog came from out of nowhere and led one officer to the little boy locked in an SUV. When the boy was helped to get out, the dog was no longer around.
He didn’t belong to the little boy or the police. But he helped both.
Just send the muzzies packing back to the places from whence they….or their relatives…came.

Dogs are unclean? No. Dogs are simple and noble creatures and loyal to an extent that is rare to find in any other animal.
