The current American responses to jihad terror activity worldwide reflect just how far the global jihad advanced under the last administration. The latest: “US launches wave of strikes in Somalia targeting ISIS, al-Shabab terror threats,” by Emma Bussey, Fox News, January 13, 2026:
The U.S. stepped up airstrikes in Somalia in January, targeting al-Shabab and the local affiliate of the Islamic State group, ISIS, according to U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
In a Jan. 12 release, AFRICOM said U.S. forces, working with the Somali federal government, carried out airstrikes against al-Shabab militants.
AFRICOM said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to “degrade the group’s ability to threaten the U.S. homeland, U.S. forces and Americans overseas.”
Airstrikes against ISIS—Somalia were also reported on Jan. 11 and Jan. 9 in northern Somalia, including the Golis Mountains region of Puntland, southeast of Bosaso…
Many accuse Trump of interfering in foreign conflicts without recognizing the American national security angle. In the midst of an imminent, deadly threat to someone’s own family, for instance, would they wait for the full plan to materialize before responding, or would they act before a dangerous escalation?
A recent example in Venezuela: beyond the rampant corruption of the Maduro fascist regime, Venezuela was fast becoming Iran’s twin regime as the two nations forged a multidimensional, strategic partnership, united in their hatred of America. Here are some recent headlines illustrating how Venezuela became a threat to America:
- Hezbollah Expands Its Operations in South America
- Iran increases military presence In Venezuela with drone factory
- Trinidad & Tobago signs national security agreements with US in event of conflict with Venezuela
- Texas governor to designate violent Iran-supported Venezuelan street gang a foreign terrorist organization

- Venezuela: Maduro unleashes campaign of terror in attempt to cling to power, Iran congratulates him
- IDF warning: Iran arming Venezuela with weapons ‘very capable of hitting U.S.’
- Iran, Venezuela and Syria sign groundbreaking tripartite deal to construct oil refinery in Homs. And in 2020, U.S. Southern Command chief Admiral Craig Faller warned that Iran’s Quds Force was sending weapons and troops to Venezuela.
- Venezuela: Hizballah-linked oil minister resigns in corruption probe
- Israeli intelligence foils secret Hizballah drug smuggling operation in South America
- Iran: Islamic regime eyes Venezuela as sanctuary for fallen leaders
- Iran begins refining 100,000 barrels per day of crude oil in Venezuela
- Venezuela provides Iran with 1,000,000 hectares of ‘farmland for cultivation’
Similarly, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth issued a statement on US Africa Command (AFRICOM) strikes in Somalia, highlighting the jihad threat to American citizens:
Our initial assessment is that multiple operatives were killed in the airstrikes and no civilians were harmed. This action further degrades ISIS’s ability to plot and conduct terrorist attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians and sends a clear signal that the United States always stands ready to find and eliminate terrorists who threaten the United States and our allies, even as we conduct robust border-protection and many other operations under President Trump’s leadership.
AFRICOM announced ten months ago that its airstrikes in Somalia “managed to kill their main target: Ahmed Maeleninine, an ISIS recruiter, financier, and leader responsible for the deployment of jihadists to the United States and Europe.” That was quite some time before Trump’s recent activity in Somalia.
Even farther back, in 2016, Trump warned that Somali migrants were a disaster for Minnesota, stating further: “Some of them [are] joining Isis and spreading their extremist views all over our country and all over the world.”
As it turns out, a decade later: The US spent $10 billion and sacrificed 42 American lives trying to help Somalia, and what did America get for it? The discovery that the Minnesota taxpayer had become the largest funder of the Somali jihad terror group al-Shabab.
Before Trump, the red-green axis was advancing virtually unopposed in America, and Joe Biden’s calculated open-border scheme nearly sealed its victory. The globalist left is Marxist in ideology and acts as water carriers for Islamic supremacists.

Well now, by cracky, all those somalian “refugees” who have found it so convenient to steal from Americans and threaten those expose the theft….as Nick Shirley has been doing….can go home.
Like the vultures they are, they can fly away. Leading the flock, should be ilhan elmi, alias (name taken to illegally enter the U.S.) omar and her offspring.
Like Clint, I would enjoy hearing she had done that, and would say to her beforehand, “Go ahead. Make my day.” Leave the same way you came….without a dime.

So he’s busy doing all this in Somalia, but for some inexplicable reason, can’t lift a finger on Iran?
OLD GUY says
America can’t do it all. So saying that how about we take care of America first and clean our own house of illegal migrants and crooked politicians.

Don’t do that. How are our Somali refugees gonna be able to do their annual vacation back home safely?
