ICE agents are trying to do their job, while lawless revolutionaries on the left are working together in support of illegal migration. Minnesota is the best exhibit America has seen on its soil of the red-green alliance. The “globalize the intifada” movement was seasoned on campuses across the country; in all major cities, revolutionary-minded leftists saw the effectiveness of the disruptive pro-Hamas protests. Black Lives Matter also prepared the soil for revolution (never mind its wire fraud and money laundering of millions, after playing leftists for fools).
Leftist Americans are supporting, whether they recognize it or not: the lawlessness that is seen in the northern triangle (Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador), Mexico, and in countries where jihadists run rampant, such as Somalia (a lawlessness thatb has now been brought to America).
America is at the edge of a precipice. Rep. Ilhan Omar also cultivated Palestinian violence and revolution, and now she has stated: “ICE cannot be reformed, it cannot be rehabilitated, we must abolish ICE for good, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign or face impeachment.” The apparent attack upon her led to “a rare show of bipartisanship in the face of political violence” as Fox News reported, but there are questions about whether the attack was authentic or staged. Unlike Democrats, Republicans support the rule of law. This is exactly what the melee in Minnesota is all about: stoking lawlessness.
Here is the irony: Republicans are rebuking lawless behavior and violence, while Ilhan Omar and other Democrats are stoking it. Democrats are appalled when that same violence is turned on them but yet, they support much worse against ICE agents who are doing their jobs to keep America safe.
House Republicans are coalescing around progressive “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., after she was attacked during a town hall in Minneapolis on Tuesday night.
“This is totally unacceptable. I am glad Rep. Omar is okay,” Rep. Pete Stauber, R-Minn., wrote on X in response to a video of the incident.
It’s a rare show of bipartisanship in the face of political violence that has become common in recent years amid increasingly volatile rhetoric on both sides.
Support for Omar came from both conservative and moderate Republicans after a man appeared to confront her and spray a substance on her before he was quickly subdued at her public event.
“Political, religious, and ideological differences never justify violence,” Rep. Nathaniel Moran, R-Texas, wrote of the attack. “Those who resort to violence to make a political point should understand that such actions only undermine the very rights that form the foundation of our Republic.”
Rep. Tom Barrett, R-Mich., noted that political violence against members of Congress had been escalating for some time.
“The assault on Congresswoman Omar is disturbing and unacceptable, and the attacker must be prosecuted and punished to the full extent of the law,” he said in his own statement. “This attack is the latest of thousands of acts and threats of violence directed against Congress over the past year, resulting in a 57% increase just since 2024.”…

I guess Republican elected officials have to condemn any attack on Ilhan Omar, to demonstrate that they are better than Dems. However, I don’t believe in unilateral disarmament. Dems have long thrown away any semblence of civility, when they openly celebrate the murder of people they disagree w/, like Charlie Kirk. Assuming that this was not a staged incident – which is a big assumption, and something that I don’t put beyond Dems, I’m only disappointed that Ilhan wasn’t somewhat incapacitated in her ability to continue her jihad against this country

Anyone who is a public figure would just brush off getting splashed with mystery liquid in a “terror attack” and not even end the event get a change of cloths why no concern about ill after effects? Why on concern for the rest of the people in attendance if this was a dangerous poison or bio agent ? The guy that did it did not move that fast and look drunk or high sitting in the front drew no attention from her security team?

Yes, WPM. The *normal* procedure would be to clear the room; take the names of the audience members so they can be contacted later if the ‘mystery’ stuff was something like ricin or anthrax.
Get the pol somewhere to be examined, etc. It was no “attack.” It was a hoax and many fell for it.

It was a planned event….no danger came to her and she was not surprised.
If she had been walking down the street or speaking somewhere and had not planned for someone to throw something at her, when it happened, her face would have shown surprise and she would have jumped back. She did neither.
And when the guy stood up and started in her direction, no one else moved until he reached her and spilled the vinegar on her blouse. Had it not been planned, her body guards would have intervened to get between her and the so-called ‘attacker.’
