Omar is under a cloud lately for her highly suspicious financial dealings, and could even be indicted. What better time to play the victim card? But this incident reeks of inauthenticity. She appears to make eye contact with her attacker just before he gets up, as if she is signaling to him that the time for the attack had come. She walks toward him after he sprays the liquid on her, instead of running away, as any person undergoing an unexpected attack would be likely to do. And she calmly continues her speech, without any apparent concern for the possibility that the substance could be lethal and that she should go wash it off.
Both leftists and Muslims in the U.S. have demonstrated a strong affinity for claiming victimhood, demanding special privileges or consideration in light of the alleged threat they’re experiencing from “MAGA extremists” or “Islamophobes.” They play the victim card with extreme skill in a variety of contexts, attempting to intimidate their critics into silence and give themselves a patina of nobility all in one fell swoop. Omar’s spraying incident, as transparently fake as it is, is one of the clumsiest examples of this technique, but it’s understandable, after having been coddled for years, that Omar would assume that she could get away with anything, no matter how flimsy.
The “Spray Job” on Ilhan Omar was a false flag. Notice how she makes eye contact with “perpetrator” as a signal. #Minneapolis https://t.co/jAYXrdJ4Oi pic.twitter.com/cmyYTqm94p

“‘Staged’ trending on X as MAGA distance themselves from Ilhan Omar attack,” by Charlie Jones, Mirror, January 28, 2026:
Conspiracy theories about an attack on Democrat lawmaker Ilhan Omar are spreading like wildfire on social media as MAGA fanatics try and distance themselves from the worrying incident.
A man sprayed an unknown substance on Omar before being tackled to the ground Tuesday during a town hall in Minneapolis. Thankfully, Omar appears unhurt.
In the immediate aftermath of the attack, the term ‘staged’ started trending on X, with many prominent MAGA accounts claiming it was a setup by Omar’s team.
Donald Trump himself poured fuel on that fire when he responded to a question about the attack saying: “No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”
The attack came hours after President Donald Trump criticized Omar as he spoke to a crowd in Iowa, saying his administration would only let in immigrants who “can show that they love our country.”
“They have to be proud, not like Ilhan Omar,” he said, drawing loud boos at the mention of her name.
Footage from the meeting shows the man sitting in the front row before getting up and approaching the Congresswoman. Just before that Omar had called for the abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment.
The audience cheered as the man was pinned down and his arms were tied behind his back. In the video of the incident, someone in the crowd can be heard saying, “Oh my god, he sprayed something on her.”
Police identified the man as 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak with details about the suspect still emerging.
There was a strong, vinegar-like smell after the man pushed on the syringe, according to reporters at the scene. Photos of the device, which fell to the ground when he was tackled, showed what appeared to be a light-brown liquid inside. There was no immediate word from officials on what it was.
Omar, who appeared rattled after the incident, said she didn’t know what the liquid was but continued speaking at the podium…

Yes, the consensus on multiple sites is that it was faked for all the reasons mentioned above. I wonder if any muslima, as they come from an acid attack environment, would be brushing off a real attack. She had her, “We’re gonna keep talking” line ready; a bit odd to me.
She has the origin of $30M to hide as well as to draw on to pay for stunts.

This is the same bait and switch tactic Waltz used by taking the heat off the corruption probes. His ICE rioters took the spotlight.
She’s hoping this will cause less focus on her “illicit earnings”.

Anyone notice the smirky smile just after the goon squirts her? It’s very brief, but it’s there.
There was no shocked look. No surprise. No looking down at the clothing (that would have been the normal thing when surprised by such an action) which caught the spray.
And a syringe? What damage was expected from a syringe? Squirted on her clothing?
And she runs after the guy? Is that what people do when they get ‘sprayed’ with an unknown substance by a stranger? Surrounded by big guys, she pretended to run after him.
He didn’t spray it at her face, but at her blouse. And then she *bravely* runs after him as if to beat him up? Make him pay? Make him pay for the laundry?
muzzies are infamous for their hoaxes. She couldn’t have him ripping at the scarf, so she arranges something which she believes will seem sinister.
It’s a sham intended to get the public to sympathize with her, forget her other scams and demand that the president back off.

Apple cider vinegar!

That was my thought too. And my daughter suggested the same. The snake said it was bad smelling, but that’s for two reasons…..to make it look worse, and because she is unclean.

Bu, bu, bu, but it was acid! (less than 5% acetic acid) It might have landed on a zit and caused some pain. And what about the stained high-fashion “turban”? Who’s gonna’ pay for that? Eh?
somehistory says
Did it reach her ugly face?
If it was apple cider vinegar, it may have been diluted so that if some droplet actually landed on skin, no pain.
All a setup to make her look like a victim instead of a victimizer and thief.

Sorry if this double post.
Yes, Mr. Smith, it does get tiresome, this taking a bite out of sh. The fact that sh is Christian does not forbid her from holding frauds and liars in contempt; rather it means she should be especially good at spotting them and have particular credibility when she warns others.
I prefer to be warned and see frauds exposed and dealt with, so sh is treating me as she would treat herself. “Be wise as serpents…” (Matthew 10:16). Christians, PCRS, are not called to be gullible, powerless fools.

PRCS USN (ret) says
it’s not because she’s a Christian, rather because she’s a hypocrie.
She shold, HoiPolloi, hold frauds and liars in contempt for their frauds and lies, not their physical appaerance; as I hold her in contempt for hers.
To reiterate: the “Golden Rule”: Christians are instructed to treat others as they would want to be treated, which excludes mocking and ridicule.

Typos, for which I alone take responsibility.
Hoi Polloi says
But sh is only being charged as a hypocrite due to your knowledge that she’s Christian and due to your idea of Christianity, which you claim she fails to uphold. Ugly character shows through. Sh called her ugly and that haughty sneer Ilscam Abdullah Omar Nur Said Elmi Mohamed Mynett wears as she steals and lies is indeed ugly. At worst, sh is too truthful.

PRCS, the idea that if you criticize someone who wants to destroy you and your civilized society makes you a “hypocrie” (sic) is mistaken.
Robert Spencer is Christian and he also dares criticize the savagery of Islam–child rape, slavery, mass murder–does this also make him a hypocrite?

If the liquid was camel urine, he could argue that she looked unwell and he was trying to help her.
The way she moved toward the attacker looked aggressive, similar to the way many black women react when they feel “disrespected”.

Yeah, assuming that this was not a setup, he should have collected camel urine (granted, it’s hard in a country w/ no camels, not counting 🚬) and then thrown it on her. She would have been purified 😈

Hmm. This does seem odd that it happened on the heels of the fraud investigation. Ilhan Omar does like attention, particularly when she can insult the U.S. The investigation will have to play out and see what that finds. Just remember what Rep. Warren stated: “People can only be pushed so far.” Maybe this guy was pushed too far. I looked at these photos and the comments that his “MAGA” label seems off base.

What does an atheist know about what Christ approves? A whole lot less than what he thinks he knows. He just tries to needle me.
Thanks again.
PRCS USN (ret) says
I call you out for your fraudulence and numerous deceits.
Per your own reference, Jesus, unlike you mocked not their physical appearance, as that would violate The Golden Rule. He decried their behavior: as I imagine He would yours.
And being the pious Christian you purport to be, surely you’ll soon apologize for what Hoi Polloi and John Smith may not have seen: the lie you concocted–and posted–that I had stated a desire to molest little children.
And of course, as you know, this atheist grew up in a Christian family.
