Tucker Carlson Doesn’t Know Anyone Who’s Been ‘Killed by Radical Islam’

Like his curious counterpart, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson wants you to relax. When asked in an interview published Saturday about a TPUSA poll showing that AmFest ranked “radical Islam” as the greatest threat to America, Carlson responded in a way that is becoming habitual for him: he blamed the Jews. At the same time, he downplayed the idea that there was much of any threat coming from Islam, radical or otherwise, at all.

The claim that there is such a threat, Carlson claimed, “comes from the Israeli government and its many defenders and informal employees in the United States, of course.” Carlson didn’t explain whether he thought that the Israeli government had actually masterminded the jihad attacks that have taken place in the United States in recent years, faking the entire thing, or was just exaggerating the threat those attacks represented for its own purposes. Unfortunately, he wasn’t asked.

Instead, Carlson went on to downplay the jihad threat by relating it to his personal experience:

I mean, I don’t know how they responded to the poll. I don’t know who answered it, but I believe in measuring reality a little more empirically. And I don’t know anyone in the United States in the last 24 years who’s been killed by radical Islam. I do know a lot of people who have killed themselves. I know people who’ve died of drug ODs, more than a few. I know people who can’t get jobs. None of the boys in my daughter’s class can get jobs, none of those white boys can get jobs. They’re being destroyed by Adderall and video games and porn.

Giving the devil his due, I would be remiss if I didn’t note that Carlson’s point here has been widely misrepresented. He did not claim that there have been no Americans killed in jihad attacks over the last 24 years. He just said that he didn’t know anyone personally who was killed in a jihad attack, and was trying to give the impression that this meant that such attacks are vanishingly rare, and that there are a great many problems that are more pressing.

What Carlson doesn’t acknowledge, and likely does not know, is that the threat from “radical Islam” that he downplays is much bigger than he thinks, for it is not actually “radical” at all, but quite mainstream. All the major sects of Islam and schools of Islamic jurisprudence teach that Muslims must wage war against non-Muslims and subjugate them under the hegemony of Islamic law. This is not a “hijacking” of Islam or the twisted view of a tiny sect; whether or not any individual Muslim acts upon it, it is a central teaching of the dominant strains of Islam.

    I simply stated that as every antisemite of record leaves the question of blame or cause incomplete…permitting their sycophants to fill in the blank.

    • The main reason for the unemployment part of it is a combination of offshoring, immigration and automation. That’s not driven by Jews: it’d driven by business interests that have today gone global and are no longer about benefiting the communities from where they originated from

      I’ll bet that there are a number of Jews who’d agree w/ him on that: not everyone is a Ben Shapiro

    That term perpetuates the ‘not all like that’ distraction.

    The ideology does not kill people. Its followers do. Yes, it’s Muslims who do that.

    Qur’an reading Muslims.

    Putting aside his inane remarks about islam, I will give him his due, as Robert suggests. Adderall is an issue, and hopefully, RFK’s team is doing a holistic overhaul about the over-prescription of drugs. Porn is an offshoot of the excessive de-sexualization of tweens, at an age when they should be looking to socialize, marry and have kids, and it’s this 4th wave of feminism that has destroyed it. Video games too is something that is a result of the lack of socialization. When people don’t get to do things in groups and are forced to do things alone – and this long preceded Covid-19, – video games are one of those things, since computers can’t refuse to play

    But all of these things are things we can control: it’s up to our institutions to dismantle the socio-economic pressures that drive us to these. What is not in our control is jihad, as long as we allow muslims to be in our midst. I miss the old Tucker when he used to have Mark Steyn on, either as guest or as guest-host. The latter would have been a far better influence on him than his new Qatari pals

  8. Tucker Carson by his own words he had exposed just how ignorant he really is because those two words “Radical Islam” ? is Western term that is unknown that is Middle East. As the devout Muslims President of Turkey had said it best, for he, rightly declared that ” Islam is Islam.”

    Furthermore, because of Islam, Muslim terrorists jihad malicious murderous jihad violence will continue because of the basic root ideology of Islamic terrorists is based on the theology of Islam’s “holy book” the Qur ‘an. For the Qu ‘ran instructs in the use of violence and killing for the advancement of Islam. As found in, for example, 2:191. 5:33. 9:5, 111.123. 47:4. Therefore Islam is a false, dangerous and deadly religion.

    The terms “Radical Islam” as well as “ Islamic extremism” Western terms and unknown in the Muslim world. Therefore, those words not fitting term as the following explains.

    For the terms Islamic extremism” and “Islamic extremist” as well as “Radical Muslim” is actually a misuse of terms. “Moderate Muslim” are actually Western term and not that well known in the Islamic Middle East.

    This is because what In the Islamic mindset in the Muslim Middle East as well as in Indonesia and other Muslim controlled countries what the non-Muslims of the Western nations view as “radical and “extremist” the Muslims of those places in the world see as “Normal” and even Devout and committed to the Cause of Islam.”

    In addition, those “Moderate Muslims” are those of the Islamic worldview and non-devout and non –committed Muslims. The violent jihadists even see them as “hypocrites.” Therefore, this explains the jihadist chant of those jihad-minded Muslims in different Islamic terror organizations. When they chant aloud “Death to infidels and hypocrites.” Meaning Death to people who and not Muslims and people who are non- jihadist Muslims.

    Concerning the last part of this above essay, the violent spirit of that vicious jihadist chant “Death to infidels and hypocrites.” The later word of the chant “hypocrites” in the jihad –minded Muslim worldview is further explain in the book titled JIHADIST PSYCHOPATH by Jamie Glazov , for on page 42 the reader is informed that “Islam mandates that devout and real Muslims must punish , and in some circumstances kill, those Muslims whom they regard as neither legitimate nor properly devout.”

    For those two words put together which is “Radical Islam ” that is a Western term which is unknown in the Middle East Likewise the term “Islamic extremists”is also a Western term that the Muslim of the middle East don’t have. Therefore ,what Westerners might seen as a “Radical Muslim ” or as a “Islamic extremist,” most Muslims of the Middle East seen fron an Islamic worldview would considered to be a “devout Muslim” or a “Muslim totally committed to Islam.

  11. Carlson is not ignorant or stupid. What he does is with full knowledge and intentional. He does it for benefit. He is rewarded for distracting us from the threat of Islam. He is Tokyo Rose incarnate.

  12. Most people on earth probably don’t personally know someone who was killed by Radical Islam or just plain Islam. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening in fairly large numbers. Tucker of all people should know and acknowledge that.
