October 7 was an eye-opener to the West on just how barbaric jihadists are. More recently, public American figures including Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz and Bill Maher have highlighted the genocide and displacement of Christians in Nigeria.
The Nigerian government denies all this, saying that what is happening is not Muslim persecution of Christians, but conflicts between Muslim groups. However, when Muslim groups are fighting each other, both sides of the war focus their brutal attacks on Christians, who suffer the worst, from forced conversions to church and village burnings and beheadings.
The Muslim persecution of Christians has been going on for as long as the jihad itself. Not even the Vatican has paid due attention to this. Nor has any other Christian denomination. “Dialogue” has become the golden calf among Christians, requiring silence about their persecution at the hands of the partners in dialogue. There are exceptions, such as Open Doors and similar organizations which are dedicated to raising awareness about the persecution of Christians. Islamic countries have overwhelmingly dominated the Open Doors list of the worst places in the world for Christians.
As the article below points out, although Nigeria has been in the media cycle recently, Muslim persecution of Christians isn’t restricted to Nigeria. It’s happening across Africa, and spreading fast.
The Muslim persecution of Christians is also now spreading into Western countries, given the magnitude of Muslim migration from Africa and the Middle East, and anti-Christian hatred coming primarily from the far left.
“Not Just Nigeria: Across Africa, Christians Endure Burned Villages, Forced Conversions, Attacks On Nuns And Priests, And Murders And Beheadings – MEMRI Research Reveals A Widening Jihadi Threat,” by Steven Stalinsky, MEMRI, November 19, 2025:
For the past five years, MEMRI has been monitoring, tracking, researching, and publishing reports and video clips documenting the escalating campaign of violence against Christian communities across Africa, and alerting the Christian world to it – long before this crisis has received wider recognition in policy circles or media. This past month, jihadi groups’ brutal targeting of Christians across the continent has finally drawn attention, including from Senator Ted Cruz and President Trump.
While others have been focusing solely on Gaza, MEMRI has, in addition to our Gaza focus, been monitoring primary-source messaging, recruitment materials, and claims of attacks by jihadi groups operating across Africa – not only in Nigeria, but also across the African Sahel, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) – showing that they are explicitly framing Christians as strategic targets in their ideological and military campaigns.
For example, just this week, on November 14 and 15, Islamic State (ISIS) African affiliates in Central Africa (ISCAP), Mozambique (ISMP) and West Africa (ISWAP) took credit, in a post on X, for having killed 33 Christians, including three who were beheaded, and for burning down more than 150 homes and three churches in Mozambique, Nigeria, and the DRC.
Only recently, as casualty numbers rise, mass displacement worsens, and these groups expand into new regions, have governments and global institutions begun to acknowledge the true scale and intent of this threat. As policymakers turn their attention to it, the path forward should emphasize strengthening on-the-ground intelligence sharing, supporting local security forces and community resilience efforts, and prioritizing research that tracks ideological messaging – not just battlefield activity – so that emerging threats can be identified before they escalate further….

Yeah. If North Africa – the Mediterranean coast from Egypt to Morocco and then some adjoining areas like Mali, Mauritania,… were islamized centuries ago, now is the turn of the rest of not just North Africa, but the continent as well. Given how dysfunctional every country on that continent is (except maybe Angola?), it looks like there won’t be too much of a resistance to an islamic takeover

You wont hear a word about this from so called African Americans in the USA because they are too busy whining about their plight here in America. If whites come to the aid of other of whites in the world they all call us racists.
So what. I dont care.
tgusa says
So what. I dont care. Yes, as a white American guy I do care about the plight of black Africans. But we are all alone in that.
Michael Paul Skok says
Trump promised quick action to fight against anti-Christian violence. If he doesn’t deliver soon, he will be recognized merely as a paper tiger.
tgusa says
That is true but if we want to talk about paper tigers look at the blacks in America that call themselves African Americans.
Hoi Polloi says
I recently watched video of some black US citizens who left the US for Africa. They said that the US is racist (their words) but that Africa is unlivable. They returned to live in the US. They had not one word to say about any of the slaughter there.
tgusa says
If they think America is racist they wont like China or Russia one bit.

Thanks to the migration invasion of Islam around the world this will be coming to a neighborhood near all of us non-islamic people sooner than we think. Islam has but one goal, that is to totally dominate the world with their religion and laws. This will be one bloody and horrible fight if we continue to allow the migration of Muslim/Islamic followers into our countries.

It is happening in Uganda and Kenya as well. EVERY currently majority-non-Islamic country in Africa that has a sizeable mohammedan resident minority (whether historic, or of recent origin – the hijra, the tactic of immigration-invasion, has been and is being used in Africa exactly as in Europe) is experiencing Muslim attacks on Christians (or any other variety of non-Muslims; those who follow African traditional beliefs are targets too). Countries that are NOT officially ‘Islamic’ are under assault from within and from without.
(I know about this because I receive the regular newsletters from Barnabas Fund/ Barnabas Aid, which was founded by an apostate from Islam who became a Christian). It is a grim catalogue of ongoing mayhem in country after country.

Yes–and yet, far too many in the West have no clue about this.
