It is high time that America takes the Sharia as seriously as do Sharia-adherent countries and Islamic scholars. “Europe should be a wakeup call to America, showing what the spread of Sharia law looks like – the erosion of the West….
Yet leftists, serving as water carriers for Sharia supremacists, have for years dismissed the Sharia threat to the West. MSNBC recently published a ridiculous piece entitled “The sudden Republican fixation on ‘Sharia law’ is getting increasingly weird.” The author of the article, Steve Benen, has been asleep, or wants to make sure that Americans keep sleeping.
The internet is full of top Islamic scholars and authorities promoting the Sharia. These include al-Azhar in Cairo; the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), where Sheikh Ali Al-Yousuf praised the Muslim migrant teen who beheaded French teacher Samuel Paty; the Muslim Brotherhood; and Islamic countries including Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Syria. The Sharia is enshrined as immutable, divine law in Islam and is deemed supreme. With open-door migration —to which leftists generally ascribe — it doesn’t take a genius to recognize what has been transported into Western countries.

In Minnesota, which has a significant Muslim population, Sharia supremacism is increasingly problematic. There is also the College of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota.
The dangers associated with the advancing Sharia in the West are numerous, while leftists remain in denial, burying their heads in the sand and hoping that others will do the same. Paradoxically, leftists invariably advocate for DEI doctrines which Sharia utterly rejects; also LGBTQ+++ behavior is, under Sharia, punishable by death.
Meanwhile, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has sent out an Action Alert to “tell Ron DeSantis to stop wasting time with Israel first political stunts like ‘No Sharia Act.’” Nothing else could possibly expected from CAIR, which was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism funding trial in the history of the United States.
Andrew McCarthy illustrates the dangers of Islamic doctrine for American society, and more broadly for Western culture, when he explained the term “unindicted co-conspirators”:
The Muslim Brotherhood and its American satellites are working to undermine the United States from within and to destroy Israel by any possible means, including terrorism. The Brotherhood can hide the list. After all, we should never have seen it in the first place. They can’t hide the evidence — no matter how much help they get from their friends in and out of government. That bell can’t be unrung.
CAIR was also identified among entities “who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and/or its organizations” in the Holy Land Foundation trial. It serves CAIR’s purposes and advances its goals to intentionally minimize the dangers of the Sharia publicly while promoting it stealthily.
Most “weird” is the leftist ignoring of the Sharia in the face of overwhelming evidence, but Chip Roy, among others, have been paying attention.

Sharia in not in compliance with any other national laws other that what is practiced in Islamic nations. One point in his book was that we needed special courts to deal with these cases, especially, when agents had infiltrated terror networks. It’s actually because of the First Amendment that these guys are putting forth a bill to ban something which claims a religious base, but infringes on the Constitutional Rights of everyone else.
Had snake handlers and parents who don’t believe in doctors and medicine been in very large numbers with so-called “civil rights” organizations (think cair) suing at every turn, there would need to be laws against those things too.
The First Amendment says a lot, but it doesn’t spell out Freedom for many things that some may do as a demand of their ‘religion.’
