British authorities are dealing with this in the same way they dealt with Muslim rape gangs: they do nothing, for fear of being called “Islamophobic.” And in a few years, many of these prisoners are going to be out on the streets.

Two of London’s most notorious prisons allegedly have Sharia courts set up by inmates inside.
According to anti-terror specialist Sir Jonathan Hall, lags at Belmarsh and Whitemoor prisons – and possibly others – have been taken over by certain “charismatic…self-styled emirs”.
He made the comments in his review of how terrorism is being dealt with inside prisons.
Sir Jonathan also claimed that prison staff are unable to do their jobs properly because they are “worried about making false assumptions based on a lack of cultural familiarity with Islam or Muslims”.
And if any fellow prisoners are found to be making, what the Sharia court “judges” deem to be comments which fall foul of their rules, there are enforcers on hand to “flog them” and make them do “menial tasks” such as cleaning ceilings – they are also banned from using the showers and kitchens unless they stick to a halal diet….

It is madness that British authorities are allowing this. They are not protecting vulnerable prisoners in their care.
Then, even if they don’t care about this, they *should* at least realize that this is enabling Jihadists and those they convert to Islam in prison. They all present a greater threat to all Britons, in prison and out.

Actually, Fitna, separate prisons for Muslims is a very real possibility in UK. And they will be run by Muslims as well.

Certainly a possibility. But this is not a perfect solution, either, as ordinary Muslim prisoners will likely emerge as full-blown Jihadists.
Really, most of these Muslims should be deported after serving their sentences.

A bit of a half truth as a former UK Prison Officer. Whilst they may happen in a very limited capacity – the real truth is the staffing levels are the biggest issue causing it all. Because of cuts there is one person on a landing alone with around 40 cons – a lot of whom are extremely violent. There is action and noise happening everywhere at every second. Anything that can be done to be safe is often taken, and some prisoners will offer to help out in ‘slight of hand’ ways. “there’s drugs in this fellas cell.. This chap is looking to hot water you”… No searches for them therefore. Not for a good snitch or somebody keeping you safe. It’s not like Officers are turning a blind eye – they love to put in IR’s (Intellegance Reports) and get accredited for them… It’s also that there is nobody to deal with any concerns. One or two people – regular wing staff going on a search.. Very dangerous. If an Officer does see something like Islamic Extremism – then what? There are stilll no staff to deal with it and it would take silly named agencies days at best to do anything – but likely longer; and then how much time does an Officer with 40 cons get to do anything like gather intellegance anyway that they would need? The agencies are all Politically Correct. The staffing issues are the main one, but combine that with P. C. agencies, personal safety the fact that Officers will never be able to gather enough evidence anyway to prove that they are otherwise not just ‘devout’ and that is a recepie for disaster.

Max, I’m afraid the implication that Muslims are mostly getting a free pass because the regularly work with Infidel authorities does not hold water.
Your claim that guards are too outnumbered and scared to tackle things like Sharia courts is likely the case, though. Of course, this is part of the problem.

Note missed out on the above thread. They always cry “racism” whenever anything happens. That is such a headache and is always investigated to the fullest. They are very cunning and will always use witnesses who weren’t there. Islamic extremism is small in UK jails but there is not much that can be done about it because of political correctness and the “racism” culture.

I don’t think that this is “small” in UK jails, alas. Muslims make up over 15% of the prison population there, and most Infidel males who convert to Islam do so in prison. These numbers are only apt to get worse, I’m afraid.
