Name of Montreal attacker on Jewish dad released, but no motive, Israeli leaders respond

The name of the 23-year-old man who viciously attacked a Haredi Jewish man in a park in front of his children has now been released. According to CBC News: “Sergio Yanes Preciado, is facing one count of assault causing bodily harm. So far, police and the Crown aren’t discussing the possible motive for the attack. The family of the victim says he strongly believes the incident was a hate crime.” The victim’s family has spoken out. See video HERE.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke with the victim, as the Israel Government Press Office reported:

President Isaac Herzog spoke this evening, Monday, with the Jewish Canadian man who was brutally assaulted in an antisemitic attack on the streets of Montreal, in full view of his children.

In the shocking footage that was published, the attacker is seen striking him repeatedly in the face and throwing his kippah into the water — all in front of his young children.

Joining the call was Yair Szlak, head of the Montreal Jewish Federation.

The victim of the attack thanked the President and told him of the attack and the aftermath.

President Herzog offered him comfort and strength and said: “We saw the horrific attack, and I want to send you, and your family, your beautiful children strength and comfort. May you have a swift recovery in body and soul from this terrible ordeal. We are with you and we are here for you. The whole Jewish people stands with you.”

The President invited him and his family to visit the President’s Residence in Jerusalem in the near future.

And Foreign minister Gideon Sa’ar stated:

  1. Local news in Montreal states that a judge has sent Preciado for a psych evaluation. “He was just crazy. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along now! Move along!”

  3. There’s no other people who get randomly attacked like this when their home country is at war. No one ever thought of randomly attacking a Russian because Putin levelled Grozny. These scumbags still think they can kick a Jew any time they feel like it. I’m so glad Jews have their country and an army now.

    Then the man is let out of jail the next day.
    In a year, after all the bad press has toned down the jjudge will turn the charge from a indictable offence to a summery conviction the far lesser of the two. This will enable the man to remain in Canada. Because if it an indictable offence it might jeopardize his ability to become a Canadian citizen .

    We are seeing this on a regular basis in Trudeau/Carneys liberal government. Protecting criminal economic migrant while failing to give Canadians even the least amount of protection.

    They have no idea how many people from the 3rd world are now in Canada. One example is from January of 2025 to April of 2025 they let 2 million people into Canada . If that 45% were from India and the rest from mostly North Africa.

    • The problem starts when you dump your Judeo-Christian Bible based culture, laws, principles, value system and heritage which you enjoyed for a woke liberal culture. Dumping Christian teaching and prayers in school classrooms for children makes the slide into the abyss just one generation away. Then the majority slides, goes more woke and you have “the liberal people of Canada and the losers that voted for this corrupt to the bone, dirty theiving bunch of criminals politicians” Think of a dummy like Trudeau and his party – elected into power for many a year and the damage done to Canada.   5. What a relief, he is not a muslim. So the name can be revealed without harming Islam. And even better, he is not black (I guess), he is white (I presume, CNN could say a look like black guy as a white guy, so please understand if I am prejudice against white). We can blame the whites.
