No humane person would be unsympathetic in the face of human suffering, which is an inevitable outcome of any war, including the war in Gaza. However, the responsible party at the heart of the humanitarian crisis stemming from the Israel-Gaza conflict is not Israel, but Hamas — a jihadist organization that is persistently absolved of accountability by the international community, as is the Palestinian Authority, which systematically rewards jihad “martyrdom.” Both seek Israel’s destruction.
Amid a global outcry over the suffering in Gaza, the EU leaders who are slamming Israel have yet to give any suggestions on how Israel should be dealing with those who aim to obliterate it.
Note Saudi Arabia’s key role in the aggressive push for Palestinian statehood. In 2024, Iran’s foreign minister went to Saudi Arabia “to discuss efforts to halt Israel’s incursions into Gaza and Lebanon.” Saudi Arabia blamed Israel for October 7, has demanded that it return to the pre-1967 borders (also known as the “Auschwitz borders”), and that it allow East Jerusalem to be established as the Palestinian capital. But too many voices have been hailing Saudi Arabia for “reforming” without paying attention to what the Saudis have really been up to. See more HERE. There is little wonder that Saudi Arabia (along with leftist France) is now leading the charge for “Palestinian statehood,” while Israel is increasingly demonized.
Leftist EU leaders have fallen for Hamas propaganda, but remain willfully blind to the existential threat Israel faces. And the jihad threat does not stop with Israel, which is on the frontlines of the global jihad. There’s a reason for the saying: “First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.” The same forces that threaten Israel are a grave threat to every free society.
“Recognition of Palestine roils European countries,” by Eddy Wax, Euractiv, August 4, 2025:
Israel is facing its fiercest European backlash in years. Amid worsening famine in Gaza, governments across the continent are stepping up pressure, with even Germany – the most stalwart of allies – hardening its tone.
Some EU member states are airlifting aid to Palestinians and pondering the idea of suspending Israel from the bloc’s flagship research programme, Horizon Europe. The phrase “diplomatic tsunami,” once coined by former Israeli officials to describe a sweeping wave of global backlash, is making a comeback, in Israel’s own media.
At the heart of Europe’s political debate this month is a contentious and long-standing question: should the bloc formally recognise a Palestinian state?
France and Saudi Arabia are leading the charge, aiming to build momentum before the UN General Assembly in September, during which more nations are expected to recognise Palestine. Given its sort of quasi-state status, recognition carries a weight more symbolic than practical – a powerful moral and political gesture, yet one unlikely to alter realities on the ground.
Several European nations – including Spain, Ireland, Slovenia and Norway – made the move last year. In recent weeks, the UK, Malta, and Finland have also made announcements in France’s footsteps.
But momentum is far from uniform. In several of the former communist EU states that once supported recognition, enthusiasm has cooled….

They may as well recognize the Islamic Republica of Paris and London while they’re at it.

Palestine is a fabrication, it no longer exists, Israel won the war. Winning a war, entitles conquered land acquisitions, to include GAZA and all surrounding, relinquished land.
Muslims = Atrocities, rapes, murders, jihad

Jerusalem should start telling Riyadh, behind closed doors, that there is a pricetag associated w/ publicly supporting a “Palestine” state in Judea, Samaria or anywhere near Israel. The Saudi practice of hide w/ the hares, hunt w/ the hounds needs to be ended
Kosh's Shadow says
The same Europe which largely willingly sent its Jews to the gas chambers is now empowering Hamas to finish the job.
But Israel won’t let that happen.

Rewarding Hamas with a state for kidnapping, raping, and murdering Isrealis is *insane*. They have not even pretended to become more moderate…

Young European boys and girls, especially Germans, are ignorant of the fact that those thugs that raped and beheaded their sisterhood are also a people that worship Adolf Hitler, so in fact they are supporting Nazism while being ashamed of the actions of their Grandfathers in Germany 80 plus years ago…
Help me make sense of this as common sense just aint common anymore.
