The Turkish ambassador to Pakistan “met with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to express Turkey’s support, describing India’s retaliatory action as an ‘unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.’ The Pakistani foreign ministry stated on X that both sides ‘discussed regional security concerns in depth’ and pledged close coordination.”
Unprovoked? India had every right to strike Pakistan, and now that it has, Pakistan’s Islamic supremacist supporters and Communist China are declaring their full support for Pakistan. Although China has called for “restraint” between India and Pakistan, it vowed support for Pakistan.
A Pakistani diplomat made a throat-slitting gesture toward Indians protesting the jihad attack, and Pakistani troops screamed “Allahu akbar” as they headed toward the country’s border with India.
Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now warning of the “serious risk” of full-scale war between India and Pakistan.
As India and Pakistan stand at the brink of war, it is important to note that both countries have nuclear weapons.
“Turkey, Azerbaijan back Pakistan after Operation Sindoor; Qatar urges restraint,” by Ria Amol Wadikar, Hindustan Times, May 7, 2025:
A nationwide civil defence mock drill is set to take place on Wednesday, May 7, across 244 districts in India, on directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs to states and Union territories to be prepared for “hostile” attacks amid standoff with Pakistan over the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 26 people were killed.
Terrorists, suspected to have links with Pakistan, opened fire at Baisaran meadow near the picturesque Jammu and Kashmir town of Pahalgam on April 22, killing 26 people, most of whom were tourists.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have been on the rise since then.
Though the nationwide mock drills are a simulation, the large scale of the operation may raise questions among the public.
Here’s a quick FAQ to clarify what to expect:
What is a mock drill, what’s the purpose?
The mock drills aim to test India’s readiness for emergency situations such as air raids, blackouts, and evacuations. According to an official communication, “Civil Defence is considered an integral component of Nation’s Passive Defence strategy. The implementation of Civil Defence measures in the vulnerable areas is governed by the Civil Defence Act, 1968”.
A Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) notice stated that in the current geo-political scenario, new and complex threats/challenges have emerged, hence, it would be “prudent that optimum Civil Defence preparedness in the States/UTs is maintained at all times.”
Will schools, colleges, and banks remain open?
Yes. All schools, colleges, banks, government offices, and other institutions are expected to remain operational. The drill is designed to integrate with daily routines without causing major disruptions.
Will there be power cuts or blackouts?
There may be brief blackout exercises in select locations, involving voluntary lights-off participation because among the key measures to be carried out during the mock drills is a ‘crash blackout’, which constitutes an emergency shutdown of lights and visible infrastructure designed to reduce the visibility of targets during potential air raids…..

War is breaking out right now, w/ Paki fighters & drones entering India, & getting intercepted. Similar to when the Iranians sent hundreds of drones & missiles at Israel last year
We’ll see how it plays out

In warring, there is no doubt of which nation would come out on top due to India’s larger population, however, should this become an extended war, there are signs that Pakistan may be underestimated due to buying non-Western arms. In the past, the old Soviet and early Chinese arms were considered inferior, albeit there has been real development since the end of the Soviet Empire(since 1990s).
The recent clash in which 5 of India’s jets were downed makes it appear the the Chinese J-17c is superior to the French Dassault Rafale, the mainstream Indian fighter jet. The J-16 was also considered the winning fighter jet in the competition with Russia and Belarus at the Aviadarts (Russia’s Top Gun) exercise.
Let’s hope this current crisis abates quickly. The nuke rattling of these two nations has ocurred several times before without a full-scale war, which if conducted would affect us all.

In today’s raid on India, 1 F-16 and 2 J-17s of Pakistan were downed, and they were said to be downed by S400s in India’s possession. There used to be some level of apprehension about how Pakistan may respond, but looks like one thing Modi has done right in recent weeks: he has finally given the Indian Army a free hand in responding
India has already destroyed Lahore’s Air Force base, and an Indian ship INS Vikrant has bombed the port of Karachi. Hopefully, India takes out any Paki bases that have their nuke launching missiles, such as Chagai, then Pakistan will only be capable of dirty bombs

Good to see a reversal, Infidel. I’m betting China will regret doing business with Pakistan, at some future time, when rudely discovering that any nation with a Muslim cleric-dominated government will eventually turn on them. “Bu-bu, but we’ve done so much for you with our one road initiative!” It seems they didn’t learn much about militant Islam by suppressing Uyghurs. One thing that never escapes the lips of militants, appreciation to an infidel.

Good and informative back and forth between Infidel and Westman. Thanks to both.

Islam should’ve been stopped years and years ago. Its too late now.
India is very weak and will suffer greatly.
The media will encourage the world to support Pakistan. The media showed no outrage over the mass killing of tourists in Kashmir, but they will show unrestrained outrage at any strikes on Pakistan by India. Because of India’s political-multicultural society their hands are tied and they are weak.
