Several airlines canceled flights to Ben-Gurion Airport for 24 hours following the Houthi missile strike that wounded six people.

In mid-April, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, chairman of the Saudi-based Gulf Research Center, stated that the Yemeni government was preparing an 80,000-soldier assault on Houthis in Hodeidah. Nothing has happened since. The Houthis are an Iranian proxy, and the group will continue to escalate against Israel and Western interests unless stopped.

Since Trump took office, partly due to his request, Israel has refrained from striking targets in Yemen.
Israel is set to retaliate to the Houthi missile launch at Ben-Gurion Airport on Sunday, following a decision made at the security cabinet later in the day.
Following the Houthi missile strike, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video that Israel has acted against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen in the past and will act again in the future.
“We’ve acted against them in the past, and we’ll act again in the future,” Netanyahu said.
“This isn’t a one-and-done, but there will be some big hits,” the prime minister continued….

How is Houthis attacking Israel a NeoCon conspiracy? Israel would be perfectly happy to live in peace, but they have these hostile groups at their throats. So they’re reacting no differently from how we would react were Mexico or Cuba to launch missiles at us: we would raze them
If there is any issue, it is Trump trying to force a negotiated settlement w/ Iran, rather than just giving Israel the green light to take out Iran’s nukes. Not a single American would be involved, other than any JDAMs or other weaponry we might sell to Israel. Iran may not be a direct security issue for us, but they are for Israel. It doesn’t make sense for any of our troops to be there, but it is essential for Israel to defuse that threat to themselves
As for Ukraine, I don’t see even a ceasefire happening: when Trump initially raised it, Putin, instead of taking some pretty generous US offers but insisting that they be in writing, increased his attacks on Ukraine. Only thing NeoCon warmongers would be regretting would be all of Ukraine’s arms purchases coming from Europe. All that said, we should pull out of NATO
