The leadership of the international Muslim ummah is not as divided as many think. For instance, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is united on the “Palestine cause” as “the central issue of the Ummah.”
The fatwa from the International Union of Muslim Scholars, proclaiming that armed jihad against Israel is obligatory for all Muslims, is a continuation of another fatwa, first released by the Islamic Scholars’ Forum (Muntada Al-‘Ulama’), which declared the same obligation for Muslims, and also expressed “support for Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups involved in fighting the Jewish state.” Specifically mentioned was the “occupation in Palestine.”
On the actual date of October 7, 2023, as Israel was still being savaged by Hamas, the Saudis, Qatar, and Iran blamed the “occupation” for the attack.
Last month, the jihadist Syrian leader, Mohammad al-Jolani, received a delegation from the International Union of Muslim Scholars; and three months before that, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and UN condemned Israel for a “dangerous land grab in Syria.” Saudi Arabia also issued a statement:
The assaults carried out by the Israeli occupation government, including the seizure of the buffer zone in the Golan Heights, and the targeting of Syrian territory confirm Israel’s continued violation of the principles of international law and its determination to sabotage Syria’s chances of restoring its security, stability and territorial integrity.
The gloves are coming off for the West, as what Jihad Watch has been warning about for over two decades becomes clearer. The International Union of Muslim Scholars is also calling for an “Islamic military alliance against Israel.”

On March 31, 2025, the Ijtihad [Independent Jurisprudential Reasoning] and Fatwa Committee of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), headquartered in Qatar, issued a brief ten-point fatwa about “the continuation of aggression on Gaza and violation of the ceasefire” by Israel, calling for all Muslims and Muslim countries to wage jihad against Israel.[1]
IUMS was founded in 2004 by Egyptian-born Sheikh Yousuf Al-Qaradawi, an important Muslim Brotherhood (MB) ideologue who lived in Qatar and was sponsored by its regime until 2018, when Ahmad Al-Raissouni took over leadership of IUMS. As documented in multiple MEMRI reports over the years, IUMS serves as a vital arm of the Qatari regime, which it uses to spread extremist anti-Western ideology, including incitement to jihad and terrorism, in keeping with the decades-long support Qatar has provided to various terrorist groups worldwide. IUMS clerics, including the group’s current head Ali Al-Qaradaghi, are known for disseminating extremist Islamic discourse, supporting terrorist organizations, justifying terrorism and jihad against Israel and the West, and promulgating antisemitic and homophobic rhetoric.[2]
The fatwa states that “it is obligatory for every capable Muslim in the Islamic world to wage armed jihad against the occupation in Palestine,” that Arab and Islamic states must immediately intervene militarily, and that “the Zionist enemy” must be “besieged at land, on sea, and in the air,” by closing waterways and airspace in Arab and Islamic states. It further calls to “supply the resistance militarily, financially, and legally.” Announcing it obligatory to urgently form an “Islamic military alliance to protect the ummah and repel the aggressors,” the fatwa declares normalizing relations with the “Zionist enemy” forbidden by shari’a, forbids providing Israel with petroleum or natural gas, and calls to reconsider the peace agreements which some Arab states have signed with the “occupying entity.” ……

Perhaps it is time to go to a “reactive” policy. If you state that armed action is required against Israel, then armed action against all supporting Islamic countries is required of Israel and Western Christian countries.
I think you would find that statements like what comes from the International Muslim ummah currently would quickly change. Delaying or placating these aggressive demands for action are simply taken as a display of weakness.

Problem is that Western Christian countries (or whats left of it after leftwing destruction of it) are in the suicidal state of actually building up a major Islamic presence that is rapidly approaching critical mass, and is presently dictating to the host country Islamic laws, holidays, religious observances and replacing Christian churches and culture with Mosques, Islamic doctrine and mindset. Israel is the last stand against Muslim hegemony and Arab imperialism.
The naive elites facilitate this rapid approach to a major Islamic presence and dominance in the host country by allowing the illegal Muslim invasion to continue with fake claims of persecution and seeking refuge from their Muslim countries. Once refugee status is gained and even citizenship handed out the next thing you witness is the fake Muslim refugee starts vacationing in their Muslim country of origin. And so the cycle continues. Citizens of the host country are completely duped.

This is actually more significant than it may seem.
“Fard” signifies a mandatory act or duty in Islamic law, encompassing actions that are essential for a Muslim to perform and are considered sinful if neglected.
Types of Fard:
Fard Kifaya: An obligation that applies to the Muslim community as a whole, but not necessarily to every individual. For example, the Janazah (funeral) prayer must be offered for every deceased Muslim, but it is sufficient if a group of Muslims attend, and the rest are free from sin.
Fard Ayn: An obligation that applies to every individual Muslim who is mature, healthy, and sane. Examples include the five daily prayers.
Up until now, Fard Kifiya applied re Israel–so long as *some* Muslims were tryng to destroy Israel, all was well.
But now *every* Muslim is supposed to be direectly involved. Since not all Muslim can travl to Gaza, expect more funding of Jihad against Isral, and far more attacks on Jews around the world.
And will anyone consider the International Union of Muslim Scholars “extreme”? I doubt it…

These scholars just stated what is truth: Reliance of the Traveller: Islamic Sacred Law Chapter 9 titled Jihad states to kill Jews where ever you may find them.
No matter what a Muslim tells you about jihad just remember Islamic Law, sharia demands that Muslim are supposed to kill Jewish people.
