Violence and threats against journalists abroad who are reporting about Iran is recognized internationally and condemned, even by the largely useless UN. And the regime’s targeting is ramped up during times of uprising.

Alinejad also stated on social media that “the murder plot was bigger than her and a matter of national security.” The US State Department has long recognized that Iran’s “brutality and amorality know no international boundaries.”
Recognizing it is one thing, but confronting the regime’s violation of a foreign government’s borders and boundaries in plots to commit murder is another. Aside from Iran’s jihadist Middle East proxies, its nuclear ambitions, and interference in stirring anarchy in the West, the regime must pay dearly for its assassination plots, jihad missions and death threats abroad, and it must be stopped. Trump has a history of no-nonsense dealing with Iran, so one hopes that the regime’s day of reckoning is in the offing.

A federal jury convicted two European men in a plot to assassinate an Iranian-American journalist in exchange for $500,000 from the Iranian government, the Justice Department announced.
Rafat Amirov of Iran and Polad Omarov of Georgia were found guilty in connection with the 2022 murder-for-hire scheme, the Justice Department said in a Friday press release. The plot targeted Masih Alinejad, who is a staunch critic of the Iranian government.
“The Iranian regime’s brazen plot to silence and murder Americans will not be tolerated,” Sue J. Bai, head of the DOJ’s National Security Division, said in the release.
According to Alinejad’s nonprofit on compulsory hijab in Iran, she worked as a journalist covering the nation’s parliament for several years before leaving in 2009. Speaking to Trump in the post, Alinejad said the murder plot was bigger than her and a matter of national security.

The two jokers that were convicted are expendable as far as Iran is concerned. Iran will send additional assassins to our soil unless we retaliate militarily against them in an overwhelming destructive response. Destroying $2 billion of Iranian infrastructure, in my opinion, would be appropriate. Or destroying the Iranian Parliament building as a symbolic gesture would also work wonders.
Ms. Alinejad Is still in jeopardy.

Alinejad should be more honest by saying Islamists hate everything that is non Islamic and every non muslim too, they even hate their muslim fellows who do not in line with what their own principle.
