A conference presented by Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada has been open on social media about establishing Khilafah (an Islamic caliphate) in Canada. It’s causing surprise and alarm. “Warmington: Mississauga mayor says radical Islam conference not welcome,” by Joe Warmington, Toronto Sun, January 3, 2025:
The hunt is on to determine just where a radical Islamic conference aimed at defeating the “colonialists” is set to take place in Mississauga.
While scheduled to be held Jan. 18, so far the location is a secret. What isn’t secret is the meeting’s theme.
“The Khilafah, eliminating the obstacles that are delaying its return,” states a social media post promoting the conference, where people are encouraged to sign up for the event put on by Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada.
On its website, Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada describes itself as a “political party whose ideology is Islam, so politics is its work and Islam is its ideology.”
Khilafah means Caliphate, which is a society run by Islamic rule. Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada has so far not commented…..

Jihad Watch has been warning about the jihad (stealth and violent) for decades, as well as about the 1,400-year quest to conquer infidel lands. It was successful in the Middle East, with Israel as the exception, but the mission continues.
The big irony reflected in the upcoming Hizb ut-Tahrir conference is that it is drawing condemnation from many who have in other contexts been influential in boosting the goals of Islamic supremacists who seek global dominance. One such critic of the upcoming conference is Mississauga mayor Carolyn Parrish.

Yet In November, Parrish defended a planned Hamas vigil, and even compared Yahya Sinwar to Nelson Mandela. The event was subsequently canceled amid a severe backlash, no thanks to Parrish. Hamas’ goals are no different from those of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
Hamas Political Bureau member and former Minister of the Interior Fathi Hammad has openly stated that the Palestinians are preparing to establish a global Islamic caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital. The Palestinian “cause” is part of the Hizb ut-Tahrir conference.
Bit by bit, the Islamic quest to reestablish a caliphate is becoming more evident, while all too many Westerners still believe Islam is a religion of peace. Every serious global Islamic institute and government supports the Sharia, which is deemed to be divine law in Islam. Is it peaceful?
It isn’t prudent to focus on peaceful Muslims and try to discern who they are, any more than it is to allocate resources to seeking out peaceful citizens while crime is soaring. The very reason for the existence of the police and military isn’t peaceful citizens, but to deal with lawbreakers and national security threats. The focus must be on the threat to peaceful citizens of all races and creeds. During the years of the Nazi advance, the focus wasn’t on peaceful Germans.
No theology or ideology that is practiced as an open threat to free societies should be tolerated in Western countries.
For example, take a look at these people who are threatening the rule of law in Canada as they shout for an “intifada revolution” in public. Where are police? Where are the government officials who oppose hatred and violence?
Support for Hamas is no different from supporting the Hizb ut-Tahrir group that is calling for Khilafah in Canada.

Q… What are Islamic institutions and Imams doing to keep their faithful from becoming jihadists and deciding to take the killing sanctioned by the Quran literally?
Islamic theology is encourages unconstitutional activity from calling for the killing of apostates and blasphemers to striking the necks of the unbelievers. When will governments and courts recognize this not as protected religious expression but as a criminal conspiracy designed to advance political power?
