The Biden administration is urging the Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) jihadists in Syria to support “inclusive government,” despite the fact that HTS is an al-Qaeda offshoot that has given no genuine indication of having changed its beliefs or goals.
Sunni jihadists from HTS factions have already started targeting Christians, as everyone should have been expected all along. CNN gave the group’s leader Abu Mohammad al-Jawlani airtime; he said he’d respect minorities and that “no one has the right to erase another group.” Except that jihadists tell gullible leftists whatever they want to hear, and leftists believe them.
No one should have believed al-Jawlani. HTS factions have already began to target religious minorities. They desecrated a Greek Orthodox church, vandalized and destroyed its contents. They also broke their promise not to disrespect Shia shrines, and broke into Zeinab’s shrine near Damascus.
Violence against religious minorities will likely only escalate. Amid all the global cheering over the fall of the Assad regime, Syria is now being taken over by a violent jihad group that Erdogan has aided and the Taliban has celebrated. And not only the Taliban, but also al-Qaeda affiliates, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Islamic Action Front in Jordan.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is … looking to HTS as a governance model. HTS is a saviour for the nationalist Islamist project,” said Katrina Sammour, an Amman-based analyst.
Shia Iran’s proxies Hamas (which Iran finances although it is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood), Hizballah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are opposed to HTS. Ayatollah Khamenei blamed the U.S., Israel and Turkey for the fall of Assad, saying they were behind it. Turkey actually was.
Some things never change. Biden’s ineptitude and erratic recklessness continue. Biden waived sanctions on Iran three days after the November election, providing the terrorist regime “access upward of $10 billion in once-frozen funds.”

The United States is engaging in communications with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a Sunni Islamist organisation formerly aligned with al-Qaeda, in coordination with its Middle East allies, notably Turkey. Is this guy still president ,all world leaders seem to already be meeting with Trump either privately or at public events like Notre Dame re-opening on Dec. 7 this year .What Joe Biden says what his administration does in it’s closing weeks trying to get friendly with Jihadist leaders in Syria who will be fighting each other and make Turkey ,Iran ,and Russia more uncomfortable .Trump has said publicly we should not help either group of jihadist who are very busy fighting each other. As far as these groups of jihadist respecting Biden or believing that he has any power over what they do there ,Biden projects a very weak horse in Islamic terms releasing more funds to Iran so they can finance terror in the region Biden has set the world on fire with his appeasing and weakness in his four years as president ,be it the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the far east , the invasion at our own border and our trade policies ..

Regardless of whether anyone is interested in anything he says, his staff is still making policy, be it the new announcement on islamophobia, doing a fire sale of wall infrastructure, 15,000 pardons, trying to make it difficult to terminate current bureaucrats, et al. I am sure the Jihadist are laughing at “our” leader pleas for western style respect for women ,Christians ,and other religious groups now being threated by the hammer of Shira law. The glassy eyed ,mumbling old man who falls asleep at meetings with other world leaders .Who put a “lid” almost every day around 3PM at “work” in the Whitehouse if he is not on vacation at his Delaware mansion .Will Biden ship ten Thousand of the latest rainbow flags to them as a good will gesture .Will he offer drag queen story hour play books to the jihadist to change their minds from throwing them off rooftops? Can Hunter get another no show job with an energy company or some other company over there after Joe vacates the Whitehouse for good?
