Back in November, Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan threatened to use military force against Israel in order to aid Hamas. Turkey then drew a line in the sand, when Erdogan stated in March that Turkey “firmly backs” Hamas, and that “no one can make us qualify Hamas as a terrorist organization.” Nothing different can be expected of Turkey. Last week, Turkey joined South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the World Court. Erdogan previously called Netanyahu the “butcher of Gaza,” and declared that he’ll be tried as “a war criminal.” Turkey then halted all trade activities with Israel over Gaza.
Israel is now fighting back, and noted “that Turkey is the Palestinian Authority’s largest importing country.” Turkey is also a major Muslim Brotherhood-supporting country, along with Qatar; Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot.
“Israel Announces Countermeasures Against Turkey Following Trade Suspension,” NDTV, May 4, 2024:
Jerusalem: Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced several measures to be taken against Turkey following the latter’s decision to halt all trade activities with Israel due to “non-stop violence” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry said on Friday in a statement that in a discussion carried out by senior officials from the Foreign and Economy ministries, as well as the Israel Tax Authority, it was decided to work towards reducing any economic connection between Turkey and the West Bank and Gaza, Xinhua news agency reported.
Additionally, it was decided to take action in international economic forums to explore sanctions against Turkey for violating trade agreements, to create an alternative list for the Israeli economy across various sectors and products, and to support affected Israeli export sectors…..

Erdogan wants a revived Ottoman Empire, with Jerusalem as the capital of a United States of Arabs.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
The first part is true, but not the second. He wants Turkey to be the head of the islamic world once again, like it was w/ the Ottomans. Only thing: they’d need to retake Mecca and Medina, which means snatching it back from Saudi Arabia
Tony Rice says
Plus he wants to get into the European Union, I wonder what his plans there are?
SC says
He wants to run the world but the WEF doesnt want wack jobs him alive let alone running stuff.

Turkey and Qatar are very problematic, play double games and are home for American military bases. Both exponsor terrorism and are tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Turkey is part of NATO even though it keeps blackmailing EU threatening to flood Europe with more Muslims. Really, the EU and the USA must rethink their relationships with those crooks.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Problem is that both countries have our only military bases in the region. When we moved out of Saudi Arabia, those idiots in the Pentagon picked Qatar. As for Incirlik, that’s been there since the Cold War
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Israel needs to terminate diplomatic relations w/ Turkey, and declare it an enemy
Let’s see whether NATO decides to take Turkey’s side against Israel. If they do, it’ll increase the pressure in the US to pull out of NATO
John Smith says
I hope I’m wrong when I say this, but I believe it’s only a matter of time before Erdogan gets involved in this conflict.

Ate US nuclear weapons still in Turkey
