Turkey is itching to get into this war, and may well do so. Would it then be expelled from NATO? Almost certainly not, but it should have been expelled long ago.

  3. I have read that the Turks are preparing another Gaza relief flotilla, like the Mavi Marmara flotilla in 2010. I wonder whether the Turkish Navy might escort this one?

    How long before turkey attacks Israel? How long before it’s all over?
    How long before satan is cast into the abyss and his children are no longer doing his desires?

  7. As a member of NATO, if they go to war, are not other NATO countries obligated to assist? Does anyone really believe that other NATO countries will join the fray? However, I believe that Erdogan is simply making those comments for internal consumption, I really do not believe he has the courage. But one writer in a post above this, might have a point. If he send the Turkish Navy to protect a flotilla, will the Israeli Navy intercede. Perhaps that’s all Erdogan is waiting for…this could be an opportunity for him. But, what will NATO do then?

    • If other nato nations join the “fray,” perhaps there will be some very “friendly fire.” The turkeys could see some “incoming” with nato nations’ writing on the sides. but, not likely.

    • I believe that if a NATO signatory is attacked, then all other NATO countries have obligated themselves to assist in defending their fellow ally. But it a NATO country goes to war on its own, the other NATO allies are not required to assist.

    After all, they didn’t think twice about committing the genocide of Greeks, Armenians, and Assyrians.

    • Obviously I hope the Turks don’t make good on their threat but I believe there is every chance they will. Also Erdogan didn’t twice about shooting down that Russian fighter plane 7 years ago when it supposedly drifted into Turkish airspace. That could of easily triggered a war between Russia and NATO.

    • I don’t see other NATO countries joining the Turkish entity under whatever Article , Infidel . Besides , in case Turkey is the agressor Article 5 is void .

    • NATO nations must adopt the same sort of tactics as Turkey and Iran.

      One of the best ways to do that would be by supporting the Christian ARMENIANS and the Kurds of Iraq and Syria. YES I do know that both are very Leftists, but War makes for strange bed fellows.

      • The Armenians’ problem, and the Kurds’ problem, is that they’re both land-locked behind hostile states, so that their friends can hardly reach them. Our supply line to the Rojava Kurds in Syria runs through Iraq, and is very insecure. Armenia is even more isolated. Heaven help them all, there is very little we can do for them.

        As has been pointed out, NATO is a defensive alliance, and NATO member are not obliged to support Turkiye if Erdogan attacks Israel. I think Erdogan has little support from any other NATO state. I do wonder what might happen if the Turkish and Israeli navies start shooting at one another in the presence of s US Navy carrier battle group. Until now Erdogan has been aggressive but not reckless. But, like Hitler in 1939, Erdogan is getting old and he may push his luck harder as his time runs out.

  10. If Turkey does step in, I’m sure Iran will want a piece of that action too…not to mention other Islamic regimes like Pakistan.

    It could trigger WW3, I’m sure the US will be forced to join in and possibly NATO. Ofc at this point Turkey would have to be thrown out of Nato and hopefully replaced by Israel.

    If Israel is forced to defend itself alone, then I’m sure it won’t hesitate to use its nukes. Muslims have a death wish. Either they’ll destroy the infidels and make the world Islamic or they’ll die trying, it’s still a win-win for them.

    While there are signs the West is waking up, we still don’t get how serious and dangerous Islam is…but if Turkey does jump into this battle, then it will change everything.

    Expect Islamic terrorism in the West to skyrocket as Muslims will go totally nuts, forcing western militaries to step in.
