There are new developments in the investigation of the murder of Imam Hassan Sharif, who was found shot to death outside his mosque in Newark, New Jersey on Jan. 3.
According to the NBC report below, police are now looking at a possible family member as the assailant.
The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which had previously expressed skepticism that this was something other than a hate crime, have not commented on this latest development. So the media, which serves the interests of CAIR, made a statement for them:
Sharif’s shooting comes amid intensifying bias incidents against Muslims and Jews since Hamas committed terror attacks on Israel on Oct. 7, provoking a punishing war in the Gaza Strip.
Of course, the shooting comes amid many other things that may actually be related to the imam’s murder, such as the amount of violent crime committed by BIPOC’s.
Additionally, the claims of a surge in “bias incidents” against Muslims since October 7 are coming from CAIR, and are almost entirely examples of people getting in trouble for their pro-Hamas statements and actions at work, or at school.
The silver lining, if there is one, for CAIR is that they can now keep the $10,000 reward they solicited for information leading to arrest of the murderer, and buy Nihad Awad a new SUV.

Investigators are looking into whether a relative may be behind the killing of a Muslim leader who was shot outside his Newark mosque before morning prayers earlier this month, according to three law enforcement sources familiar with the case.
The killing of Imam Hassan Sharif as he prepared to open the Masjid Muhammad-Newark mosque on Jan. 3 has generated an intense law enforcement dragnet. Authorities have said they had no evidence that religious hate motivated the imam’s slaying, but vowed to protect people of faith amid soaring reports of bias attacks across the U.S.
One law enforcement source says there is video from the scene of Sharif’s killing that shows a man riding away on a bicycle. The sources say they are looking into whether that individual is a relative of Sharif.
The family declined comment to News 4 Friday on the matter.

Moslem killing another Moslem is not even news worthy , they kill each other by the millions over the last 100 years. A Moslem killing another relative over something is also consider normal and with ,”honor ,killing”, killing someone for leaving the faith ,killing someone over a disagreement in matters of faith all expectable killing according to Islam. Getting killed at the 6 am morning hours in crime ridden Newark except if you are a local elected official ,or someone consider “important” would not make the international news cycle .It would be on local news story for less then a week .With all the public and private cameras eyeing the streets of all American cities ,if it was a relative it will be in the news cycle a short time and quickly bury .

Deconstruct the crime: the murderer is of a different sect…not likely if in the same family.
It’s a member of the family who wanted another member to be closer…islam has no prohibition on incest…but the imam said ‘no,’ at least, for now.
The imam *dishonored* the family in some way….mozlums are fond of ‘honor killing.’
And the “family” has no comment on the matter. Likely they know who and why.

When CAIR speaks, one knows for certain that they are lying. How, one might ask. The answer is easy, their lips are moving or their fingers are pressing upon a keyboard. Only a moronic idiot would believe the numbers posted by this off-spring of the muslim brotherhood. After all, war is deceit and CAIR is certainly one of the most fraudulent organizations in the US.
I bet that when the culprit is identified, CAIR will never make a statement regarding the crime, much less the rational for the homicide.

It is called honour killings when taking place in your own family, so what could possibly be more honourable than to kill family members to maintain high standards of Islam?
