Denmark’s Immigration Minister Morten Bødskov rightly has concerns about creeping Islamization in his country, as should every infidel country, given the expansionary character of the Sharia. At the same time, he also has concerns about whether banning the bellowing of the adhan over loudspeakers is “compatible with Denmark’s constitutional protections for religious freedom.”
The Sharia is not compatible with Western laws, as it is based on Islamic supremacy.
In the recent Jihad Watch post, Canada: Muslim call to prayer blares out in downtown Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan, I wrote:
The adhan is particularly disruptive at dawn before sunrise. It translates to this:
Allahu akbar (Allah is greater)
I bear witness there is none worthy of worship except Allah
I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
Come to prayer
Come to success
Allahu akbar (Allah is greater)
There is none worthy of worship except Allah
The adhan, when it is broadcast over loudspeakers, is not just a blaring public summons to ensure that every Muslim (and non-Muslim) can hear it, over and above all other sounds, it’s a declaration of supremacy, both in its content and in its sheer volume; especially in infidel lands.
Even in Saudi Arabia, “families had been complaining that competing speakers were keeping their children awake.” And so Saudi Arabia defended an order in 2021 to turn down the volume of the adhan.
Islam calls for violence against disbelievers in conquest; it promotes supremacy over infidels, male supremacy over females, wife-beating, female coverings from head to toe (lest women be abused), sex slavery, child marriage, murder of gays, and the list goes on to include myriads of verses that are incompatible with human rights and Western values. Would permitting all of this fall under the banner of religious freedom? Obviously not. Neither does waking up a neighborhood in the early hours for the provocative, supremacist, and loud declaration that Allah is greater than every deity.
“Denmark plans to ban Islamic call to prayer: ‘Shouldn’t sound like a suburb of Islamabad,’” by Olivia Allhusen, Daily Mail, June 24, 2026:
Denmark is planning to ban the Islamic call to prayer, with the country’s immigration minister claiming parts of the nation risk sounding like ‘a suburb of Islamabad’.
Morten Bødskov said the government would reopen an investigation into whether the Muslim call to prayer can be outlawed nationwide, arguing that what he described as creeping ‘Islamisation’ was taking up too much public space.
‘The call to prayer should not be heard over Danish rooftops,’ the Social Democrat minister told Danish news agency Ritzau.
‘It has no place in Denmark, and you shouldn’t be in any doubt whether you’ve ended up in a suburb of Islamabad when you walk around Denmark.’
The Adhan, the Islamic call to prayer, is traditionally broadcast five times a day to summon worshippers to mosques, often through loudspeakers mounted on minarets.
Bødskov’s proposal marks the third attempt by a Danish immigration minister to establish a legal framework for banning the practice, following similar efforts in 2020 and 2025.
Parts of Denmark already restrict public calls to prayer. In Copenhagen, strict local noise regulations effectively prevent mosques from broadcasting the Adhan through loudspeakers.
The minister said an investigation would examine whether a nationwide ban could be introduced while remaining compatible with Denmark’s constitutional protections for religious freedom…

Nor should it sound like a suburb of Minneapolis or Detroit.

Suburbs of Minneapolis and Detroit should not sound like this, either.

in NYC also
In Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, locals say the Islamic call to prayer—the Adhan—is now broadcast over loudspeakers five times daily, including in the early hours before sunrise.
Huh?!? says
Smart move Denmark. Now start deportations.

Westman says
Muslim adults all have cell phones and there are at least 8 call-to-prayer apps on Google Play. There is no need for public call to prayer by primitive pre-electricity methods, now enhanced to unbearable with amplification, or even the towers themselves.
Like ancient Town Criers, the current purpose is to declare for the reigning authority of the village. The prayer tower message is clear: “We are here to dominate for Allah!”
Denmark should assert who is in charge by shutting down this wailing noise.

Yes–this is all about Muslim surpremacy, Westman.

Very good of Denmark but there is a better method. These type of remarks although true and powerful amount to nothing more than “he say /she say arguments”. The source of Muslim commentary is what needs to be revealed. Those revelations will raise some serious questions about how is it possible for a Quran faithful Muslim to live in a democracy or a democratic republic because the Quran does not support such a view. This is what needs to to challenged and revealed.

I would not trust this what they are saying. They already did this three times but never actually passed any legislation or stopped it.
This is more of the same, it is to gain approval form voters. And they will do it a fourth and fifth time as we. Why solve the problem?
How many remember all the statements and “laws” in Germany and France. Oh! This is really it! No more migrants! Migrants ordered deported!…. Migrant never acually gets deported he was only ordered deported, meanwhile another ten Muslim migrants arrive.
Don’t trust the Euros. There is an underlying philosophy holding Europe back from ever deporting or doing something meaningful against Muslims. It’s called population. Try view Muslims as th saviors of the social welfare system 🤣😂🤣.

Beans,
Realistically accurate.
It’s like Ilhan Omar prosecution reports. Lot’s of words and emotions.
Still waiting for any actions. . .

I hate to say it, I really do. But the only way Europe saves itself is with the blade. That is it. They will keep coming and eventually use it against you if the populations of natives don’t rise up and end them all.
Deportations are a hoax, we both know it. If they do deport one by rare chance, 100 more come legally and 40 come illegally, 200 are born.
Captain Quirk says
Rather old fashioned, blades, I dare say… And I also disagree with you that deportations are a hoax. What you are claiming is that the balance will always be negative, but that is up to us, isn’t it?
Beans🫘 says
Captain Kirk
Deportations are fake in Europe. I’m not talking about USA.
They are only ordered deported. The apparatus simply does not deport them. And just getting to get that deportation order that is never executed is a monstrous process.
It’s all fake bud. The Muslims will just keep coming.

Bravo! I have always respected Danes and enjoy danish in the morning.
Let’s see if any other countries do same.

I wish him success. That may depend on how many muzzlim nauseaters they have in their government. and if they have any more with backbones like his, and the desire to halt the muzzlim progress.
Wellington says
Not to be a downer here, but this seems like a band-aid placed upon a mortal wound. The ENORMOUS problem remains and that is that the West in general now has mucho millions of Muslims in its midst that it did not have even a half century ago. And the Buttlims breed like rabbits and will ALWAYS think their totalitarian religion is superior to all other religions and which totalitarian religion actively encourages both the use of force and deceit to advance itself.
Good for Denmark respecting this specific matter but the HUGE PROBELM remains. You bet it does.

Day late, dollar short?

That’s another way of putting it, GE.

Hey, my neighborhood also sounds like the suburb of Islamabad, don’t make accusation that only suburbs of Pakistan sounds like that. It is everywhere in the world where muslims are dominating (including where the muslims are the minority but dominating).
jimjames says
abu taleb- very good reply, I hope that those who read it pick up on the key word- dominating. This is the aim of Islam whether one identifies a particular behavior as ‘jihadist’ or ‘islamists’.
