We believe in multicultural diversity and we appreciate the Regina Police Service for giving us permission to test this call to prayer with the loudspeaker on the rooftop to give us that permission for one month to test, to see how it is going before they actually issue a permit for a longer period of time.
The city of Regina, which is responsible for granting the permit for this noise exemption, has abused its authority and responsibility to all its citizens. They have, in essence, like many other municipalities across the West, given permission to disturb the peace and the sleep of infidels. Infidels are now forced to listen to bellowing over loudspeakers that Allah is greater than their God, like it or not.
The adhan is particularly disruptive at dawn before sunrise. It translates to this:
Allahu akbar (Allah is greater)
I bear witness there is none worthy of worship except Allah
I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

The adhan, when it is broadcast over loudspeakers, is not just a blaring public summons to ensure that every Muslim can hear it, over and above all other sounds. Especially in infidel lands, it’s a declaration of supremacy, both in its content and in its sheer volume.
Even in Saudi Arabia, “families had been complaining that competing speakers were keeping their children awake.” And so Saudi Arabia defended an order in 2021 to turn down the volume of the adhan.

The details of Regina are a case in point. No one wants to go downtown. They have perpetual street construction and parking issues. Now they have a carnival carney blasting out a religious marketing message to the masses.
This mosque is in the downtown area because real estate values are low and they got a good deal on a vacant building. Regina residential real estate in the downtown area is taking a hit because of the quality of life issues. No services.
I suspect this little experiment to appease the Pakx hicks who emmigrated to Regina is going to backfire. Regina wants to protray itself as a vibrant city with a downtown lifestyle that revolves around homeless shelters, streets under construction, and a carnival carney blaring out a lifestyle message.
In Regina, many muslims live the North American lifestyle. Those (that aren’t involved in thug life) will tip back a few brews, maybe go out and socialize; some will eat pulled pork and other pork products, and enjoy the lifestyle of their neighbourhood.
