UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood delivered what her Labour Party wanted, as was mentioned in this Jihad Watch post on Monday: UK: Over 10,000 illegal boat migrants have invaded since Burnham became prime minister. Shabana Mahmoud attempts to water down her government’s settlement criteria by stating that “a refugee who did not arrive by small boat, who is working and studying, could qualify for settlement at 10 years,” while all others, despite being unvetted, remain for two or three decades without “official” settlement status. So they’re still rewarded by living off taxpayers indefinitely.
The Labour Party has provided a means to assist the invasion of mostly Muslim African and Middle Eastern unvetted illegals into the country. UK taxpayers are footing the bill for both their reckless government living high on the hog and the illegals they have assisted to enter the country. British citizens are sitting ducks as crime soars and national security declines. The state of the economy is an added crisis.

Addressing MPs this afternoon, the Home Secretary confirmed that illegal migrants will wait 20 years to achieve settlement in the UK, which will be extended to 30 years if they enter the country by an illegal method and do not enter work or study.
Ms Mahmood said: “Those who commit an immigration breach will see settlement push back to 20 years, while those who have claimed benefits must have had five continuous years without falling on the state before they make their application….
