This is a canny move, as it makes the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) appear to be a loyal, law-abiding organization that is going to respect this ruling even as it disagrees with it and fights it in the courts. And the terrorist designation is likely to be lifted, if not soon, then once a Democrat president takes office. The willful ignorance on the left about the nature of groups such as CAIR is near-total.

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has suspended operations in Florida, the organization has announced.
It did so after a federal judge rejected an emergency request Wednesday by the Muslim civil rights organization to stop the state from designating the group and its state chapter as domestic terrorist organizations, allowing the designation to take effect while its legal challenge, litigated by the ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center, continues.
Federal Judge Allen C. Winsor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida denied CAIR and CAIR Florida’s request to reverse the designation. In a ruling released Wednesday night, Windsor said the plaintiffs were unlikely to succeed at this stage on their claims that the designations under a new law (HB 1471) violates their due process and First Amendment rights.
The judge did issue a narrow form of preliminary relief, stating that Florida prosecutors cannot enforce the law against CAIR and CAIR Florida, their employees, or third parties with respect to provision of legal services to the groups.
That designation took effect Thursday. As a result, both groups say they have been forced to shut down their advocacy and operations in Florida.

At the end of the day, the United States is only slightly less stupid and weak than Europe and Britain. Despite decades of Muslim Brotherhood threats to destroy Western Civilization – and thus also the United States – “from within” and is supporting America’s enemies, Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah – the U.S, has failed to unequivocally ban the MB and its lying, deceiving, undermining fellow traveller enemy, CAIR. The Muslims are laughing at such pitiful weakness, vulnerability and susceptibility to nefarious enemy actions of which they take full advantage.
Something is horribly wrong with democracy when countries that are governed by democratic principles cannot adequately defend themselves with imprisonments and deportations. It is stunning observing imams (immigrants) and other empty-headed Muslims threatening to destroy America and to them nothing happens.
