French Intelligence Official on the Left-Islamist Alliance

Pierre Brochand is a former director of the French Directorate-General for External Security, (DGSE), which is France’s CIA. He has just issued an alarm about the growing threat of chaos and destruction that the alliance of young Muslims and French far-leftists have created, and whose threat to public order will only increase pari passu with the increase in Muslim numbers. France is entering a new threat era as two groups with relatively little in common — middle-class European leftists on one hand and unassimilated migrants on the other — have successfully coordinated in recent rioting, which will only become more frequent and violent in coming years, warns a top spy.

Only those blinded by incompetence or ideology could have been surprised by recent violence in France, yet even so the new ability of disparate leftist and disaffected groups to coordinate to cause chaos has been impressive, the former head of French CIA or MI6 homologue Pierre Brochand has said.

Brochand, a career diplomat who has been French ambassador to Israel, Hungary, and Portugal, was a junior diplomat in Vietnam in the 1970s including being present for the Fall of Saigon, and led the Directorate General for External Security (DGSE) between 2002 and 2008. Speaking to French newspaper of record Le Figaro last week, the veteran intelligence chief warned that “public order is now constantly challenged by… perpetrators who are in a state of cultural alienation and national disloyalty.”…

The Muslims in France are no longer hiding their contempt for the forces of order. They are the ones leading the violence, the destruction and looting of shops, the setting fire to cars and police wagons; they are the ones known as “casseurs” (those who smash things), with the far-left activists of “Antifa” (“antifascists”) joining them. They have no concrete demands, but want to cause as much damage as possible. The middle-class students, on the other hand, have so far held back from taking part in such massive destruction, and continue to make concrete demands of the government, asking for more teaching staff, physical improvements to crumbling schools, and a cap on the cost of school meals.

The “shock troops” of the left are protesting students and experienced rioters, he said, who remain “for the most part, of middle-class European origin”. Added to that, further, are “young people from the suburbs” — French euphemistic language for unintegrated migrant communities — said Brochand, who noted the “endlessly” repeated, near-ubiquitous emergence of phrases like “wallah” [“I swear by Allah”] in crowd and riot footage of recent weeks.

Not just “wallah,” but also the triumphalist Muslim exclamation of “Allahu akbar” can be heard at these protests, and when protesters wave a flag, it is not the French tricolore, but the flag of “Palestine.”

If the police cannot contain these protests that have been going on since September, are unable to protect government buildings from attack and shops from being looted, are unable as well to keep these rioters who make it impossible for normal life to continue from taking over city centers, then at some point the people of France — the indigenous French people — will organize themselves to violently suppress the Muslims and the black-balaclaved far-left. Bronchand is issuing a warning: the state must use much greater force to suppress the current rioters, and needs to diminish the Muslim population that plays such an important role in these riots. That will mean — he doesn’t say it directly, but it is surely one of the measures he thinks will be necessary — calling a halt to Muslim immigration and deporting those Muslim migrants who are already in France if they are convicted of crimes or demonstrate that they are unable and unwilling to integrate into the larger society that those whom the Muslims describe as “the most vile of created beings” created.
