The replacement for rapist and antisemite Graham Platner as the Democratic Senate candidate in Maine is Troy Jackson, a non-rapist logger who is anti-Israel, but not yet, apparently, an antisemite. Give him time. He’s just put on a display of anti-Israel animus that would please Hasan Piker and Francesca Albanese. Details of his speech, and the “rapturous applause” that his anti-Israel remarks elicited, can be found here: “Maine Democratic Senate Nominee Accuses Israel of ‘Genocide’ at Town Hall,” by Corey Walker, Algemeiner, September 29, 2026:

Maine Democratic Senate nominee Troy Jackson has accused Israel of “genocide” in Gaza and affirmed that he will not vote in favor of US military aid to the Jewish state if he wins the upcoming November election.
Jackson made the assertions while fielding comments from attendants of a local town hall on Sunday. During the Q&A session, one voter, donning a keffiyeh, asked Jackson if he viewed the war in Gaza as a “genocide.” The voter claimed that Jackson’s position on the war in Gaza serves as a “red line” on whether they would cast a ballot in his favor.
In his response, Jackson reminisced on the recent birth of his granddaughter and expressed sympathy for the Gazan children who have been killed during the Israel-Hamas war. He stated that he would not vote in favor of sending more military assistance to Israel and affirmed his belief that the Jewish state had committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
“Thinking about what is going on there is horrific. I can’t imagine how people, you know, live there, and kids have to worry about bombs falling on them,” he said.
“I’m definitely not willing to vote for any more bombs, anymore aid,” he continued.
Jackson lambasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “war criminal” and claimed he would like to see the Israeli leader prosecuted
“And I obviously reiterate what is going on there is a genocide,” Jackson said, without elaborating.
Jackson’s broadside repudiations against Netanyahu and Israel were met with rapturous applause by the attendees.
Israel adamantly denies allegations of genocide and war crimes more broadly. Officials argue their military has gone to unprecedented lengths to try and avoid civilian casualties, noting efforts to evacuate areas before it targets them and to warn residents of impending military operations with leaflets, text messages, and other forms of communication….
Jackson’s Republican opponent is Senator Susan Collins. She has been most adept at bringing federal investments to Maine. As a senior member, and now the chair, of the Appropriations Committee, she has brought billions of dollars in federal funding for local projects to Maine. Just since 2021, she has been responsible for $1.5 billion in such funding. She’s managed to direct hundreds of millions of federal dollars in fiscal year appropriations for community infrastructure, health care, and military manufacturing. Were she to lose to Jackson, someone with no seniority would hold her Senate seat, and the newcomer would be unlikely to be given a coveted position on the Appropriations Committee. Maine voters have a huge financial stake in keeping her in the Senate, where her seniority and powerful position as chair of the Appropriation Committee have enabled her to bring so much federal funding to the state.
And as for Israel, while Troy Jackson calls the country guilty of “genocide” and promises to vote against sending military aid to the Jewish state, Susan Collins has been one of the strongest supporters of Israel in the Senate. She has consistently backed unconditional military aid, emergency funding packages, and expedited weapons deliveries. She co-sponsored legislation to fund the Iron Dome. She joined a bipartisan delegation to Israel following the October 7, 2023, attacks. Unlike a number of Democrats who have noisily rejected support from the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Collins strongly defends her backing from the organization, that she says promotes essential ties between the United States and Israel, which she describes as “the one democracy in the Middle East” and a “true ally,” while attributing criticism of Israel and of AIPAC to a broader rise in antisemitism.
In Maine, many voters will sensibly vote for Susan Collins, the senator who has been so successful at bringing billions in federal funding to the state. And voters who support Israel, both Jews and non-Jews, have an additional reason to vote for her because of her steadfast support of the embattled Jewish state. In this contest, there should be no contest.

He sounds like a “hidden” Muslim !like so many Socialists in USA, UK and Australia.

His total ignorance of what has happened in Gaza and the Middle East over the last 3 years is staggering. No student of history or western civilization should consider voting for this guy.

considering the masses who think like he does, and keep demonstrating this hatred for Israel and Jews
there is much more going on here..
and no one wants to discuss the persistent teaching of supersessionism and demonization of Jews by half the world population
Jews are “inconvenient” because they will not abandon the Torah, the foundation of ethical monotheism to those who now claim this history and heritage while being denigrated in subtle and direct ways
and because, wherever Jews are, their culture succeeds and is a blessing shared among the nations

Pandering to Muslims in Maine. Tons of Somalis. They’ve taken over several towns in Maine. They vote as a block.

Ever notice that when Islam starts a war, they call it jihad.
Then, when they start losing…they cry ‘genocide’ and play the victim.

Islam is the killer and has been for over 1400 years. The sooner the west wakes up to that and realize the danger the better. These political idiots care more about campaign finances and voting blocks than the country and citizens they represent.

That is exact their playbook.
The left buys into it and uses it as well.
They’ve passed their sick ideas to us in the west.
Listen to Rubio in Athens and his strong defense of western civilization .

Netanyahu isn’t war criminal. The real war criminals isn’t the soldiers of the Israel Defense force . It’s the ,top dogs,, chiefs of Hamas who had their Muslim terrorists stooges murderous actions of attempted of genocide, against the peaceful Jewish citizens of the State of Israel on October 7th 2023.. Likewise, the ICC would also issue arrests warrants against those Muslim despots of Iran, who send Hamas and Hezbollah with deadly weapons, Iran’s proxy, , for those dangerous and deadly jihad entities have every intention of committing genocide against the Jewish people.
Furthermore, those charge of “genocide’” against Israel are as absurd as they are also false. For it’s those jihadists of Hamas who committed action of attempted genocide against the Jewish people.
For it was Hamas that stated that current war in the Middle East by murderously invading Israel, on October 7,th , and now has its jihadists hide their terror and weapon centers among civilians ,including children in Gaza and then have the gall to blame the Israel Defense Force when civilians are killed.
For it was Hamas using its Muslim terrorists then attempted to commit genocide against the Jewish people, then when event further in their horrendous evil and the by kidnapping many Israel’s young females and raping thern. .
Those Hamas jihadists are so cruel and vicious that they even took Jewish infants and burned them to death while they were still alive.
In spite of all those facts, some despicable men of the UN wants to have acquittal for Hamas from all is wicked jihad terrorism and release its jihadists from the monstrous Islamic evil that they have so vicious committed and are very guilty of, and yet condemn Israel for striking back and Hamas in self- defense. This is absurd and wrong. Very absurd and wrong.
To add to this libelous and slanderous of false charges of genocide are made against Israel about it heads of government and the IDF.
Such charges are as absurd as they are also wrong. Those changes are very absurd.
Related to this, the Bible informs its reader that “Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent – – the Lord detests them both.” Proverbs 17:15. [N.I.V.]

I don’t like him, but I absolutely loathe Susan Collins (and Lisa Murkowski) – who make the GOP majorities in the Senate look like minorities. Only good vote I remember of hers was her voting for the law to ban congressmen from trading stocks. That alone is not enough to make me vote for her, given her votes on things like the SAVE Act
I’d rather see a state as Blue as Maine have a genuine Marxist, or even a muslim, than a fake Republican. But that’s just me
