By now, half the world seems to think that Israel has committed “genocide” in Gaza. It’s a preposterous charge. At its heart, “genocide” requires intent. The IDF has not intended, nor has it ever tried, to wipe out Palestinian civilians. The Israeli military has made a tremendous effort, including dropping millions of leaflets, sending millions of text messages, and making millions of robocalls as well as utilizing the “knock-on-the-roof” technique, to warn civilians away from sites about to be targeted. Meanwhile, Hamas makes every effort to embed its men and its weapons in civilian structures — schools, mosques, hospitals, apartment buildings — using Gazan civilians as hostages, whose deaths can be exploited for propaganda purposes.
Israel has sent into Gaza close to two million tons of humanitarian aid, mainly food and medicine. Would a “genocidal” state do that? Israel worked with the World Health Organization to ensure that a million children in Gaza were vaccinated against polio. Is that “genocide”?
Finally, of the 74,000 deaths in Gaza, at least 25,000 were Hamas members. In Gaza historically, 8,000 people die each year of accidents and disease; in the three years of the war, then, 24,000 Gazans died from such non-combat-related cause. In addition, it has been estimated that rockets that Hamas and by Palestinian Islamic Jihad launched that misfired caused the deaths of between 3,000 and 5,000 deaths of civilians in Gaza. Once you do the math, you discover that the number of civilian deaths that were combat-related and caused by the IDF (this does not include rockets misfired from Gaza) amount to between 20,000 and 22,000. That means the civilian-to-combatant ratio in Gaza has been between 20,000:25,000 and 22,000:25,000. Either results in a civilian-to-combatant ratio below 1:1.
To understand what an achievement this is, consider that the UN believes that in all the wars fought after 1945, the civilian-to-combatant ratio has been, on average, 9:1. In Afghanistan, the Americans managed to get that ratio down to 4:1, and in Iraq, to 3:1. But no military in history has achieved a ratio of 1:1, as the IDF did in Gaza. That is why West Point Professor John Spencer has concluded that “Israel has done more and implemented more measures to prevent civilian harm than any military in the history of urban warfare.” When it comes to Israel, we can only ask in wonderment: Genocide? What genocide?
There has been an attempt at genocide in the Middle East — the one that Hamas, not Israel, carried out. Investigative journalist and author Gerald Posner released a new paper on Monday examining whether the Hamas-led attack on southern Israel meets the legal standard for genocide under the 1948 Genocide Convention. Posner previously authored a legal primer titled Genocide for Dummies, examining whether Israel’s military campaign in Gaza met the genocide threshold under international law.
Now, he has turned his focus toward the actions of Hamas on October 7.
In his new analysis, titled “The Genocide Case Against Hamas,” Posner addressed initial threshold questions regarding duration and non-state entities. He noted that the Genocide Convention does not require a prolonged campaign, explaining that a single act committed with the requisite intent can legally qualify, and that international tribunals and courts have previously established that genocide can be committed by non-state groups and individuals rather than governments alone.
To support this, Posner cited several historical examples, including the individual convictions of private individuals like Georges Rutaganda during the Rwandan genocide, the actions of the army of the Republika Srpska, a non-state entity, during the Srebrenica massacre, and the landmark genocide conviction of an ISIS member in Frankfurt for atrocities committed against the Yazidis.
The paper outlined the two core components required under international law: the actus reus, or guilty act, and dolus specialis, which is the special intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group as such. Posner explained that while mass killing, torture, and sexual violence clearly satisfy the prohibited acts under the convention, the more complex determination centers on proving special intent….
Posner analyzed the attack on more than 20 civilian communities, noting that at places like Kibbutz Be’eri, Kfar Aza, and Nir Oz, terrorists went house to house, set homes on fire, and executed families, with recovered-body data showing 80% of bodies at Be’eri had been tortured….
Let us remind ourselves of the torture. Girls and women were gang-raped, had their breasts cut off, knives stuck in their vaginas. Men had their genitalia cut off, and had their eyes gouged out. Babies were burned to death. Whole families were bound together with wire and set aflame.
Hamas committed the real genocide. It had been unaware that a music festival had been in progress, but was happy to suddenly have hundreds of young Jews to cut down. It killed indiscriminately: Of the 1,221 people whom Hamas killed on October 7, 2023, about 70 foreigners, mainly Thai and Nepalese, and about 20 Bedouin, were also killed, but they were never the object of Hamas’ homicidal fury; they were merely in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Regarding the charge of “genocide,” neither Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu nor Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ever issued threats to kill all Arabs, or all the people in Gaza. They pledged only to kill the “murderers,” that is, the Hamas members who had tortured and murdered 1,221 people, 93% of them Israeli Jews, and kidnapped 251, to be held as hostages, where many were tortured in captivity, and were used as bargaining chips to force Israel to free imprisoned Palestinians.
Posner concluded by challenging critics with a falsifiable standard, demanding that anyone seeking to refute the conclusion of genocide must provide a valid military rationale for executing infants and the elderly, explain away the explicit house-to-house execution instructions, reconcile the 1988 [Hamas] Covenant’s eliminationist text with the physical reality of the massacre, and offer an alternative interpretation for leaders’ explicit public pledges to repeat the violence again and again.
The supporters of Hamas have not answered and cannot answer Posner’s conclusion. How can they come up with a reason for the sliced breasts, cut-off genitalia, eyes gouged out, the knives thrust into vaginas, the families burned to death, other than the intent to commit genocide? How is the strangling, while in captivity, of the two Bibas boys, four-year-old Ariel and 10-month-old Kfir, not part of a “genocide” against the Jews?
There has been an attempt at “genocide” in the Middle East, all right, the one conducted not by, but against, the Jews of Israel.

It’s Hamas that is actually guilty of attempting genocide that is against the Jewish people.
It should never be forgotten that Hamas started this current war of October 7th. 2023 when it had its Muslim terrorists invade Israel and engage in many of the most horrendous Islamic atrocities against the peaceful and unarmed Israeli citizens. In Allen’s book on Rape Warfare the author starts with a definition of genocidal rape and mentions how this was occurring during the Serbian-Bosnian wars of the 1990s. The author follows up with a definition of rape/death camps.
Many of the criteria mentioned also applies to the current Hamas conflict. It can thus be understood that Hamas is committing a rape genocide against the Israeli people, towns and kibbutzim in southern Israel.
Especially the third form of rape/genocide is being applied by Hamas currently. Namely, targeted women are imprisoned in rape/death camps, and are raped systematically for an extended period of time. Evidence comes from the statement of Trevor Noah that “the girls are alright but they are being horribly sexually exploited”. A small number of images claimed to be Hamas rape victims are available on the open internet.
Evidence of rape is implicit in Islamic Law for females captured during raids or war. See Ali Sina on the Hadith of Bukhari. It is expected that all females in this situation will be raped.
The rape/death camps in this case are the hospitals, other above ground structures and with the addition of below ground tunnel system. This satisfies the criteria that the rape/death camps are “buildings or other enclosures where … girls and women are kept and systematically raped for weeks or months at a time.

Face facts, genocide ( Africa) that is happening currently and in the past has been done by Islam against all peoples that are not Muslim and some Muslims that are deemed not Muslim because they are different in beliefs of Islam.
Islam does not have a moral fiber in their beliefs where as the Quran and sharia law tells them “To Kill Them Where You Find Them” or seek them out to kill them.
