Brendan Nugent, a leftist environmentalist Australian activist who spent a lot of time ranting about Gaza and Trump, who appeared to have enough sway to be followed by multiple Australian parliamentarians, including the woman he ran over, and Australia Green leader David Shoebridge, committed a horrifying crime.
He ran over MP Helen Haines. Then he backed over and ran her over some three times. The older woman lost one leg and may lose the second one.
the alleged attack saw a vehicle conduct a U-turn to ram Haines against a vehicle, before reversing and hitting her a second time. Eyewitness Cody Lepoidevin, who works across the road from where the alleged attack occurred, says he saw Haines get hit multiple times.
“We thought he was trying to run away, but he then reversed and drove back into her another three times before trying to flee,” he told reporters.

Yes, there are certainly other “contenders” but I think it arguable that the Western MSM is the winner here because were it truly informed, stalwart and ruthlessly objective then other “contenders” such as many politicians and academics would not get away with all they do.
