The action to root out the jihad infrastructure in Judea and Samaria is likewise presented all in terms of Israel’s claims. There is, for AP, no jihad, you see. There is only Israeli aggression.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Two Israeli soldiers were killed in an attack in the occupied West Bank that also left two suspected gunmen dead Friday morning, the military said. The violence is likely to heighten political tensions and security concerns ahead of next week’s parliamentary election.
Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roytman, 23, and Sgt. Yuval Shai Svilem, 20, were killed and three others were lightly wounded during the attack near the Yehuda Junction outside the West Bank city of Hebron, the army said.
The army said its soldiers had prevented a “terror attack against Israeli civilians” and that the two suspects, both Palestinians from Hebron, used an M16 rifle and a handgun.
It said the men arrived at an Israeli military position in the morning, triggering an exchange of fire lasting approximately 20 minutes, after which the gunmen were killed by Israeli troops. The army said its forces prevented the men from advancing toward civilians.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later visited the attack site as his office instructed security forces to immediately cordon off Hebron and prepare for a full closure of the West Bank, starting Friday.
Israel will retaliate with a sweeping anti-terror operation in the Hebron neighborhood where the gunmen lived, Netanyahu said.
“We will evacuate the residents, we will go house-by-house, we will also remove the weapons there, and all the terror infrastructure will be dealt with and destroyed,” Netanyahu said.
Later Friday, Israel’s military said its forces had begun “conducting precise, targeted and thorough searches” in the area of Hebron from which the two gunmen had operated.
It added in a statement that this operation was expected to continue for several days, and all residents living in the area will only be able to leave through three designated exit points following “questioning and security screening.”
The army said it has started demolishing infrastructure that poses a “threat” and that its soldiers continue operating across the West Bank….

A massacre of Jews in their homes by Palestinians going in a house-to-house murder spree of the most barbaric including sawing off legs and arms of Jews in their own homes while the British Mandate Police waited outside of the city until the terror and probably screams forced them to intervene- not by shooting or arresting the Palestinian killers but by gathering all the remaining Jewish residents of Hebron and marching them out of the city – for their own safety – from which they were never able to return until Liberation Day in 1967 Six Day War. This Hebron is the Second Holiest City in Judaism and Jews were removed – for their own safety for 38 years and would have been forever or until a Jewish army defeated the Arab armies and liberated stolen land including Hebron. And today 97 years after the genocidal massacre of Jews, still have to have armed guard protecting the Jewish residents of Hebron from the same massacre and genocide by the same people – Palestinians, of 1929.
