A Minnesota homecoming celebration shattered by gunfire has become the latest flashpoint over crime and bail after the accused shooter was released from jail just two days after his arrest.
Adam Abdihakeem Adam, 18, posted bond and was released Saturday evening, according to Hennepin County jail records reviewed by Fox News Digital.
Police say he shot two teenagers outside Eden Prairie High School during its Oct. 2 homecoming football game, prompting the evacuation of the stadium.
His release drew criticism from President Donald Trump’s Rapid Response 47 account, which highlighted police statements linking the shooting to rival Somali gangs.
“A Radical Left judge immediately granted him a no-condition bail,” the account wrote on X.
Jail records list a $100,000 bail or bond option without conditions and show Adam was released at 7:04 p.m. Oct. 10. He faces two felony counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday afternoon….

There should have been no bail due to the seriousness of the crime. But since the ‘judge’ allowed bail, it should have been a couple of million….enough to affect the parent’s pocketbooks.

Do I see a future engineer or doctor in the photograph? Does his family have duel citizenship for all members ,does this young man have a passport ? This got little coverage outside of local news reports .Could there be a flight risk a fine upstanding man that could go to prison for a number of years if found guilty ?

He shot two students. That is attempted murder. That is not an immediate release by bail crime.WHat is going on in that state? If Minnesota’s method of handling crime went nation wide we might as well pack up the US and toss it in the garbage. And Somalis seem to have been given a special gift by the Governor Tim Walz of anything they do from medical office taxpayer money scams to planning mass murder is considered not really so bad. Smart move, as usual, from the Minnesota Justice system. I have a friend who used to go up to the twin cities for fun but stopped after the George Floyd insanity. The police told him they only respond to shots fired so if you get assaulted, you’re on your own. Insane.

At the very least, bond decisions following very serious crimes should be made by three people:
1. The judge
2. The head of the local police department
3. The head of the local government
All should agree if bond is granted. One person dissents – the person stays in jail.
