The world having gone absolutely insane, Sierra Retzlaff and Charlie Garrett are likely to get a lot of heat for this, but in a sane world, they would be the heroes of the story. Sierra and Charlie are both girls who are on the cross country running team at Skyview High School in Vancouver, Washington. Recently they discovered that in a meet against Skyview’s rival Camas High School, they would be competing against a boy — and they refused to play along with this madness.
In a world that includes Rachel Levine and Lia Thomas, Camas High’s Logan Mihailoff stands out as one of the most outrageously absurd and infuriating examples of the continuing pandering to the deluded men and women who think they have become members of the opposite sex, and demand that everyone play along. Mihailoff, according to a Friday Fox News report, “finished 76th in a JV cross country race. On Sept. 29, he finished first in a varsity race in a meet against Union High school.”
This was not the result of improved training habits or recovery from some injury. Instead, halfway through the racing season, Logan Mihailoff decided to declare that he was a girl, and instead of telling him to cut the crap or (if he really seemed to believe this nonsense) treat him for mental illness, school officials, as well as the top dogs, of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), duly fell into woke lockstep, and eagerly agreed with Logan that he was a girl, and indeed, one of exceptional athletic ability.
And so suddenly this unaccomplished middle-of-the-pack runner was transformed into a top competitor: he finished “second among 195 girls in a Sept. 26 race in Portland.” And then he won the top spot in another race three days later.
When Camas was about to compete against Skyview, however, Retzlaff and Garrett were not filled with the joy of diversity at the prospect of competing against the demure “Ms.” Mihailoff. Being well aware that Logan, whatever his claims to the contrary, was really a guy. And “after some discussion, they decided that they were going to make a statement. How? By walking up to the starting line with body paint reading ‘keep women in women’s sports’ … and walking off once the race began.”
The woke, deluded, conformist and groupthinking types were predictably indignant. “Retzlaff said that she has received a lot of support but has also had friends that started ignoring her.” Her father, Joel Retzlaff, however, were completely on her side. He and his wife “brought two signs to the Sept. 15 meet. The first read: ‘It will never be OK for a XY to steal an opportunity from a XX.’ The second read: ‘Please only XX competing with XX, XY competing with XY. Keep it fair.’”
The WIAA, however, although it doesn’t have a rule against men pretending to be women in order to win awards in women’s sports, it does have a rule against signs, and by golly, it is eager to crack down on this menace: “Camas’ athletic director Stephen Baranowski approached Retzlaff and asked him to leave. Retzlaff asked why, and Baranowski explained to him it was because of the signage. Retzlaff agreed to take the signs down, but he still wanted to make his voice heard. So as he walked back to his car after Sierra’s race, he held up his sign and chanted ‘Keep boys out of girls sports!’ And after he got into his car, he drove by the venue, honked his horn and repeated the same chant while his friend held the signs out the window.”
That was too much for the dignified solons of the Camas school district. They slapped Joel Retzlaff with a criminal trespass notice, barring him from “Camas school district properties for the next year.” They should be barring Logan Milhailoff, not Joel Retzlaff, but such are the skewed priorities and perspectives of our absurd age.
For his part, Retzlaff says: “I would beg to ask them where all the adults are that know the difference between a boy and a girl and why they’re letting this happen.” Because they’re conformist lemmings who are afraid of the social opprobrium that can come from noting that the emperor has no clothes. He is, however, still naked.
After the pattern of leftists everywhere, the people who are in favor of allowing deluded men who claim they’re women to compete in women’s sports are trying to intimidate their opponents into submission: “Mihailoff’s mother followed her around and recorded her for much of the meet. Apparently, she didn’t stand down when Garrett’s mother, Emily Sadowski, confronted her and told her to stop filming.”
Charlie Garrett, who is a real girl, is nevertheless standing her ground, saying: “I thought it was more important to show how this is affecting me and all the girls in our. It comes down to biology and the spots being taken away from Sierra, me and all the girls.”
Indeed it does.

FINALLY! I have said this from the start. I have had ZERO sympathy for all these women having their sports destroyed by these deranged men. All they have to do is refuse to compete! They don’t have to argue or get into debates about biology and pronouns. Just show up, say, “I will not compete against this person”, and that would be the end of it!
These deviants could either go home or create competitions where they compete against each other. This nonsense could call end TODAY!

All the real women should band together and when the starting pistol fires, break into a slow jog for the duration of the race. Do that for each race the “it” is allowed to compete in. The organizers will soon get the message. The father that was trespassed should sue the school in federal court for suppression of his first amendment rights “under the color of law.” The Babylon Bee, a while back, produced a satire of a motorcyclist that lost all his races, who then identified as a bicyclist and shattered every bike race record.

The problem is more fundamental and metastatically cancerous than the women’s sports issue. Hawaii, California and New Mexico have passed blatantly unconstitutional laws regulating or requiring disclaimers on AI-generated or digitally altered political satire, parodies, and memes. The satirical website The Babylon Bee has legally challenged these laws, arguing they violate First Amendment free speech rights, and they are right!
Hawaii’s Governor Josh Green signed a bill into law that prohibited distributing “materially deceptive media” targeting political candidates during elections without a state-mandated disclaimer. In January 2026, a federal district court ruled in The Babylon Bee v. Lopez that Hawaii’s law was unconstitutional and blocked its enforcement. 42 USC section 1988 allows a prevailing plaintiff attorney fees which Hawaii paid. •Gavin Newsom signed bills into law in September 2024 to restrict political deepfakes and altered election-related content, including parodies and satire. A federal judge blocked California’s law, ruling that it unlawfully censored protected speech and political humor. Finally, New Mexico law amending its Campaign Reporting Act, requires explicit warning labels on AI-generated political content and “materially deceptive media.” The Babylon Bee filed a federal lawsuit in August 2026 against the New Mexico State Ethics Commission, arguing that forcing a disclaimer on AI-backed political sketches and jokes ruins and unconstitutionally censors comedic expression. I predict that The Babylon Bee will pull off a hat trick.
These unconstitutional laws serve no purpose but to throw stumbling blocks before those that want to criticize the government. It’s a win for the government because it chills the speech of those that would criticize the government for a few years until the courts rule the government action unconstitutional. And Hawaii, California and New Mexico don’t care. If they lose, taxpayer dollars are used to pay any damages and attorney’s fees, and they’ve accomplished their objective to keep criticism of the gubbmint to a minimum for that election cycle.
Allowing trans-its to compete in women’s sports was never about recognizing the its as women, although it was set forth as such as a guise. It was always intended to throw a monkey wrench into the gear works of society in an attempt to break a system that worked since this nation was founded.

We have proposition 318 on our ballots here in AZ to protect women’s sports:
“A yes vote shall have the effect of requiring public schools, private schools, and athletic associations to designate every athletic team as male, female, or co-ed/mixed based on sex and to prevent males from joining female teams; existing law imposes this requirement only on public schools and those competing against them.”
It also prohibits schools and athletic associations from authorizing anyone to use private spaces (such as restrooms) not designated for that individual’s sex.
And defines sex as an individual’s biological sex as male or female as recorded at birth on an original birth certificate.
It also authorizes athletes to sue schools and athletic associations that knowingly violate this law
The Democratic headquarters gave out pamphlets encouraging voters to vote no, without any information on what the proposition was about.
A few Dems I know were ready to just vote what they were handed, until I challenged them on this and other propositions. They then changed their minds.
